Whatever you do, don't stay here!!! During my stay, my vehicle window got smashed open and few kids things, toys taken from. Hearing this is not the first time this has occurred, they dont have cameras or security patrolling. Not one staff member showed any sympathy at all. No way offered to offer to do anything for me. All the mention signs stating not responsible. Horrible for a 3 star!!! Manager says hiring security is too expensive. For how much they charge? Horrible staff. Horrible everything. Don't stay here only if you want to get your vehicle broken into. Such a careless attitude. Seems like they are running a criminal enterprise. They should get investigated. Who else would know the don't have security nor cameras and not trying to do anything about it.

I was hesitant to stay here as a single traveler because of some of the reviews I had read. This place is a little older, but very clean. The front desk service was excellent; very helpful and friendly. I stayed in a room with one king bed and it was spacious and clean with a small refrigerator, sofa, separate bath. The room is a little on the older side but in no way was it dirty. The hallways smelled very clean...like fresh air and sanitizer. The common areas are very well kept. All in all I was very comfortable and felt safe. As for the location, this place borders Summerlin (very nice) and North Vegas (can be scary). There are so many food options and shopping centers nearby. Very busy area. I would definitely stay here again.

I went to place needing a place to stay again while waiting for my new home to be ready. I choose the suite with the King size bed, and sleeper sofa. Immediately I knew the stay wasn't going to be good. The bathroom was dirty with mold on the bathroom shower fixtures, carpeting had several stains, the mattress in the sofa bed was stained and falling apart. To be fair the staff addressed everything except for stains in the carpeting. The hotel is short staffed, band doing the best they can, but the room was not ready to have guests stay in it. I hope they will do better because the setup of the suite wasn't bad.

Staff was very accommodating and friendly during my stay. Courtyard is beautiful. Everything is clean and welcoming feeling. They really went above and beyond for me. I had surgery while in town and wouldn't rather recover anywhere else. I will be back.

Stayed 3 nights 12/2023. Front Desk Kim was terrific and accommodating! She gets 5/5. Public areas were clean and inviting. 5/5. No restaurant. There are chips, water, candy you can buy, but a gas station convenience store has a bigger selection. 0/5. Rooms clean. 5/5. Rooms well worn. Desk lamp missing cap. No updates since this was a Marriott Courtyard 3 yrs ago. 1/5. No balcony chairs since this was a Marriott Courtyard. 0/5. Room smelled from marijuana. 0/5. Location is good, but it is not in Summerlin. 3/5. All in all, you're paying Marriott prices and getting Super 8 quality. This Sonesta Select is not up to par with other Sonesta Select properties I've stayed at.

Rooms were nice coffee was great, but there was an incident. We even parked our car underneath the room, we were saying, and our rental car got broken into. They stole everything and I agree my bad for having my wallet in the car . But they have no cameras, protecting anything but there is security. We were not the only car broken into that night. I would not expect security to fight down. Whatever the hell went down that night. But there's nothing they can do to help us. They cannot provide any help with the police to find the person that did all this. I guess said nice hotel, but beware. And bring all your stuff with you.

Had a balcony in some rooms. Mini fridge, mini microwave, and mini coffee maker. Beds where clean and comfortable. Floor or carpet was dirty. Pool and hot tub clean and working. Prices better than most. Place was full by the evening. I would stay there again.

Standard rooms are very clean, very nice and Spacious, with very comfortable beds. Rooms are accommodating by having a coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge. I slept like a baby. Hotel is pet friendly with treat bowl in the lobby! Clean pool. And open business center. This Hotel also has a small convenience store open 24/7 that sells snacks, sodas, juices, microwavable foods, and pet supplies. It was a wonderful stay.

Sonesta is the new motel 6 / Super 8. Terrible place. Use to stay there but this hotel is going downhill at a rapid pace. Rooms are dirty, not providing basic room cleaning. Itโ€™s located in an unsafe area, they charge you for parking but donโ€™t provide any security. For the same price, you can find a much nicer hotel that will provide breakfast and wonโ€™t charge you for parking.

