Went for our 1 year anniversary dinner. And would go again in a heartbeat!! You know it's special when they've been in business for over 20 years with no advertising. It's all word of mouth. This place was an absolutely great experience. From the moment you walk into the restaurant it takes you by surprise. You don't see anyone. It through me off but then the experience began. I won't spoil it cause it's something you have to witness in person. Food was phenomenal! Portions more than fair for the price. Everything is made fresh from the bread to the sauce. You can tell by the taste. Definitely try th meatballs. You'll regret it if you don't. Service was first class and so was the entertainment. And! It's not on the strip.😯 I highly recommend it to all Italian food lovers especially if you are wanting a special dining experience. Trust me you don't wanna miss out on one of the best kept secrets in all of Vegas. This is coming from a fat guy so you know I'm telling the truth when it comes to food. Thanks to the our Waiter Big Al and the bartender (totally ashamed for forgetting his name) for taking care of us. Cheers to y'all! - The Grizzlies

This is a must go place to eat if you are visiting Las Vegas. My boyfriend and I went here for his birthday dinner. When you walk inside the restaurant will be hidden. There is a doorbell to ring and a gentleman will greet you at the window. We told the gentleman we had a reservation at 8pm. He said he will have to check if a table will be ready and might be a wait. A minute later he opened the door and guided us to the table right in front of the singer. I felt like we were in the Goodfellas restaurant scene. They were playing the movie on the TV above the bar. The atmosphere was amazing. The restaurant was dark but you can still infront of you and around you. Little lamps and candles on the table and dim lights around you. We had many servers taking care of us. One to take our drinks, another to give us bread. Someone who took our food orders and different person that delivered it. Also the staff was well dressed. The food was perfect. And a great portion too. Everything was flavorful, hot and fresh. I really enjoyed my Penne vodka. The singer was very talented and amazing. After her singing rolling in the deep in a jazzy way, she came to our table and greeted us. Told us her name, and asks for ours. It was beyond amazing to have that one on one interaction. Her voice was like a angel. I forgot her name but hands down she was amazing. Overall, I would definitely recommend experiencing this yourself. Delicious food, amazing back in the day atmosphere and live music.

If you are looking for a dark and authentic old time Italian place, complete with secret security door, live lounge lizard singers, then add delicious foods, expectable service, you found the place. Best is it's a ways off the strip, which makes the taxi ride fun. The whole experience was great 👍

Capos is AMAZING!!! Highly recommend this unique, sexy, intimate, step back in time, speakeasy restaurant. It's worth twice the drive from The Strip and I'll never visit Vegas without dinner at Capos. First, make reservations! This spot is hot, for locals and tourists. Come hungry! The food is EVERYTHING!!! We ordered the lasagna, spaghetti, arugula salad and lobster ravioli (the special). For cocktails, we had martinis and old fashioneds. Everything was perfect! I really wish we had dessert! Next time, for sure!! The service, amazing! The staff is very attentive from the moment we sat at our table which was right next to the stage. We dined enjoying the fantastic live music throughout our dinner. Before leaving, I stopped to snap a few pictures to capture the ambiance. 2 managers approached and introduced themselves which was very nice. They genuinely were interested to know if we enjoyed our experience which I appreciated so much. Looking forward to our next meal at Capos!! Don't miss this spot if you're in Vegas!!!

I am torn on this review. If you want American Italian food this is a good place. If you want real Italian this is not your jam for food. The experience was interesting and made up for the disappointment in the food. All the appetizers where good. The Meatballs are as good as they say, I would come back just for the meatballs. They are truly some of the best I have had. Fired ravioli was also fun and would get again. The others ended up being good but not amazing. The music was amazing and worth the visit, even had a extra show. Stuff was friendly when they should have been and our group had a good time. If you love sauce, cheese and care less about citrus in a dish this is your place. Would I go back, yes. But this time I know what I am getting going in.

The chicken was too burnt and bland, which made it taste worse. Although the other foods were tastier, it wasn't too bad, so I enjoyed eating them. And, the service and music in the restaurant were so good for how well-made they were. I would say it was a fabulous experience to try because of the amazing qualities.

The minute we walked in we knew it was gonna be an amazing experience! Our waitress Sara was great, and the food was incredible!! We had to try their famous meatballs=🔥, and the Chick Marsala was probably the best I've ever had!! Do yourself a solid and go eat here! TJ-Approved!

