Price: with tax and fees payable at the hostel, this is not as cheap as it first seems. Location: I personally do not have a problem with the hostel not being on the strip. Its vicinity to the arts district is great for art lovers. There are very good and affordable restaurants nearby. Rooms and facilities: they are okay; the cleanliness (of the floor and bedding) is a bit questionable tho. Service and operations: terrible. The way this hostel operates is very legacy and not professional, despite the staff being okay/nice personally. Things to look out for: no 24-hour reception so taking a late flight in can can lead to you being homeless for one night which is not safe for female travelers... the computer system then marks you as a no-show, so your booking on the hostelworld becomes invalid and the fees you paid to the hostelworld are wasted as well. But it might get worked out if you notify and coordinate with the hostel beforehand. All this being said, as long as you set your expectations right, the stay is still okay.

The vibe is fantastic! The front desk was great! The rooms could have better air conditioning and hotter water with cleaner showers. The bunks were fine, the lockers fine, and room clean. There is 2 stoves and 3 refrigerators for communal use. As well as a nice lounge / common area. It is not located in the best area, but I didn't not have any problems walking from 1 mile from the monorail to there at 1am everyday.

They put my wife and me in a “mixed” room, but they fill out the room only with guys and the hostel didn’t tell them that the it was a mixed room so the guys was not polite and walking around naked, talking bad things and with condons on their beds. We were supposed to stay until tomorrow but we leave this morning, I ask for a refund for the day that we not going to be here and the front desk guy just said that there is nothing that they can do. Totally disrespectful place, needs to be shut down. My wife got scared, she said that prefers do sleep inside the car in a good parking lot than stay at this place. At least give our money back!

This place is disgusting! The owner let a girl stay for two more weeks even after he found out she made racist comments against every black employee! Roaches in the room. Uncomfortable beds. Filthy bathrooms. The staff is a complete joke very unhelpful not to mention a bunch of dopehead alcoholics. Homeless living here. Guests have been assaulted in this area many times. Drug addicts all around this location very unsafe neighborhood. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE EVEN IF YOUR DESPERATE!!

My baby sister was not allowed a refund even though her flight from DEN-LAS was delayed by 13 hours, which meant she couldn't utilize her reservation for the night. Really? As if the flight delay wasn't bad enough! Do the right thing!

I think it's the type of hostel one either loves or hates. Unfortunately I hated everything about this hostel. The area is very dodgy and unsafe, the beds were so uncomfortable (I could feel the springs of the mattress) other guests staying there were all very weird (spitting on the floor, leaving trash everywhere..), definitely not my vibe. There are also no rules regarding quiet hours and speakers right next to all the rooms and the staff play music all day long. I asked one staff member once if she could ask guests to turn the music if it was loud during the night. She looked at me in shock like why am I asking and said 'we dont have quiet hours, this is Vegas'. They only charge one night so that they can overcharge the other nights at a higher price than what is stated on booking.com. I honestly could not wait to leave this dump of a hostel, definitely would not recommend it.

Stayed for two weeks. 5 ppl quit the police were called twice. No respect for the paying guest. Staff are immature, lazy, drunk, and the so called manager just walks away pouting. Worst experience I've had at any hostel to date. And for the b.s. and childish stuff that happened not a partial refund or even a apology. Idk what everyone was going through but I notified the BBB and FTC. Whoever the owner is supposed to be need to look into who they have entrusted their property to.. It was so bad I'm have the Veterans Hospital do a Health and Welfare and City Code Compliance to take a look.

While I never did stay here, my experience with management was horrible. The guy was rude and their website is misleading. Be careful! They ripped me off for 1 night premium/would not refund my $ even though it did not state "no refunds" before I booked. Only after booking will it tell you that, among other things. Bad people. Also, don't believe the response from the owner below. Read others 1 star reviews and you will see that they are after your money only. They do not care about right or wrong.

This place was definitely a saving grace, as I am not really a city person. The staff was wonderful! Everything was clean and immaculate daily. The courtyard was a safe space to chill and talk with people from all different walks of life. Would totally go back and again. And recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great space to stay.

