Parking lot is well lit and there are other businesses opened 24/7 in the same relatively small parking lot so it feels safe. I'm traveling full time in my tiny house and am currently in this parking lot for the night. No police activity besides them randomly driving through. homelessness is rampant, but I haven't been bothered by foot traffic. Other people seem to be living full time in their cars but they stick to themselves and seem to want to be left alone. Seems quite safe. The planet fitness here does A great job of keeping the place cleaned and well stoked. They're always so professional when I check in. ;)

The reviews are all true 😖 this is the dirtiest location I've ever been to. Smells musty AF. And all the employees just sit on their phone at the front. Never seen so many creeps at one location also. I dont have anything against homeless but there is ppl who smell like urine using machines and not wiping them and the staff doesn't clean at all so wipe everything down very good if u go here. Unfortunately I have to deal with it because it's the only location near me with a certain ab bench I like, so I just bring my own alcohol wipes to make it easier. I finish a whole pack of wipes in one visit though 🤢

While in Vegas, wanted to use my benefits and access a full gym instead of a hotel one. This was about a mile from my hotel and decided to come in. It’s in a shopping center, easy to find, and like some reviews have mentioned, there are homeless people in the area but nothing that made me uncomfortable (especially because I walked the mile to and from my hotel). I checked in with no issue (as a TX member) but did need to buy a lock for a locker (my home gym has free ones with locks for black card members). Lots of cardio equipment including a couple machines my home gym does not have as well as a slight different layout that I really liked. Everything was so clean, organized, and fully functional. I was very impressed with the gym, again, given the outside, wasn’t expecting how pristine everything was. When I’m Vegas again, I will def be checking out this place again.

I'll never understand why I have to physically walk into the gym to cancel my membership. Yes, you can send a letter as well, but who the heck does that anymore? They need to make their services easier to use.

I've started going to this gym since the beginning of this month. I'd like to say that the manager and one of the coworkers that worked during the daytime are Very wecolming educational and they don't have a problem answering questions and giving good suggestions. It's clean and it's well kept and I love using the machines. I Last but not least and a super + the bathrooms and the showers are very clean. The gym is very well kept up and ventilated.

Fantastic gym. Morning people are respectful and wipe down equipment after use. There is a bike rack in front that is bolted down. And you can't beat the price. Equipment seems brand new and there are many different areas you can work out in. Can't beat it!

I have been going to fitness centers for years. If you are looking for a body building focus then this is not necessarily your cup of tea. But if you are into shaping up, dropping fat and maintaining a healthy lifestyle in a laid-back format this is your place. Yes, the people who work there are not as out-going as one would desire in a sales unit. One or two reach out and get to know their clientele but most stay behind the desk and will answer questions if you ask which is perfectly legitimate but rather a cold customer relations strategy. Machines are kept clean, operational and quickly maintained if needed. No problems there. Most clients follow the rules and everything runs smoothly. Too many spend too much time getting their dopamine fix through whatever social-media account dealer-man they use and spend long periods of time sitting in an hibernation state on a machine until you hungrily ask them a question regarding availability, and they reply with glazed eyes and "sure, man. 1 more set." and go back to la-la land. I lived through the 1960's in Chicago Wells Street...... Rules say take addiction into the lobby.......But the reality is different....Not angry, just an observation...

The locker room was uncomfortable! There was a dude in gray sweats leaning against the wall with his hands down the front of his pants just staring at everyone undress. The showers are gross! The showers are just down right gross! Looks like they haven’t been cleaned in weeks and there was tons of paper towels on the floor around the shower, looked like the homeless man that was there had used them to dry off. I don’t think the Planet Fitness “Commitment To Clean” covers the showers. All the PF in the Las Vegas area I have visited, with the exception of Sunset, have very gross showers.

Super nice staff. Took my first shower (first week of July) and the shower head fell down hit me in the mouth where I just got stitches from being attacked by a dog 3 days before. Told the female staff member about it and she told me "that's a handicapped one you shouldn't even be using that one." There are only two other showers also without any water pressure. The music in the tanning booth is so loud your ears will be ringing for days.

I just walked out of this location after stopping in to take a shower. Guaranteed the only reason I'd return would be as a last resort! Shower floors and shower shelf were dirty. Shower curtains were dirty with residue, obviously not cleaned in awhile and full on musty smell throughout the shower area.

Great place. Not very crowded most times. Wide variety of machines and enough space for aerobic and/or calisthenic exercises. The staff are alright although I rarely meet the same staff member more than twice... I frequant this gym maybe twice a month (sad) but have been a member for two years and plan on returning to continue maintaining my physical, mental and spiritual health.