A couple of years ago we came here on our trip to Las vegas, because a friend invited us to join them. We loved the food, but even more than that the experience was memorable. We saw the episode of Bar Rescue and thought, we wanted to share the Capos experience with our kids. Capo's did not disappoint! From the great door service to the Phenomenal wait service we received from Francisco, and I think the food was even better than the visit... I was even able to meet one of Capo's legendary owners Dominic who was equally hospitable. I highly recommend visiting this establishment and live the experience of a prohibition speakeasy!

I would give this place a 6. It was so unexpectedly great. We brought out of town guests and they really felt the Las Vegas experience.

This is a Chicago mob themed Italian restaurant. You enter into a dark room where you're lead into the speakeasy bar area where you hear a gentleman singing.  The area is so dark that I had to use a flashlight to find my way to my table.  This restaurant isn't suitable for anyone who uses a wheelchair because there's a minimal amount of manuerving. The restaurant area consists of small round tables meant for couples. For larger parties, these tables are put together into a cluster which makes  conversations difficult. However, this is a perfect place for couples.  Every person has to order an entree;  pasta, sauces and sausages are made on premise; portions are generous; service is excellent; staff is friendly and welcoming. Tiramisu is out of this world. You need to try it. A perfect way to end a meal.

Learned about them from the Bar Rescue show and wanted to try it out. Defiantly did not disappoint. The theme is executed perfectly from decor to staff interaction. The food was amazing. They had live music when we where there that was perfect for the atmosphere. Music was a little loud if you sit in the middle of the restraunt. We where on the side by the bar so it was fine for us.

First time here & wow what a great restaurant. From the host, to our server, to the food runner, the singer, to the owner- every single person who worked there made us feel like we were in their home. Super friendly and accomodating. Plus the food was amazing!! Meatballs, lasagna and ribeye was all perfect! We enjoyed listening to an evening of Sinatra songs from the singer, who even sang to us! Best part of our trip to Vegas yet! We may even go back tonight!!

Pretty unique experience at this establishment. Big mafia vibes with a very dark and relaxing atmosphere. Wonderful music and singing in the background and of course the food was extremely good. Honestly, probably the best Italian cuisine I’ve ever had.

The Outside does not have a nice appearance but once you enter it takes you to a different world the experience of entering a old era. It’s nice, fancy, and elegant the Atmosphere is great they have Good Music, good service and good food. They’re know for their meatballs is two huge meatballs with a great sauce. The lasagna is super good as well meaty, saucy, and huge. Chicken Luchese is breaded with cheese mushrooms banging and the Mad Dog Marsala with Risotto is off the hook and don’t forget to order Garlic Cheese Bread it’s $19.99 a bit pricey but it’s worth it. It’s off the strip and Reserve your table before time.

We had a party of 9 and we were very well taken care of by the staff. It was a great experience. The only issue I had was my filet mignon was a bit touch and flavorless and the shrimp was rubbery. Everyone else had great steaks and duck. My meal was not the norm for our group.

Such an awesome restaurant! The food and drinks were excellent! I love margaritas and I love them with cherries. Usually when I order a Margarita in any restaurant, I get a weird look. But Capo’s puts cherries in their Margaritas! It was the best Margarita I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot! The decor and ambiance are so cool!

The entrance to Capo’s is great! It’s a fun experience. The lighting is generally dark, but it’s a very nice atmosphere. The ‘lounge’ style music is very nice. Ordered the meatballs and it is a must. I was highly displeased with the service I received. My table ordered a chicken parm and lasagna. They didn’t put our order in and multiple parties arriving after me finished eating and left before I even got my food. When I finally got the food, the chicken Parm was cold and over cooked. The lasagna was over salty in my opinion. I would go for the experience alone, but I wouldn’t go for the food. Just a fun night out.

In Vegas we have never eaten off the strip so we were a little nervous but this place was great! Tommy and the rest of the team made it such a fun place. Live music was so good! Magician that came around to our table was fun. Highly recommend 10/10!

Loved the secret entrance, and dim candlelit atmosphere. They have a live singer with a beautiful voice. Steaks were a little overdone, I suggest ordering rare for a medium rare result. Otherwise, food was fantastic. 4 of us ate here for about $511, including tip. We ordered an appetizer, soups/salads, entrees, and dessert. Service was top notch. Reservation required.