Great Location but management needs improvement Just to let anyone know if you are planning to stay at Bungalows hostel about my experience. During check in, front desk clerk Mike was nice and friendly. Just be very careful with the locals that stay there. One my first night, it was me and another lady who was already in the room before me another lady check in while I was already asleep. The bed that I was assign was very very uncomfortable. I mentioned it to Taylor a front desk clerk the next morning, as soon as the office open. Taylor was very accommodating and move me to lower bed that will be available that day. On my fourth morning which is Thursday, the lady who was there before me, open the blind as I was getting dress. Note that six beds room is already full. I rush to the window and told her not to open the blind because I am getting dress. She flat out and said to me that I am already dress. I close the blind, she open it again, I close the blind the second time, she open it the third time. I decided to go to the bathroom where a lady from Peru that just check in a night before was in the bathroom putting her make up on and left the bathroom door open. As soon as I walk inside the bathroom try to finish getting dress, she saw me putting the rest of women's attire, she left the bathroom. Mind you that there are guys sitting in the open area of the hostel and they are facing the room. Locals will leave the window blind open while you are getting dress. Be aware that Bungalows hostel is not a member of international hostel world. Don't expect same experience as International hostel because international hostel has rules and regulations that must follow. If you are a member of hostel international, don't expect to get a membership discount. One thing about the hostel is location, is close to Deuce bus that go to the Strip and the bus run 24/hours. Be careful while walking during the night and even day. Other than the incident, I enjoy my stay.

Very unique hostel with the bungalows, fits perfectly with the old school Vegas surroundings with its colourful boho decor. There are a lot of local homeless/drugged up people floating around, exchanges happened in front of your eyes. The reception team were either very happy to help with your question/request and then at other times, it was a clear nuisance and met with hostility.

Like with anything cheap, its not guaranteed and really a gamble. I liked the layout when I went skiing in Tahoe California. Bunk twin beds with a curtain for privacy. it worked for me then. But this time I guess the staff did not anticipate the loud and disrespectful couple in the same dorm as me as I am writing this. I asked politely how about some sleep. Then again with the bunk shaking. the loud snoring from the first night was bad even with silicon ear buds. I won't be staying here again. No one to move me to a different bed the day of my flight. Front desk is empty. Towel is missing. It is funny actually that someone was sweeping the outside area no one really uses and the floor inside is filthy. 3 good nights out of 7 is not working for me. I lost money. oh well. I guess I can write this and move on. I dont know if its too much to ask for if someone could be available to deal with these problems 24/7. I talked to someone outside after giving up on sleeping and he was also having trouble with dorm mates. Something about air conditioning. kept turning off. So It is probably worth spending more even twice as much at nicer place.

Was my first hostel experience so I don't have a lot to compare it to. My flight was delayed coming in so I called ahead to let Staff know I wouldn't make it by the 1 am check-in time, they made accommodations so I wasn't without a place to stay for the night. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to get to know their guests. Our room and common areas were kept clean. Outside areas are well lit. As a solo traveler it gave me an opportunity to meet a lot of great people and really added to my Vegas experience. Highly recommend.

A few friends and I stayed at the Hostel Cat over the weekend while visiting Vegas and loved loved LOVED our experience! The staff was great at explaining the check in/check out process and the layout of the facility. We were excited to see how much space our room had - we even could have had a larger group and still definitely would have fit comfortably. The central courtyard was a great spot to be in during the early morning sunrise. I’d highly recommend checking out Hostel Cat when in Vegas for a great place to stay! Special thanks to Spencer at the front desk for being awesome! 😊