When we booked, the hotel advertised having a restaurant, when we checked in we asked about the restaurant and were returned with a blank stare and "restaurant? we don't have a restaurant." mind you, there is a restaurant space right across from the receptionist desk AND there is a tv in the lobby playing a slideshow of the perks of the hotel with a whole slide dedicated to this phantom restaurant. We were here for almost 4 days and it was not operational at all. Very disappointed and dissatisfied as it was part of the reason we booked here. I see it as false advertising, and am questioning why we payed full price for a hotel that didn't have all the amenities it boasted. Upon arrival we also asked about pull away beds because the booking website said they had them, the receptionist confirmed that they did have them and they were available, but apparently we just couldn't have one. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean, but the pool was only 5 feet deep. The room was okay, it was clean and we were given extra towels, but the coffee maker was missing a piece so we couldn't even make coffee during our stay, had to go out and get some every morning. We did not receive any cleaning services for our four days. The location was nice, it was a lot more chill than the strip area, there were a lot of food options nearby, and it was a quick drive to all LV attractions.

Hey hey hey, this is the place to stay. Comfortable, safe and spacious in the king room, it was the right place for the right price. While they didn't have breakfast, they did have free coffee in the morning and that was fine with me as we were going out. We weren't around long enough to enjoy the pool but it looked ok, I suppose? Pretty bland but whatever, that's not why we chose this hotel. You are close to a freeway and not far from plenty of food. If you're staying off the strip, this place is fine.

A great dog friendly hotel if you are looking for a relaxing stay away from the strip. Daniel was working the front desk and he was awesome! His customer service is amazing and I would recommend that he be promoted ASAP! We had bikes and stand up paddle boards locked on our truck and we were nervous because we saw a shady looking encampment in the area behind the hotel wall, but we woke up to no problems at all.

I've stayed at this location a total of 4/5 times thru out the last 5 years. It use to be a Marriott Courtyard. When I tell you this was the worst stay I've ever had at a hotel!!!! Stayed a total of 4 nights this time. NO TOWELS, really!! What hotel tells their guest we have no towels?(This One) I felt bad for the man who had to tell us that, he was so embarrassed. No hand soap, room cleaning is only every 4/7 days of your staying at the hotel, but put your trash out by your door and someone will come pick it up...WTH! I had to go buy towels and hand soap. I have to find another go to hotel cause this will no longer be the hotel. Staff is okay, but there are a few who need to work on their customer service skill.

YALL NEED TO STEAM CLEAN YOUR CARPETS OR REPLACE WITH OTHER VINYL TYPE FLOORING! Literally over 10 reviews have mentioned the dirty floors. I am disappointed in people who donโ€™t clean up after their dogs, yes, but they should be charged for not doing so. You canโ€™t charge them if the floor is already dirty af. Also my room #127 bathroom smelled of sewage and since I arrived super late Iโ€™m the evening I had no choice but to clean the entire bathroom instead of switching rooms bc they had no other ones. For 4 nights in Sept 2023 I paid $600. After all the cleaning I had to do, sheets I had to buy to cover the nasty floors and the food I wasted bc it said there is a fridge but itโ€™s the tiniest one you can buy so I had more food than I could fit, I am quite disappointed.

AMAZING customer service! I had been brought by the United States Army for schooling and had such difficulty trying to find a hotel to stay at for 26 days. After booking a reservation with Sonesta, I had nothing less but a great experience at this location. The front desk employee, Jared O'Leary was super nice and overall had the best attitude at work. All the staff members were friendly and handled any requests like cleaning, maintenance, etc. in a timely manner. I was given a king size bed with a balcony and it was awesome, super quiet and very cozy especially for the amount of days I had been living there. I would definitely recommend this location and stay there again!

Front desk was helpful and rooms were very clean. The only thing was that it was so hot in the elevators and in the lobby. But besides that it was nice.

I came in from Chicago and arrived at the Sonesta tired and weary from travel. While waiting to check-in, I noted that the person at the desk was very kind and patient (even with a cranky and difficult guest who he was tending to). When it was my turn at the desk, Tyrone went above and beyond to expedite check-in for me. I gave a 4 star instead of 5 because I think the housekeeping could be improved but overall it was still clean and comfortable. Thanks Sonesta for a great stay away from home.