Had a great time for my birthday. When we were seated I felt like I was in Goodfellas and they were making a table just for us in the front. Food was good, portions were big, service was excellent. The only thing I can say negative is the prices have gone up so much

What a fun evening!!! Dining at Capo’s is an experience!! It starts with knocking to enter at the secret entrance. The interior is themed as a speakeasy and is dark and full of delicious aromas and live music. The food is outstanding and the service is even better.

Ambience is outstanding. Food is phenomenal. Service was top notch! Got the meatballs to start - they no longer serve bread (thank you COVID, the gift that keeps on giving) - highly recommend getting the cheesey garlic bread to accompany the meatballs, for there is a TON of their "Family Sauce" (which is fantastic!). Wine selection is off the hook - outstanding recommendation on the Chianti! For the main, for the Veal Parmesan - also had the "Family Sauce", and their homemade pasta was to die for. The exit is NOT the entrance - ask when you wanna leave 😁. Outstanding! Password to get in: "Tony Two-Toes sent me".

Cool place, great food, amazing service. Singing and piano in the background. Fun speak easy vibe with good food. The real star was the bartender Lisa. She rocked. Great old fashioned and intelligent conversation. The crew fit the vibe from the doorman to the bussers. Try the sirloin steak med rare with the mushroom risotto and veggies. Lisa's pick! Fantastic!

Overall, Capo's Restaurant is a popular destination for those looking for a unique dining experience in Las Vegas, with a focus on classic Italian-American cuisine and a fun, immersive atmosphere. The menu at Capo's features classic Italian-American dishes such as spaghetti and meatballs, chicken parmigiana, and veal marsala. In addition to its dinner menu, the restaurant also offers a happy hour menu and live entertainment in the evenings. Capo's is also known for its "Family Style" dining experience, where large portions of food are served to be shared amongst the diners. The restaurant's decor is designed to resemble a 1920s-style Chicago speakeasy, complete with dark wood paneling, vintage photos, and old-fashioned cocktails.

No exaggerating, by far the best Italian food I've ever had. The atmosphere is perfect: dark; loud; crowded; live music. The service is incredible! And the food!! Oh my goodness, the food. Lasagna is 5 stars, pesto is 5 stars, meatballs are 5 stars, creme brulee is 5 stars, and the cheesecake is the best I've ever had. The only thing I didn't just LOVE was the chicken Marsala; it was good but not sensational, and very runny. But I would recommend Capo's to anyone, anytime. Sorry the pictures suck because it's very dark and I was under a reddish light.

Would give more stars if I could - I fell in love with this place! It was recommended to me by a friend - I went in a group of 4 - the general manager really came through for us when we showed up later than expected - close to closing time - he let us in and made sure we got the FULL experience! He let us pick our table - we got the best view in the house! The atmosphere is very intimate. There was a smooth cabaret singer - Bobby - he was amazing - Stayed late with us and came to our table and sang to us. The server was great - prompt and made menu suggestions and was very personable. The food GAVE WHAT IT NEEDED TO GIVE!! It was 12/10 for sure. Very high quality, delicious dishes and appetizers. Capo’s is one of those places that you HAVE to stop at when you’re in Vegas. Its definitely a place I plan to visit again and again!

This place is top notch! Do not let the fact that’s it’s not on the strip fool you. This place was such a wonderful experience for our 7 party group! From start to finish, this speakeasy and restaurant surpassed all expectations. Fantastic food (recommend the lasagna), absolutely great service from our waiter Jeremy who went above and beyond to make it a great night, and fabulous entertainment (live singers and a female magician who wowed the table with a few quick tricks). Loved it!

A bit of a let down. Arriving there it seems nothing special as its just a typical strip mall. They do have a fun secret entrance to get into the place and the staff is super friendly, or mob friendly anyway lol. But the rest of the experience wasn't so great. It was so dark in the place that everyone had to get their phone lights out just to read the menu, therefore there wasn't much of an atmosphere because everything was so dark. Our party ordered almost one of every appetizer and I order the surf and turf and sadly I have nothing positive to say about any of it. The kitchen was so smokey from their grill that EVERYTHING tasted like dirty smoke. I didn't take more than one bite of anything we ordered. Very disappointing.