This Planet Fitness on East Sahara in Las Vegas is a great place to work out. It is managed by DC, a gentleman who is serious and professional about his work, but who is also a friendly, easy-going person. He cares about the club and his staff, as well as about the members.The club is always clean and well taken care of. My original home Planet Fitness is in NYC, near 34th Street and 7th Avenue. I recommend this club, too, as well as the Planet Fitness in the Bronx, NY, on White Plains Road, near where I used to live. These two clubs are run very professionally, and are kept clean and in good condition, just as the Las Vegas, East Sahara Planet Fitness is. Additionally, the monthly membership cost is very affordable. I have the Black Card membership which allows me to work out at any Planet Fitness. Other people prefer the regular membership because it is half the cost of the Black Card membership. This regular card is between $10 and $12 per month, and is great, as long as you plan to use only one Planet Fitness location.

Nice! Very clean nice people and excellent personnel! We just moved to las Vegas , Nevada and they were very helpful and prompt in switching my husband's account from NYC to this location and went right back to his workouts. Very happy with the service.

The team is amazing always welcoming with a smile it’s amazingly clean..I’ve been going for about a month now and I must say I was hesitant to go there at first because of the area but immediately when you walk in it’s another atmosphere there the bathrooms are always very clean and after the pandemic everyone has to be more careful and Planet Fitness at Sahara has provided that for us members. Thank you for all your great work and support from the bottom of my heart Thank you Thank you.

This planet fitness is great because it's a 24 hour location. The staff members are phenomenal, friendly and on point ☝️! This facility is always clean , well lit and the air conditioning is wonderful. There are usually not too many people here at any time of the day and I've been here all times of the day and week . It's a good way to get cardio with plenty of exercise bikes , treadmills , row machine , stairs climbers and more. It has ESPN and all the basic sports cable channels displaying. There's a place to stretch, do calisthenics and yoga . This planet fitness could use a little more equipment but overall I enjoyed it!!

I'm a new member, I must say I felt welcomed and was helped by staff with any questions. Clean, and vast amount of gym equipment available. Looking forward to accomplishing my fitness goals here 💪🏽

Surprisingly clean and comfortable. The women's locker room and bathrooms have been clean every time I have gone. There are plenty of machines and space. Even when it gets busy it doesn't feel too crowded. The only negative is I witnessed my only "gym intimidation" ever, here. It wasn't directed at me, but it was a bummer to see while "No Critics" is hung on the wall. Not really sure how staff could logically enforce that better, though.

I love this facility! Always welcomed by the friendly staff who keep the place spotless. No judgment here. All the equipment is maintained in top condition. Planet Fitness at E. Sahara and Maryland Parkway rules.

Planet fitness was a great place to get off steam and work on my rows. I feel great and the membership was cheap! I love how cool they keep the place and how clean everything is

The manager on duty has severe little man syndrome. I drive 14 minutes out of my way not to go to this location specifically because of him. Also, Showers don’t get warm and you get bombarded by the homeless that hang around the 711.

Mr. Jay customer service is unmatched. He really cares about helping people and understanding people needs then acting on it. This General Manager is one of the best managers I have ever encountered.

I have been going to this PF for 2 months now and it’s hands down my favorite one. The staff is always so friendly, the equipment is always up to par, it’s clean and a great work environment. Also Jay needs a raise! He’s always working and so friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend.

Great club! The management is excellent, and all the staff are friendly and professional. This club is kept clean and is well- maintained. I have been coming to this Planet Fitness since 2020, and I highly recommend it!

I walked on the treadmill and I had to clean it it was so disgusting... Then went in the bathroom n wow that's was too... And the guy was on his phone the whole time wasn't doing nothing .. I won't be coming here again..... First time at this location n that's a big NOPE...👎

Great equipment, great staff and hardly ever busy. The equipment is in perfect condition and is very clean. The staff usually cleans the equipment (car wash style) at least once when I'm in there. The location for me is perfect. Corner of Maryland prkwy and Sahara in a strop mall. The cardio equipment is very abundant and there's more than I've ever seen at any other gym that ice been to. Lots of different types including the stair master machines. The gauntlet as I remember them being called. I really like the gym and would highly recommend it

Had a person, Jay who was outside in street clothes and claimed to be a manager, tell me a rule that the night shift never enforced and no signs anywhere stating what Jay said. With all of the homeless around here. Not too sure if Jay is an employee or not. Before stating the rules. The employees should be dressed in planet fitness attire.

I came here with a regular tier membership. I knew the Black Card offered perks but didn’t remember that you can only go to one club without paying a fee or upgrading. Since I came for a quick workout on the way somewhere, I decided to decline. Jay and DC stopped me and let me work out for no fee. I have to say, that’s some great customer service. I’ll be upgrading soon just so I can back here from time to time. Kudos to these two, they made my day.

Love planet fitness, just wish the club had a wet area.

