Pros: it's a quiet and possibly romantic. Cons: this place was on the more expensive side, and the food didn't taste that great for the price paid. I had ordered prime rib but they ran out of prime rib and I had to reorder. The waitress never even asked if we wanted anything to drink until we asked. The waiter that fills your water glass was seen eating and chewing as he walked around on multiple occasions. Maybe these were just one time things, but one time seeing them was enough for us.

We have eaten at this restaurant 4 times in the last 3 months. It gets better every time we go. The notion that this restaurant serves "FROZEN SALAD GREENS" is absolutely preposterous. Where on this planet have you EVER seen FROZEN salad greens? That doesn't even make any sense!? Yes, the restaurant has dim lighting, as it has fabulous romantic ambiance. The service has always been stellar, and the food is some of the best we have had in Las Vegas. The prime rib is amazing (better than Binion's), the rib eye is fabulous, Mongolian rack of lamb was superb, and the filet and lobster special is spectacular. If you are in a pinch for a budget meal, the t-bone steak, can't be beat. As I said, we have eaten here 4 times in 2 trips and have yet to have a poorly cooked or fatty steak. I can't recommend Second Street Grill enough, it is a true hidden gem Downtown, and you won't be disappointed.

Wow! Who would have known that a little place in the old Fremont Hotel would have the best Bartender in Vegas, the best service and the best food I've ever had. Wow!!! The Shanghai Duck was out of this world. Forget the strip and make your way to Second Street Grill.

We were greeted by Jesus and served but Pam. Service and food were outstanding and a must go to for dinner. The surprise for the night? The salad dressing. It was beyond suberb. Relaxing after the dinner is encouraged!

This place is always solid. If you like crab, order the King Crab legs and be prepared to be full. If you're dining with someone, it would be a good idea for them to order a steak and share so you both get surf and turf. I also like the pictured Misoyaki Butterfish with Bok Choy (Sorry, I'm definitely not a food photographer!). They also have healthy Martini pours 👍🍸

I came here to meet some friends to eat they were already done eating when I arrive their server went on break and there was another server named Ken and he actually told us that he couldn't serve or help us because he was busy and we had to wait and he walked away so that's not how you're supposed to serve people at a restaurant and I'm very disappointed and I only wanted coffee and french toast and he never asks you just walked away

OH MY GOODNESS! This place was amazing! Originally we went to Tony Romas but there was a long wait time. As we were walking out the casino we spot this door that turned out to be a very fancy feeling restaurant with servers with elegant characters. So professional and very attentive to their customers. The tables were beautifully set and the lighting gave off a romantic tone. We received the house salad, very fresh and crisped, before we had our crab cakes for appetizers which had the best sauce I have tasted for crab cakes. I must say what left us speechless was the main course. We ordered the rib eye New York steak and it was DELICIOUS! Such a tender, thick 16oz steak laying on a bed of mash potatoes, black beans and very thin sliced onion rings. Definitely returning on our next visit to Vegas

Good food. Nice to have a late breakfast after 12Noon. Service was OK. We had to ask and then found out we needed to pay at the front counter. Would go again.

Amazing service and atmosphere. The waiter Tony is incredibly professional but also manages not to feel stuffy or distant. Drinks were kept full and food was served hot. It's a pricey place, but the entree servings are very generous. My girlfriend got the Sizzling spinach salad, which was loaded with bacon and red onion and was enough food to serve as a whole meal for her. I got the Thai Cioppino, which was had a solid amount of seafood in it. I have also gotten the lamb rack in the past, which is outstanding.

Save your money, no way in hell this place got a 4.4 rating. Slow service and bad food. Don’t order fish here for sure.

Utterly Fantastic! Stepping into this hidden door instantly transports you to the Vegas that time has forgotten. Sitting here you think of people like Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack. World renowned service, extensive wine and drink list, and gourmet cuisine. Here the champagne flows and the money rolls. True old time Las Vegas hospitality. Reservations are not mandatory but I highly recommend that as this restaurant is small as it should be; keeping it intimate.

Server told me she was going to have security remove us if my autistic son didnt behave to her liking. As if life was not difficult enough for us to navigate on the daily.

The restaurant is located in the Fremont Hotel/casino and offers a variety of Hawaiian influenced entres and appetizers. The Second Street was recommended as a great steak place and did not disappoint. Service is attentive while being understated and the food was excellent with huge portions.
