I used to bring my pets here, but I'm not sure if they have changed management or they are trying to make up there losses during COVID. Now they are very expensive. I remember I got a first time pet care package when I first started going there with shampoo and little treats for your pet. Thought that was nice. They don't do that no more. Now it's like going to a car dealership and everything has a charge. Don't matter if you brought your own lab work or tests from another vet. They will charge just to read them..They pray on people's ignorance. If your in the medical field you will know what tests are practical for your pet and you can bring down the price by ordering the basics, but if you have no idea they will rip you off by doing every test known to man. My wife just brought our dog in for a second opinion and they tried to charge her $1750 even tho we had our own labs done. If you have no appointment it's $80 just to walk in the door. I recommend going to Durango animal hospital. I've been taking all three of my dogs there since this place changed. It's cheaper and you will get better service.

Very clean office setting. The exam rooms are clean and welcoming. The doctors are educated and listen to your needs. The vets and techs and front desk employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. It’s a little pricy but you and your pet are well taken care of from the moment you walk in. The VCA logo assures that the vet and office is of high standards. I’ve been coming here for two years when visiting and we go to VCA chat oak in Granada hills for 15 years both offices will immediately fax records and respond to each other prior to and during a visit if need be that make a person feel comfortable as they communicate and receive records to review and add to your pets record I like that. Overall they have been a 5 star vet in my eyes

I have never in my life been talked to like I was this morning May 31 at 715am. The woman was extremely rude to me when I was trying to explain that my pet had been vomiting with diarrhea for 24 hours, she didn’t even let me finish before hanging up on me. This was so uncalled for, to treat people like she treated me when we are worried for the well being of a family member should not be tolerated and will not be tolerated where I choose to do business. I will not be returning, I was just shown how much they “truly” care. This is the second time I have been treated this way when I call in and I’ve had it. Be expecting a call from another provider asking for my dogs records. Thank you for showing that you truly don’t care about animals in times of crisis. You should be ashamed of yourselves I will be calling to cancel everything in regards to your hospital as soon as I have enough emotional energy to. And be aware that it was in fact an emergency this morning with my yorkie, he has to be hospitalized…thank you for caring

Lucky to have found a clinic that is skilled with and welcoming to both dogs and cats. Everyone has been unfailingly kind and caring during our appointments, and they make the effort to follow up and check in after they have provided care. Very clean facility, conveniently located, with weekend hours and appointments.

Excellent care for my dogs. Dr. Saponas tooth extraction on pup was excellent. 5⭐️ Service by front staff too. Would highly recommended Dr. Saponas and Dr. Love.

For humans who truly love their “fur-babies”!! If you want a veterinarian with a loving crew, this is the place to be!! You will never sleep with one eye, or worry that your “fur-baby” will “accidentally” trip you!! Ain’t no one got time for that!! I take my two miniature schnauzer to Dr. Martinez. She’s amazing and caring. One of my miniature schnauzer had surgery. And now my little fur baby is back to normal. Thank you to Dr Martinez staff for all they. I highly highly recommend VCA Hualapai Animal Hospital

Our family has been going for years to this location. Staff is very attentive and Sincere. Christie is the best groomer on Earth. Are crystal dog loves to go get bathed by her favorite groomer? She always gets really excited, the dog that is.

All the doctors here are wonderful! You don’t feel rushed here. The place is very clean and the office staff is friendly! Bring your pets here! They offer military discount too!

I've had my small dog for 8 years and have gone to many vets in many states none have ever put a muzzle on him...this was heartbreaking to see. The tech seemed like she didn't like working there or didn't love dogs. The vet was salesman like, up selling on things my dog "maybe" needs. Perhaps I'm used to more of a locally owned environment and not a corporate type of feeling. Oh and it's very overpriced! The tech said it's because of the location🤷‍♀️

My 15 year old dachshund mix with a herniated disc has been a patient here for at least 5 years and today while trying to refill a prescription for an anti-inflammatory during a flare up, I was told no refill without an exam and I would not be able to speak with a veterinarian period. Will be taking our business somewhere else.

