My
own
experience
at
South
Cove
thus
far
has
been
quite
good.
Initially,
I
meant
to
stay
temporarily,
but
like
my
unit
enough
to
stay
longer;
I've
been
here
over
seven
months
now.
I'm
sure
individual
experience
depends
on
which
building,
unit,
and
neighbors,
and
this
is
an
older,
aging,
property,
but
my
unit
(which
I
rented
site
unseen)
was
well
cleaned
when
I
moved
in,
maintenance
has
always
responded
quickly
and
respectfully
(I
think
they
do
the
best
they
can,
considering),
there've
been
few
pests--no
bed
bugs!
(I
keep
very
clean
and
tidy,
but
bugs
are
a
fact
of
urban
life),
leasing
agents
and
management
have
been
largely
responsive
and
polite,
and
security
seems
quite
present--I've
never
felt
unsafe
on
the
property.
As
well,
keen
attention
is
paid
to
attempting,
as
best
they
can,
I
believe,
to
keep
out
"riff-raff",
with
a
few
exceptions
out
of
mgmt's
control
it's
been
quiet
and
peaceful,
and
I've
noticed
that
my
neighbors
seem
to
be
interested
in
supporting
each
other.
There
is
room
for
improvement,
but
most
staff,
from
housekeeping
to
management,
seem
genuinely
interested
in
facilitating
that
improvement.
It's
also
worth
noting
that
the
cost
of
substantial
improvements
would
necessarily
be
passed
on
to
tenants,
rather
the
property
appears
to
be
trying
to
remain
affordable;
and
I've
lived
in
far
more
expensive
places
with
far
less
care
and
attention.
I
expect
I'll
be
staying
quite
a
while
longer.
