Took my daughter back in may. She was complaining of severe heart burn that she couldn't even walk. We are from california paying cash for the office visit my daughter forgot her ID card so they could make a copy. So they did not want to see her because she did not have her ID card nd we were paying cash. I told them they could make a copy of my ID card since I'm the mom. Still they said no since she's already 21 they needed her ID card. Still we were going to pay cash the consult according to the receptionist they need her ID card for billing purposes. Not a pleasent Dr. Visit I understand they need the ID card for billing purposes but assuming if the patient have an insurance card we were paying cash and from out of state we had to go to the hotel to get her ID card in order for them to see her bad experience she was in pain never again I'll take her to that office when I'm in town.Even though I'm the mother they did not want a copy of my ID card no mother want to see her daughther in pain.

Uninsured patients beware! The $69 office visit charge is for the evaluation ONLY! Any additional treatment will be charged separately. After visit, I asked for rates of treatments. I was told that was not available to patients. Upon seeing a practitioner and determining treatment needed ONLY then does a cash pay patient find out what the treatment cost will be. Then the cash pay patient decides whether or not to proceed. There will not be a refund of $69 given if cash pay patient decides not to proceed with treatment. I contacted the business office for Southwest Medical Associates the call center staff confirmed, however, I asked for a director to contact me. It has been 9 days with no contact from a director of billling. I, personally, would love to be insured and not have to concern myself with these decisions and details when not well. I, however, lost insurance upon retirement and am unwilling to pay the ridiculous monthly payments with the high deductibles and co-pays of the current insurance plans available to my family. We are fortunate to be healthy and have chosen to participate in a med share program instead (Samaritian Ministry) for major illnesses. I have learned a lesson, that I as the patient MUST be aware. The practioners are not looking out for me. It appears the one I saw, at least, is unwilling to include the treatment in the cost of the office visit.

I was taken in right away. The doctor listened and was knowledgeable. No to mention personable. Prescribed me 3 medications. It's only been 2 full days but already feeling incredibly better. Wish I could have this doctor as my primary.

My provider Teresa was phenomenal. She listened to my concerns. I did not feel rushed. I was very please with my providers services. The CNA was also great. She was friendly and patient. The reason for the 4 star is the front office staff who checked me in was not so friendly and customer service needs improvement.

I've been to this SW medical a total of 3 times (once for me, twice for my daughter) and each time, we have both been treated amazing! Dr. Hughs is the one who has seen my daughter both times and 2nd time I went was because the pediatrician I took her to the day prior had diagnosed her with something after seeing her for only 2 minutes and only asking 1 question. Dr. Hughs is awesome with my kid. He asked her the questions then asked me more questions before diagnosing her. I left feeling relieved since he provided answers to questions I didn't even think of and advised me of what to do if the problem wasn't resolved. If I could have him as her pediatrician, I would do it in a heartbeat!

If you are going in for a Wellness/ Preventive visit with Jackie Aragon, Nurse Practitioner do not ask any questions or discuss any preventive concerns you may have as she will bill the insurance for illnesses and claim she gave you a prescription just to increase the amount billed to the insurance. Then you will be stuck paying a medical bill for the reason that it was not billed as a Preventive visit. Basically, you have to go in, let them take your vitals and get out. Aragon will push to discuss medical issues to bill the insurance medical codes with a higher amount. Be cautious. Every year I go in for a preventive visit(different clinic) and this is the first time I have this billing issue. Note, I do not have medical issues and don't go to the doctor, only for my annual visits. I kept going back and forth with my insurance, Southwest Medical and their billing department and finally they decided to rebill my insurance for the second time (after a few phone calls), however they billed a difference illness code, and I received a bill again. Note, this is not my insurance, my insurance covers 1 preventive visit, as long as the clinic bills correctly. If possible, avoid Southwest and furthermore avoid scheduling an appointment with Aargon. I don't discriminate against Nurse practitioners, however going forward I will book with a doctor, (that is not employed by Southwest).

I was very impressed by the service that was provided to me. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The staff was very friendly. The provider Teresa was extremely personable and knowledgeable. My prescription was sent to my preferred pharmacy with no problem. Id definitely recommend this location to anyone.

👍👍 The visit at the Craig location was my first doctor appointment in years. I have not had a regular doctor since moving here 25 years ago because I never found one I would go to more than once. 😠 My appointment was at 3:30. I got to the office at 3:15. I waited until 4:20 to get called to check my weight and blood pressure. The nurse left and I stayed waiting for the doctor until 5:20. The doctor asked me what I was there for, which I explained my reasons. He was there for less than 3 minute...