We were traveling to Vegas for a Christmas/New Years trip. Due to the snow, our trip got delayed a day so we arrived a day after our intended check in date. The hotel had CANCELLED our reservation due to this. They claimed this is their policy for a no show guest. I completely understand why a policy like this would be in place. However, we had pre-paid our stay and there was no mention of this policy anywhere on the booking page (I re-read all the fine print to double check). Given the holiday season and extreme weather conditions associated with this time of year, I would assume the hotel be more understanding. They then told us we would need to create a new reservation and, no, they couldn't apply the funds of our pre-paid reservation to our new one. The guy kept saying how incredibly expensive the rooms had become and was trying to get a hold of his supervisor to try and cut us a deal. I told him I wasn't repaying for a hotel I already paid for and left. Luckily, the booking site gave us a refund with no issues. I will never be staying here again, though. Not worth the trouble.

    1. Had to use the bathroom after checking in, lift the toilet seat up and visible stains present. Awful. So was maid services skipped prior to me checking in? (Me, my wife, and 2 year old boy). 2. No WiFi in room. Called front desk, was directed to 800 number on a plaque near TV in room. Had to spend 1 hour with IT support (I did this, not hotel staff) on first day. 30 more minutes the following morning. Had to leave for the day, it was resolved when I returned later that night. 3. Checked-In on a Wednesday. Checked-out on Saturday morning. No maid services was ever done throughout my stay although I called and inquired about it on Thursday AND Friday. Was only given towels and toilet paper which I had to go down to front desk to retrieve. 4. Sonesta website states that free breakfast with room. Later found out from front desk that breakfast service had bee unavailable for 2 years. Thanks for not updating the website when I checked in. The above information was my experience over Thanksgiving holiday visiting family. This is the first time I've ever taken the time to post a review for anything. I did not set out to bad mouth or sugar coat based on my bad experience. All are facts so that the reader can formulate their opinion.

Not a bad hotel. Staff are sociable and nice. There was a weird stain on my bed that I probably should've gotten looked into, but it was only for one night so I didn't think it was worth making a big deal over.

Stayed at this hotel for a week. Itโ€™s nicely located near tons of nearby restaurants and shopping. Our favorite part is there is a huge dog park nearby. Weโ€™ve stayed here for 6 days and they said theyโ€™d clean the room on the 4th day but they never came to change the room ever. The hotel room is pretty gross tbh. We bought slippers to walk around in because the carpets are disgusting. We booked the room on VRBO and were expecting an apt/condo. The posting on the mobile website does not mention it will be a motel. I wouldnโ€™t recommend this place to others just from the sheer dirtiness of the hotel.

Fairly nice place to stay. We chose a hotel that had a breakfast option and when arrived we asked them what times it was. They said oh out kitchen is out of service right now. Nowhere did it state that the breakfast was not in operation at this time. If we would of know that we would have gone somewhere else. They also did not mention that they would give a discount since that is not an option. Not a happy customer. Update- Not very satisfied with the response. They did nothing to remedy it at all. Advertised as having breakfast and no notification that it was closed until we got there. Would go elsewhere. Will not be back to this place next time. Family moved to Vegas so we will be visiting frequently but not this hotel.

It was our first time in Vegas and we didnโ€™t know to book on the strip. We ended up canceling our second night here and they were able to give me a refund. The front desk is very helpful and nice! Thank you!

This is absolutely NOT a 3 star hotel. This a run down, poorly cleaned and maintained motel. Stained carpets and furnishings. Dirty fridge and microwave. In fact, the fridge has spilled contents from the previous guest. Dresser/ tv stand and table are stained and chipping. Skip this place. Staff is nice, however, is a run down motel.

