Museum? If this is a museum, then every plaque on the side of the road is now a national park. This is a small aviation history display that you can easily miss even if you're careful. I actually missed it, and when this popped up on maps I thought "How did I miss a whole museum at the airport?". Turns out I hadn't. I'd walked by it twice. There are a few panels talking about aviation history and whatnot. Theres also a small static display of a plane hung up off the edge of the railing nearby. Woooooo... I could barely contain my excitement. It's totally free at least. Unless you paid for parking, in which case, they gotcha.

Very cool free museum in the middle of the airport before TSA lines so anyone can visit this for free after paying to park. I really enjoyed the Ford Thunderbird rescue car that was on full display as well as the Cessna hanging from the ceiling. Full sized! They have multiple individual displays about the history of the Las Vegas airport, and how it came into existence as well as artifacts from Long gone airlines. My favorite artifacts include the matches, lighters, vintage zippo lighters with boxes and the postman mannequin. All, with a complete branded ashtray that was used on the airlines. And oh my oh yeah. Totally worth stopping by early af to visit this site and see all their is to see. This museum is a fantastic place to play. Pokémon go and not be in everybody’s way. Multiple gyms, and plenty of PokéStops are located just before the TSA lines as well as all over the terminals. Enjoy. 🤙

The Howard W. Cannon Aviation Museum is a very nice free museum. There are lots of historical items on display. This area is located in Terminal 1 on the Esplenade which is outside of security. If you are on a connecting at McCarran you are allowed to exit security and re-enter security as long as you have a valid boarding pass for that day. There are more items on display throughout the airport.

It's more of a random exhibit in the middle of the terminal. Was pretty interesting nonetheless

If you're in McCarran airport and have some time to spare, this baby museum is packed with tons of Las Vegas aviation history. The displays are educational and each one is packed with lots of reading to keep you busy. The visuals included pilot uniforms, airport and airplane parts artifacts, tons of vintage black and white aviation pictures. This is a nice little stop if you have about 15-30 minutes to spare. The readings are definitely more interesting than the displays themself. The C & D gate TSA entrances are close by and can be seen from the museum. It's definitely worth checking out once if you're in the McCarran airport. Safe travels!

Great place for learning about Vegas airport. It is not look like it does on the app it's a small display of old fashioned features.

if you are passing through the Las Vegas airport and have a little bit of time to spend please stop at the aviation museum. They have really fun yet small and compact exhibits with even some old planes on display. It is handicap accessible and there are plenty of video, audio and literature postings near the TSA precheck.

If you're already inside the airport and have some time, go check it out. But it's not worth driving there just for the museum. There really isn't much to see, and it's poorly presented.

(Translated by Google) The decommissioned USS Intrepid aircraft carrier has some fighter jets on it. It is a good military museum. It is worth visiting if you have time in New York. (Original) 已经退役的无畏号航空母舰,上面有一些战斗机,不错的军事博物馆,在纽约有时间的话值得一去。

This was a pretty cool place to visit while waiting for a flight. There are instillations scattered throughout the airport, but the main one is before security near terminals a, b, and c. It tells the story is Nevada's aviation and the history of the Las Vegas airport.