10/10/10/10/10 would rate higher but no option. From the moment you step up, they greet you like you’re back in the Goodfellas days. Truly a fun and cute date night experience. Got a table in the back with a great view of the stage. Was immediately greeted and got our food in within 10 minutes of sitting down which is amazing in my opinion. Ordered the meatballs which is a MUST. As they are known for it. We followed up with some cutlets and arabica pasta with added meatballs. Good food, the meatballs and bread is personally come back for. Truly a good experience!

This place is a gem that I take all my family and friends to while in town. I will ONLY take my loved ones to establishments where I know the service will be top notch. Jeremy the bartender, awesome personality and a great guy to take shots with. Chicago Tommy is hilarious and makes the experience. My only qualm is he's from Chicago and likes the Cub's. GO CARDS GO! After saying all of this, I'm not a fan of the menu. I always have trouble finding something I REALLY want. The atmosphere and service are excellent tho.

Food was awesome. The experience is great. The speakeasy gimmick was really great and funny because of the way we had to enter. Will definitely come back again with friends and family.

We decided to try Capo's out and so glad we did! First I have to give shout out to Tommy, this guy is amazing and our first interaction was on the phone at 0830 when I called the number online to make reservation for same night. Our conversation was hilarious. Now on to dinner... the atmosphere was amazing and staff was the same! Ben was a great server and took care of us very well. We had lasagna and spaghetti w/ meatball and both were amazing. Wife had a mock tail and I had couple Ole fashions which were great. The music was amazing and we sat in a front row table. If your looking for a non stuffy/bougie place to relax and enjoy a great meal, look no further then Capo's. We will be back for sure!

My bestfriend and I came here to celebrate our birthdays. I've been wanting to check this place out for a while. I wouldn't recommend for a birthday specifically, but if you just want to try a new place. It's ok. To be honest though, I don't think I'll be back.

Great martinis. Nice atmosphere, good service. Food was good, not the greatest but overall good. Service was super fast. Felt a little rushed, for the amount of money spent there, did not get to enjoy the ambience.

I truly enjoyed the food here & the staff in character! This current take on an 'ol-speakeasy was really ruin and engaging! Our meals were spectacular!! The only thing I wish was different was we were seated near the stage and the lounge singer guy was so loud we couldn't have a conversation with others in our party. I would definitely go back, however I would insist on being seated far away from the live music.

I was in town for a while. Wanted to have dinner for someone and I found this Italian restaurant. Reviews looked good. So I went.... it had a theme or a old gangsta hangout. Quiet speakeasy. I love the role play when we entered. The place is unbelievable DARK! Everyone has to use their phone to see the menu. Mind u our reservation was 6pm and had a show at 8pm. The food took TERRIBLY long to get to the table. My mother took a fork full of her food and DISLIKED it immediately. We sent it back to the kitchen. Our waiter was missing in action most of the nignt. One highlight of the restaurant was the cover club singer. Love that aspect of the restaurant he kept the tone of the theme. I wasnt explained that the meat sauce option would cost more it just showed up on the bill. I won't be back.

Amazing food in an awesome little setting with old italian mob joint feels. Meatball salad was incredible. Live entertainment. Great speakeasy type entrance. Will be returning for sure!

Food was great. But ther wine was horrible and they didn't offer a test taste before serving it and it was 15.00 a glass. Tasted like cheap house wine... but other than that I would go here again I loved the setting but I won't tell you have to see it for yourself. Very cool!!

  • 3/5 Niki F. 1 year ago on Google
My friends like their food but the dishes didn't look good. But hey... they ate it all lol. I got the Cioppino Fra Diavolo and my fiancee got the Lasagna. I'm known to get the seafood pasta everytime I get the chance eat it and it was the worse I ever had. It wasn't very flavorful and it was too creamy. Most of the time these dish is made of white wine with butter or some sort of red sauce. Lasagna wasn't good or bad, but very meaty. I didn't finish my plate and help ate my hubs his food lol. I wasn't impressed in their signature drink Woodford Old Fashion. It just didn't go smooth and it just looked sloppy. It was as good as if I ordered it from a cocktail server on a casino floor. I did like the ambience and the vibe, but it was a tad too dark. I really enjoyed how the staff treated us. Very nice and friendly. I give the service a 5 ⭐. I might come back and if I do, I will try a different dish.