I was only in town because my mom was in the hospice facility down the street. I looked up hotels in the vicinity, and this one was the cheapest one. When I drove to the hotel around 8 pm, I could see that it was in a sketchy area. The sun wasn't all the way down, so it wasn't completely dark outside, but when I walked into the lobby, it was super dark, and there was no clerk at the desk. I waited, and a clerk came out of the shadows to help me. I realized that there was a group of men sitting in the dark, and that is where the clerk came from. When I say dark, I mean not just dimmed lights. I mean DARK where I could only make out silhouettes of the men. When I got to my room, there were men hanging out in the hallway, and my key didn't work. Yikes! I went back to the dark lobby where the clerk was still hanging out with the group of men in the dark. He came back to the counter and made me a new key. At this point, I felt so unsafe. I was by myself, and the clerk hanging out with his buddies in the dark was so unprofessional and sent up warning bells and red flags up my spine. I mean, how do I know if he was telling them my room number or making them a spare key to come into my room in the middle of the night? I'm by myself with no friends or family nearby. I was on the first floor facing the empty side parking lot. They could do whatever they wanted with me and send me out the window. Anyhow, my second key worked, but I only stayed in the room for 5 minutes, and I ran out of there. My gut told me to get the heck out, so I listened to it. I ended up staying at the hospice facility with my mom after that. Never have I ever stayed in a hotel that made me feel so unsafe and scared where my imagination ran wild with horrible scenarios. The following weekend, I stayed at a Best Western and got to the lobby at MIDNIGHT. Guess what? The lobby was well lit, and the clerk was behind the desk waiting to help, not chilling with his homies in the shadows. Aside from that, during the 5 minutes I was there, I could see that the room was clean but small. I would recommend spending a little more money and staying in a more professional environment.

I would not recommend this place if youโ€™re going to stay somewhere off the strip. I thought being in Summerlin this would be a decent place, but it was disgusting. The room smelled of old/stale cigarette smoke, the elevator was broken with an old paper sign stating itโ€™s broken, indicating it may have been broken for a while, so you have to walk to a different elevator across the hotel. There was a towel stuffed in the light casing on the patio and cigarette butts on the patio, they have a $5 parking fee they donโ€™t tell you about at the desk and only charge you after the stay. The nights front desk staff and the person I called regarding the $5 fee were not friendly, they seemed to be inconvenienced at having to do their job.

The people have been amazing here. They are eager to help you any way they can. Items from the merchant shop can be added to your room bill. We were able to get their last available handicapped room. If you are at least 5'6" there should be very little inconvenience. If you are in a wheelchair you'll need to have them put the microwave and mini fridge onto the table. Our fridge needs a good shove to close all of the way. They don't charge extra for them. There is no master light switch. Each lamp needs to be turned on manually. There are no USB outlets. Fortunately we have a plug-in adapter of our own. The TV has 40 channels in English only. Our particular TV has the audio go up and down. You'll find the room to vary in temperature. It hasn't been much of a problem with a tiny fan at the warmest area. Height became an issue with the bed, toilet and tub. We know a safe way to get into and out of a tub. So that is a minor issue. At 5' our legs are not able to reach the floor in front of the toilet or climb onto the bed. They didn't have a step stool to loan us. Luckily we are local. It was a quick trip to find a step stool suitable for us. One thing they did have was a shower chair. There are rails at two heights to allow safe baths and showers. Otherwise the room is pleasant. This place is pet friendly. The merchant shop offers a few items for dogs. There are a few places around the property with grass. The pool area has grass nearby with picnic tables if you and rover want time outside. Edit: Although the room was handicapped accessible, the railing became quite slippery. While holding the railing I slipped and hurt my wrist. A month later it's still quite painful. I stubbed my toe on what I thought was a rock. Rocks are usually safe to pick up bare handed, but something told me to wash my hands well. Fortunately, I did because an employee's conversation made me wonder if it was rat droppings. A Google search confirmed it as rat droppings. This discovery caused a lot of anxiety. I brought it to the manager's attention. They started to vacuum quite a lot afterwards. A carpet shampoo wouldn't have hurt though. The soles of my feet got pretty dirty.

We stayed for 2 nights due to budget issues. I booked a ADA room due to having issues lifting left for a regular bathtub. Did not get one. Room closet had stiff dirty old towels still inside it. There was dirt and stains in bathroom floors. Carpet in room had a spot with sticky stain. Pillows felt like pillowcases with balled up paper inside them. And 2 out of 6 pillows smelled bad. Last day the sink was starting to clog. Hallways smelled like weed most of the time. Probably one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at, but we couldn't afford to book another room.