Far warning: it houses tourists but also local people that are homeless. One of them personally told me. Compared to other hospitals I've been to around the world that just gives it a different energy. A bit gloomy or something. The pictures shown on google are not true to reality. They looked filtered and edited. The property is much older than it looks on photo and the common areas are cute but need an industrial cleaning. I did not cook here. My female dorm and the bathroom were fine but not exceptional. Great (plastic covered) mattress. You will sleep comfortably at least and the staff is very kind. Loud music turns on at 10 AM on the dot. Some people don't respect night time hours. They were people talking loudly after 2AM on the courtyard. Maybe that's normal for Vegas. I walked to the strip during the day and I'm in good shape but it's going to be far for a lot of you trust me and you don't want to walk here alone at night. Take an Uber. Overall though, doable but they could really level up. Upon check out I walked in on a random conversation where a girl (strong addict or homeless vibes) was having a monologue to the front desk about how a "guy's sperm stinks". I swear. He did nothing to stop the conversation once he saw me come in with my suitcase or to ask if I wanted to check out?! If you are running a business you will know when to stop someone mid conversation to avoid a car crash. He just let her talk as if he didn't want to interrupt her but she was being inappropriate. Period. So I stopped it myself. I told both of them assertively: "I'm sorry but that's a LOT for the morning!!! Can I check out please?" This was the final straw. I wouldn't come back here. Anyone in hospitality knows that one really bad experience can bring down the entire rating. I just changed mine from 3 stars to 1.

Why pay a decent price for a hotel room with privacy.. when you can pay the same amount and sleep with some stanky party travelers? Paid less with cash at other hostels? ...not here! It's kinda like a homeless shelter with the convenience of having to pay for it! Wow! Amazing! GREAT!

After being stranded in Las Vegas due to Spirit Airlines' delayed and canceled flights, I was left searching for affordable accommodations. Thankfully, a recommendation from family and friends led me to Hostel Cat, which proved to be an excellent option for my short stay. The accommodation was not only within my budget, but also clean and welcoming. One of the first things I noticed about Hostel Cat was the secure, gated square of cozy bungalows. The courtyard was well-maintained, nicely lit, with comfortable seating areas and barbecue grills. Inside the bungalows themselves, everything was clean and tidy, and the beds were more than adequate for my needs. While the air conditioning could have been a bit cooler, a personal fan definitely helped. As a solo traveler in the midst of a housing emergency, I found Hostel Cat to be the perfect solution. The proximity to the airport was an added bonus, and the ease of booking made the whole experience even better. If you find yourself in a similar situation in Las Vegas, I highly recommend giving Hostel Cat a try.

Very nice front desk but other than that, horrible experience. Why would another guest leave the door cracked open to let randoms in to use the restroom? Regardless if they're staying in the hostel, use your own restroom. No reason to have people coming in and out all damn night. Writing this at 4am because I left early. Horrible/disrespectful/rude guests stay here. Be aware

The facility grounds are subpar except for the outdoor common area. It seems to be peaceful and could be relaxing if not for the 42 degree weather. However, I was placed in the dorm with a mentally ill individual and denied relocation or refund. Additionally, because the other lady in the dorm with us was from out of state they allowed her to be relocated. The supposedly tv area can't comfortably fit more than five people, the kitchen is two stoves and a miniature microwave (to be used after nine). I'd never suggest this place to anyone or anything.

I opted for the six-bed female dormitory. The hostel provided the essentials for a budget stay: a place to sleep, shower, and store belongings. If you're merely seeking a spot to rest while exploring the city, this place fits the bill. One of the hostel's strengths is its affordability, which is a plus. Its location near Deuce transportation route makes it convenient, despite the presence of homeless individuals nearby. While this might raise safety concerns, the bustling surroundings lend a sense of security. Noise levels can be disruptive, especially when guests move around, and the air conditioning could use improvement. Nevertheless, I managed to sleep well with the aid of earplugs and appreciated the darkness of the room. While the service could be better and the cleanliness isn't top-notch, considering the price paid, the hostel offers decent comfort. Overall, if you're on a tight budget and prioritize convenience over luxury, this hostel serves its purpose adequately.