We adopted Charlie, who was found severely neglected and emaciated, on the street, in October. After many, many hours of reading reviews, talking to friends and combing through websites, we decided to try VCA Hualapai for her care. We have been very happy with the access to and quality of services. We have been seeing Dr. Love and like her very much. She is thorough and compassionate, and did an outstanding job removing more than 17 teeth from poor Charlie, who recovered beautifully and is so much happier now. The staff are genuinely kind and helped us choose the best care management plan for Charlie. Charlie is our 5th rescue over 25+ years, with our first four having lived in NJ with us. In the NYC metro area, we had access to truly outstanding veterinary care and are, frankly, spoiled, having lived 20 mins. from one of the country's best veterinary hospitals with Ivy-league trained specialists. We were worried about finding veterinary care in Las Vegas that would meet our standards and are now very relieved we found Dr. Love and the team at VCA.

We really appreciate the in-depth care Lucy gets and the way Dr. Saponas shares info and diagnosis in a way that shows what a top-notch vet she is! I can't say enough good things about everyone that works there. From the doctors to the techs, the receptionists and the groomers, they make me and my pets feel like family. They are not the least expensive vets in Vegas but it's worth the money knowing my pets are in competent AND caring hands.

Dr. Pepper took the time to discuss the benefits, risks, and costs of the procedure with us, and she was incredibly patient and attentive as we voiced our concerns and asked questions. Ultimately, Dr. Pepper provided us with all the information we needed to make an informed decision about whether or not to proceed with the procedure. And while we ultimately decided not to go ahead with it, I never once felt pressured or judged for my decision. In fact, the staff at VCA Hualapai Animal Hospital were incredibly understanding and supportive, and you could tell that they truly cared about what was best for Buddy Holly. Wonderful experience!! Our cat passed away a few weeks ago. We needed help cremating her. It was so stressful. We had called many places. Called Hualapai Animal Hospital, so kind to help us. Able to fit us in. They even gave us a paw print as a remembrance. Sad that she passed over the rainbow bridge, now she is with her dog friends🐾🐾🐾

I’ve transitioned care for my 2 dogs and 2 cats here after trying out several other vets. I’ve seen 4 different doctors and liked them all. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. I had a scare not long ago with my kitten who had a suspected broken tail. It was on a weekend so I took her to the emergency vet and they wouldn’t treat her bc they didn’t consider it an emergency. They gave me a list of vets that take walk ins. I called VCA just on the off chance that I could get in with them. I didn’t even expect them to be open but they were and they got her right in. I can’t say that I think they are less expensive than most vets but I don’t feel like it’s substantially more either and I’m willing to pay for quality care. My only complaint would have been that they don’t see hamsters. I would have liked to get care for my little Peanut but the only vet that would see him had such a long wait that he passed away waiting for an appointment.

I've had good experiences here, but I've only been there for vaccines for my puppies so far. The receptionist and vet were very friendly.

"I had to wait for a bit...but l was early too as l have to drive down from Pahrump. ....but the Dr. & help is worth the trip!! They are so absolutely wonderful in the tender caring...& being very helpful with telling what Gingie needed. She got 2 shots...oil for her skin...treats & heart worm medication. I would suggest in getting their health care plan...as it covers shots.. office visits. My final payment for her supplies were $131.00. Thank you VCA!! See you in 3 weeks for another booster shot!!".

The doctors and the staff here are fantastic. They have been quick to answer any questions or concerns about my pets. If you are looking for a new vet I would highly recommend this location.

I'm not taking away from any vet there, but I want to make sure that people have the option of having the absolute best vet in the city in Dr. Thalisa Love!!! I knew her with all of my animals for more than 15 years. I moved from the area and lost touch with her. My other vet would never tell me if it was time to put my Issy to sleep. So I went searching for Dr Love. She finally told me. The other vet was just prolonging the inevitable because of money. And in this, my cat was suff. I searched for Dr. Love. She told me it's time and my Issy was suffering. This is the last thing I wanted was to make my Issy suffer. She is truly the vet that should receive accolades for her compassion and knowledge. Thank you so much Dr Love!!

Dr Pepper and her amazing vet tech are very thorough with my puppy Charcoal. He loves them so much and is very excited to see them every time we are there. All of the office staff and other technicians are super sweet and respectful. I live about 30 minutes away now but it’s very much worth the drive to ensure Charcoal gets great care like this! I would recommend this office and Dr. Pepper to anyone with a new fur baby or looking for a new office!