I was booked for a 2 night stay with king bed and a pull out couch/bed and I have the invoice with the proof as well at the time of booking. At the time of checkin I confirmed about the pull out couch. Once I checked in I did not see a pull out couch, went back to the front desk and checked on it again. They said they will send someone to help me with that. Once the help arrived, they said there should have been a pull out couch in that room and it was missing. I was lied all along from the time of checkin. It was late in the evening and ended up have 2 kids sleeping on the bed and myself sleeping on the floor. The next day even I though I was going to loose the money, I checked out of the hotel without staying for the second night and checked into another hotel. I did not care about the money, but just the lies I was told by the front desk staff after checking for the pull out couch repeatedly. I had a very bad experience and do not want others to go through this in future.

A series of unfortunate events. Unfortunately this hotel was not accommodating to my services . One of the hotel rooms booked was able to be accessible without a room key, just needed to push on the door and it would open on its own . The room keys stopped working towards the end of the day . The hot water to the hotel was not working as well. Gretchen (general manager) tried her best to help us as her other fellow employees were rude however; we felt it was necessary to leave and find another hotel to reserve.

Rooms are not the most modern but they are clean and comfortable. They have the best pillows. In room climate control, sliding glass doors to pool courtyard or balconies, heated pool and spa, free coffee in lobby in the morning or in your room, free parking. They do charge a resort fee like most hotels. All non smoking rooms and free wifi. The staff is friendly and helpful.

We are not sure how this hotel is considered a part of the Summerlin community due to its proximity of the actual Summerlin location. The rooms by far have been the cleanest we have stayed at over the course of our world travels. The staff was friendly, courtesy and helpful.....except for 1 person. I am not sure if you were part of the hotel staff or a parking lot security enforcement officer on break....sitting at the front desk. When you are working with the public, try and be helpful, not confrontational. The guest are the reason you have a job that provides you with a salary.

Avoid this property if at all possible. Smell is rotting and moldy, unaware that NO services were being offered - not even a cup of coffee in cafe. So when we asked if we could use a couple plates for take out food. We were told NO! because they had to do inventory of plates prior to re-opening. JUST Horrible!!! Smells, no service, and stains on carpet in rooms and WHATEVER You Do....Do NOT look at the mattress :/ Just Horrible.

1 Star. Worst stay of my life. Staff unfriendly and apathetic. This is a below "Motel 6" without a doubt. We were is a room thats smelled, steadily worsening air conditioning. The mattress on the couch, I would encourage ANY of the staff to sleep 1 night on that garbage, and I assure you that you would be uncomfortable selling this as a viable option for sleep. When I inquired about options the attendant suggested that I buy mattress foam from Walmart down the street. That was the moment that I became committed to sharing a review to notify the world that the management at this particular facility is OK with this level of customer service. There was one bright moment in my stay... There was an employee there named Jeff, and absolutely every exchange with him was courteous, kind, and professional. HE IS the 1 star in the middle of an unnecessarily poor customer experience. Even a little effort on the part of the other employees could have improved this experience.

It's obviously an older Hotel but they do a very good job of keeping things clean. The bed was very nice. The shower and bathrooms were very clean and everything worked well. There's a nice little bar / restaurant on the first floor and the food is very good. It was also a very quiet hotel which I really appreciated.

This is the best of hotels and the worst of hotels. The room was clean and tastefully decorated. Love the environmental responsibility of the soaps in the showers. But everything else was, well, a failure. The AC was so loud all night that we couldnโ€™t sleep. There was no coffee available in the motel. There were no washcloths in the room. Had to chase down a blow dryer which no one seemed to be able to find. The rates were quite high, but I thought the room would be nice so i paid it and looked forward to a nice stay. Boy was I disappointed. I love Sonesta but I would never stay at this hotel again.

If 0/5 stars was possible, that's still too nice. The rooms are NOT as they are on their website as they are in person, but dirty, dusty, and full of bugs. The front desk workers are RUDE and always have an issue if you're asking a question. All is fine if they're having their conversations, but helping a guest? Not worth their time. Don't bother here.