This was not a single 1 star for what it is. Think twice though. You room with strangers, and while the beds are plastic they hand you sheets wadded up in a pillow case. Our "window unit" was set to heater and CANNOT be changed. Also, the shower has never been cleaned so bring shoes if you want to shower. It was HOT as heck in there. I have asthma and that doesn't work. There are amenities and it's seems safe in the walls BUT outside the walls is NOT safe. Also, the front desk attendant is almost never there and if you do check in makeaure that the attendant gives your code to the gates and room ONLY on paper. Our attendant told the QHOLE room of strangers Our gate code and that made my very uncomfortable. We ended up getting a room on the strip later because this whole experience was just uncomfortable. I'm not sure how this has such good ratings, maybe my standards are too high.

This is by far the cutest place. It’s super clean and chic. The staff is amazing and attentive. The beds are clean, no stains no bed bugs .. they have private curtains and cute reading lamps. The floors are clean and the shower. The outside common area is safe and secure. This was an amazing stay. Thank you ! I’ll definitely be back.

Opted for a hotel instead after three nights. The rooms are dirty. The location sucks. It's pretty far from a bus stop and it's pretty desolate except for many homeless people. They not only allow but cater to local homeless people by allowing them to recieve mail here. Me and another girl amicably switched beds and when she let front desk know she came in freaking out saying we could get banned for this. Sorry but I rather swallow the money than sacrifice my dignity any longer and be treated like I'm staying in a prison or a homeless shelter.

Rooms and service are a bit lacking and dated. Service is just ok if I’m being honest. High marks for a good location, in terms of accessibility to the strip. The best thing about this place? The people. Friendly and interesting folks transiting through or setting up in vegas.

Great price! Has everything u need except toiletries. They provide you with towel, sheet set and blanket that u turn in at end. You get key to room with 6 beds with privacy curtains, a little reading lamp and electrical plug, lockers (bring lock) and a shared restroom. There’s a kitchen, laundry n inside/outside lounge areas with wifi. Don’t b in a hurry to check in, they have procedures and will take their time. Great choice for on a budget or want to socialize if ur solo. All types of people stay here. Just a little ghetto. Wish they would reinvest on upgrades on this place. They could do better.

Close to Transit. The "Arts District was a couple of blocks away. Left my car parked for 3 days ($5 a day parking fee).

Terrible. The showers are disgusting, the matress covers are ripped to shreds and the bedding they gave me didnt have a sheet and I had to ask for a pillow. There are no organized outings. Someone puked in the courtyard and no staff cleaned it up. There were also no cups or plates to make my own food.

I didn’t exactly spend a lot of time here during my trip to Vegas but it was nice to come back to a quiet room late at night. The nearby area gets pretty sketchy at night but the property is very secure, it’s nice there was a back entrance super close to the bus stop. The inner courtyard looked like a nice place to hang out. Overall a good place to stay super cheap while still being close to the strip.

Funky, friendly (guests and cleaning staff, definitely not management), and NICE air conditioned rooms with private bathrooms. Only have dorm rooms with multiple bunk beds (@$35/night, more Friday & Saturday), and private rooms you can share with your sweetie. Inside & outside communal kitchens. Huuuge outdoor semi covered courtyard, with multiple places to.relax or hang out with the other guests. Indoor hang out area as well with a dining area and TV/reading area. Although they accept cash, you MUST have not only a picture ID, but a valid credit or debit card WITH YOUR NAME ON IT. And... NO SECURITY DEPOSIT!! Even though it's in a challenging part of town, AND there's endless road construction out front, it's VERY safe here: locked gates/code needed. BEST SHORT TERM STAY PLACE in.the greater Las Vegas area... highly recommended!

Although the area is a bit shabby, the hostel is quite secure and locked down like a fortress. A password is needed to get to the guest area and a key for the room. They provide a towel and bed linen and the room is comfortable.

I stayed at Hostel Cat for a week to attend school. Although it is not on a great area, it was very welcoming and friendly. Ziggy and a few of the other staff and guests made me feel very welcome and comfortable. It gave respite from a messy sometimes cruel city. Thank you so much cat's

Truly an affordable gem not too far from the strip. At first it can be overwhelming checking into this hostel, but once you pass the gates and are enclosed within the property, you understand my so many people choose to stay here. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms include 3 bunk beds (6 beds in total), and all the roommates we had were nice and trustworthy. I would recommend 10/10 if you are visiting Las Vegas and don't care too much about the glitz and glamour of hotels on the strip. Hostel cat provides you with a community of people and a very reasonable price, and its not too far of a walk/bus from the main strip!

I stayed and payed in full for one night. 2 days later a hold appears on my card account for $40. When I inquire they apparently allowed another guest two days later to checkout using my bed slip that I turned in on checkout. This means that their staff allowed my information to leave from behind the desk and get into the hands of another person. They completely ignored this fact and instead blamed me for leaving the bed slip behind which is not the case. They apologized but took no responsibility for this problem that cost me time and money. The manager Jack was not helpful and said he refunded the money but the hold on my card was for 2 days and only when I called the bank to dispute this fraudulent transaction did they release my money. I would not trust your info with these unprofessional people. Stay at Sin City Hostel a block up the road and save yourself the trouble. Paulo

As an artist, I appreciate the colorful shack-like structure. It is very bare bones, to say the least. Bedsheets are threadworn and smelly. I arrived very late, but they were not chill at all. No one was there, so I had to spend my first night sitting outside the place. One messed up looking dude called me fat, but no one else messed with me because I look stronger than all them. A tourist from Australia tried to sleep in my bed once. I just slept in the hallway. My beans were stolen out of the pot too!

perfect stay for solo tavellers, but be careful, Las vegas public transportation is not so realiable as you may think. The common areas where nice and clean, the patio was beautiful the bbq area insane (would come back just for this). I feel that the dinning hall is a little bit small tho, but cozy.

Horrible. Tried to check in during the date that i'd booked for, but due to an error in their system, they had me down for a different check in date. Front desk staff person was not helpful at all and refused to escalate the case to management for immediate resolution. I did not receive my money back the same day; instead, I was asked to pay AGAIN for another night. Absolute joke of a hostel. Stay away from this place!!!! The 'good' reviews you see here are clearly fake..

I was pretty discouraged about this place when I read some negative reviews, but I stayed here for 3 nights and didn't encounter any problems. Be wary that it is located on a rather sketchy part of S Las Vegas Blvd (homeless activity, remodeling, and some folk on the street with an overall grim demeanor) but you only have to endure a 10~15 minute walk north on LV Blvd to the start of the Las Vegas Strip where it is safe, and about 20 minutes south of LV Blvd to reach the Fremont St Experience. Overall it's a good place to stay, especially for the price and the distance at which it takes to get to Vegas' greatest attractions. I would highly recommend for solo travelers such as myself!

Changing from 2 stars to 4 because the owner did a great job rectifying the situation. I would recommend for a cheap place to stay in Vegas. Facilities are well maintained and customer service is great. Must’ve been a bad day for me. I didn’t actually end up staying here but may consider again during my next trip to Vegas.

Not all the rooms were like the picture. 3 sides of the bunk bed were covered by walls, you have to climb in from one end and got bumped multiple times on your head or directly blown by 70°F nonadjustable air-con, though there were slightly more tolerable beds with no sheets no name tag other rooms almost empty, they don’t allow you to move. However, two guys were told to move to mine, a long term guest said the manager wanted to cut down cleanings keep the rooms full. The mattress wiggles as you turn, have to be pushed right against the wall to catch water in the tiny shower. Loud speakers playing repetitive tunes right outside the room doors. Small kitchen/corridor people go in and out of laundry, bathroom, office, not a surprise bump into a hot coffee or knife, directly blown by that sick dust covered air conditioning would be a concern for health. The sheets had lots of tiny little balls very uncomfortable, used ones were told to thrown into a trashcan-looking bin in the yard over flowing to the ground just like trash. I asked myself why should I appreciate the reception with tattoos on her neck swapping the reservation for me, New Orleans, Denver, San Francisco, etc, hostels had 24 hours reception, this is the best night life city Las Vegas, their reception was closed when I arrived, no after hour number to call, no self-check in instructions to my email, they were the ones should have done better to protect their guests’ reservation, why should I propose paying 2 extra days out of my appreciation and allow myself to suffer from all these?! “Icing on the cake” a day before my supposed check out another reception with medium long curly hair told me it was my day to check out, swap 8th to 9th plus 2 days, check out on 12th, but that first reception girl had put 11th in their system! I could understand misunderstanding, miscalculation, but she said she never told me she could swap the dates she told me the first night was charged as no show and she let me stay 2 more days cause I was agitated!!! I wasn’t able to find a motel to sleep till 3am my brain wasn’t calculating which day was which date, but staying half an hour+ outside your closed door in the middle of night, if you told me I was charged for that night when I wasn’t able to check in, I would have NOT to attempt any extension, directly go somewhere else, NOT to want to see your faces at all, just like what I did on the 11th after what I had been told, who’s gonna pay you to stay 2 more days? You wasn’t full by the time I checked in, if anyone was desperate to stay 2 more days she would have made a reservation directly online, but I DID NOT. If she wanted to stay no matter you agree to swap the reservation or not, she would have come directly with her luggage, but I DID NOT. Even your camera had no sound, how hard is it for you to see a girl came empty handed(no intention to check in) moving her arms from left to right (swapping dates), went from anxious to happy nodding her head ( to what the reception had agreed), then came back check in later with her luggage(after been confirmed )? “Brilliantly” when I got the permission from the assistant manager to check the camera after I packed, just to let them see what make sense to them, the reception guy said the footage only went up to 6th, not the more recent 8th and it wasn’t in another folder neither. Who’s gonna believe this? What a hostel of casual liars. No matter I enjoyed very much the previous Hostel Cat and the very cool and outgoing previous manager stayed multiple times, me and some other previous guests had to admit it wasn’t the same hostel anymore. Even I took my time wrote an email of over 1000 words about the issue and suggestions to the email on their website and manager’s email told by that female reception, I didn’t receive any feedback. Out of 8 years staying in hostels around the world, this bungalow hostel is definitely not a place I would suggest anyone to go to. After all it’s not just about where you would like to stay, it’s whom you would want to pay your money to.

I was the guy that really needed help and this crew was there for me. I am forever grateful and wish you all the best. Definitely a safe haven in the midst of tyranny.

I've been coming here for a little over 4 years now. This place is my goto whenever I am in town. Everyone's friendly. The place is clean and I've always felt safe there. I also love the renovations! ^_^

Great place in a pinch , located in the arts district which is near the end of the Deuce bus route. Keyana was welcoming and helpful. I truly appreciated their kindness after the rough day I had. I didn’t make much use of the amenities like the courtyard or common areas , but I checked them out and they were very well kept. I will definitely keep this spot in my back pocket for my next casual visit to Vegas !

This was such an amazing experience. I had never stayed at a hostel and after this experience I'd recommend to anyone. Super cheap and they had fun activities like a BBQ and pools set up. Karaoke one night as well. It's also super cool to meet other travelers and have a more community experience. The interior was really nice and clean. They cleaned daily as well. I thought sharing a room with strangers would be weird but we met some new friends that ended up hanging out with us and going clubbing. I will be staying again for sure and can't wait to visit other hostels.

Great experience lady at front desk is amazing I was stressed from travel and was not the most pleasant when we met and she was an absolute professional and cheered me up. Loved the experience, highly recommend

This hostel was extremely rude to me. I was checking in early for a friend (we had booked 5 months ahead) and her flight was delayed. They made me pay for my own bed and didn’t allow me to check into our reservation, though we had called ahead and talked to 3 different folks. Would not recommend. Ended up having to stay at a wedding chapel across the street. Staff was rude.

The management allows staff to say casually racist things to the guests. When confronted about this, Kat the manager said how proud she was of the staff member. If you like to be insulted in this way, then this is the hostel for you. Best to not talk to staff and keep to yourself.

If you want the party atmosphere hostel vibe experience this is the place for you! Where everyone is begging you for alcohol and cigarettes. They definitely should of kept their original name ‘HOSTEL CAT!’

Lovely staff over there. I felt myself at home. It is good located, very close to the strat and freemont. Beds are confortable and the yard is so beutiful. Perfect place to meet people and have fun.

Patrick & his employees were great host. This place was definitely worth every buck spent. You can’t beat it & it allowed me to actually get out and enjoy the city of Vegas unlike many of the hotels with casinos and shopping centers that keep you there. If you’re traveling alone this could save you a rack.

The staff at the hospital were very nice very friendly and very professional. The rooms were clean when I got there and they were clean after I left. As you can see from the picture they look like mini houses. My space had three bunk beds, 8 lockers and a nice-sized shower in the bathroom.

Super sweet hostel in a convenient location in Las Vegas. Common spaces are clean and inviting (there is a wonderful large private courtyard complete with an olive tree!), and the rooms are well-looked-after with comfortable beds that afford some privacy with curtains and individual lighting and outlets. The kitchen area is ample for cooking, there are three fridges for storing your food, and plenty of spots to sit and eat whether it's your own cooking or something you got delivered. The lounge and tv set up works well for being social as well as catching your favourite 80s flick or prize fight, and it all feels very securely safe with keypads for entry and a locked door to reception. Laundry is available on site, and there is parking too. Basically it has everything you need to have a budget-friendly stay in the city. All that said, the real gem of the Bungalows Hostel is their STAFF. Truly kind and helpful people who are happy to put in the effort to make things work out for the guests. I imagine it can be a position that tests patience at times, and I was met with (and only witnessed) the coolest, friendliest, and most down-to-earth interactions from everyone who worked there.

This ranks as one of the worst hostels I have stayed in, and I have visited dozens across the world. Bathrooms were not clean and bed linens not comfortable you get one pillow. I also had to pay $5 per night to park my car in the strip club lot next door, insane. The only redeeming quality is the courtyard has a good grill/hangout space. I will never return.

I had the best service with a nice young lady named Indigo. She was so nice and out of the way to bring me toilet paper to my room. Thanks for your service Indigo!!!

Hostel Cat is full of a friendly staff, nice clean rooms, great place to meet fellow backpack travelers that are free to be who they are. Great part of town right next to the art district.

Stayed here for a bit on and off while looking for housing in town. Awesome location right on Las Vegas Blvd about a 15 min walk to the stratosphere and 15 minute walk to Fremont, great, cheap food nearby, and very friendly folks working there. Thanks y’all.

Really cute space with a kind front desk staff! Very clean rooms, however the bed was essentially springs wrapped in a piece of cloth so sleeping was not the most comfortable. Would come back for an affordable, quick stay.

They have a few unprofessional staff and Numerous complaints filed w the General Manager about an an employee by the name Jeremy derogatory statements, violent remarks & harassing behavior. still 3 days later she stated she had not even been a employee conversation, concerning the behavior and statements that were made to a guest thats been there over a month. SMH Im not renewing and rather try an figure it out then stay at a place that literally doesnt give a **** about GUESTS.

I never stayed at a hostel before and this place was the cheapest in Vegas. It looked a bit sketchy from the outside BUT it was quite lovely on the inside. The lady at the counter was nice and gave me a bag of blankets and a towel as she showed me around. The room was clean and the courtyard was very pretty! I got lucky with sharing a room with 3 other women that were kind and no one stole anything. There were so many people there and everyone was friendly. I am a solo female traveler and I felt safe sleeping here. Each room also had their own private bathroom and the rooms were separated by gender. It was a two mile walk to the strip but the walk was not so bad and I felt safe walking at night alone. I would stay here again.

Ms Beverly and the Boys Mike, Devan, Cuba, Jeff, and Rudy here are great at what they do. Made me feel welcome and at home. The place itself has a great outdoor Lounging area with a grill if you want to bbq. A full kitchen inside of you want to cook yourself a home cooked meal. The rooms are kept clean daily and fresh linen and towels are provided if needed! I do security work in town and I’d personally stand up for this place incase anyone tries to trespass or do anything to harm the staff and the residents here. It’s affordable even while every where in town and their prices are sky rocketing. I’d stay here anytime I’d want to get away from the craziness that goes on here in Vegas. I Love it here at Bungalows Hostel