The best gym ever. Love the infrared booth and hydra massage. Enjoyable place to work out at your own pace. Very clean and well maintained.

First time at a planet fitness. Like the way it is separated. Good machines. Every piece of equipment we used, worked. Seemed clean and decent change rooms and shower areas. Offered private changing area.

Visited this place on a short trip. The employees helped me sign in to a foreign PF and were super nice. It's definitely not the biggest planet fitness I've visited, but they have everything you need for a good workout. The lockerrooms were clean as well as the equipment in the gym.

Great, although too far for me to consistently come here. Have to cancel my subscription soon and do home workouts but this is an actual decent gym and I built upper body muscle FAST due to great equipment

The location is clean and the staff is very friendly, and Pamela is a stand out employee. Considering the area which the club is located is riddled with homeless people and weirdos the staff has pretty good control over it. I don't envy them, they have a tough job and do it well!

Look out for the blonde lady in there. She has a stuck up snotty attitude and watched me walk outside with a mean glare and then when coming back into the building from my car, she told me to sign in again. I got the rudest mean mug of my life when letting her know that I've already signed in when her co workers vouched for me.

Hope the community understands we have to learn to support and keep these 24 hour gyms running they did it for us to have a place to exercise and be healthy we have to appreciate gyms before they see we didn’t and shut down

First time coming here I felt welcomed, I’ve never had issues working out here and the staff are very kind and always tell me to have a nice day before I leave.

"Paris" a dark skin man that works frontdesk is mean , judgemental, rude and very unprofessional. He makes me and my guests uncomfortable because he don't want to help us sign in or use the black card zone. To be a no judgment zone fitness club, having him goes against this rule. Cancelling my 5 year blackcard membership today.

Loved the water massage table. It's a nice sized gym don't have to fight over machines etc. Not too big and very clean!

Unusually filthy; not my normal gym but decided to visit after I was out of the area of my normal gym and GROSS. I wiped this massage bed off BEFORE AND AFTER and this was the outcome of the after. Almost cancelled my membership until I remembered which location I go to. I don’t know if feeling itchy was a result of the dirt but I’ll never go back here

I go to Sahara and Maryland the gym is always clean mask is strictly mandate staff are friendly manager DC always walking the floor picking up weight and making members are all keeping their mask on

Honestly was a member of this establishment a couple years ago but while the young gentleman was going over the plan with me. I really begin to feel uncomfortable the way he constantly would look up and smile at people coming in and when I turned around they weren't even looking in our direction. I got a weird vibe there. Decided not to join

I actually think this planet fitness is better then many other ones I joined ..its not too crowded and the staffs cool and helpful.

Friendly staff, great selection of machines and stations to use & I love the tanning. Clean and well run facility. If you live around the strip, this is a great location that is walkable.

Great customer service. Guests have restrictions though, which is super pointless. What is the point of a guest if not to show them everything? it would be like a having a guest over at the house and not allowing them to sit. (they wouldn't let guests use massage)

This is the most dirty planet fitness I have ever been to. I'm coming here already 6 months, they never clean the machines especially the stair steppers. I don't understand because they have so much stuff standing around in the front desk.

Truly a specifically amazing PF!! The staff are above and beyond, truly. Shoutout to the work they put into keeping this location clean, safe, and providing helpful information whenever needed. As a female who works out solo at night sometimes, I truly appreciate the ways the staff remembers me and makes me feel looked out for. Not that I’ve ever had any safety issues here! For such a busy location, I’m so impressed at how polite fellow gym goers are. More regulars than you’d think for a busy location. I’ve left (got a membership at another gym for convenience) and come back to this location because it really is just a top notch gym. Busy for a reason! 13/10 would recommend this location specifically!

I like how cheap planet fitness it with a good variety of machines. However my old planet fitness had the locks built into the lockers, for this gym I had to buy one. Inconvenient but not a deal breaker, however it's overall a bit dingy and some of the machines have problems (stationary bike handle was wobbly, missing the part your feet slide into on the peddles, ect.)

This was my first time going and i loved it. This location is quite and not too crowded.

They are doing a great job at keeping everything clean.

Smells great & clean This location has a different VIP check in, At check-in it only says available 1 bed 1 lounger (there’s 2 each) &run times of hydro beds, which that perk is why we choose planet fitness over other gyms in the Las Vegas area and throughout the nation while traveling and performing. They run back to back automatically and can miss a few minutes of run time. I guess as long as no one else comes in in those two minutes for cleaning .. I guess then you can do the bed again 🤷🏻‍♀️ *I like the process at some of the other locations

It was nice and clean but too small, not like the one I got used to.

The fact that in 2022 I can buy a car online but not cancel a gym membership is absurd. You'd think after covid they'd figure it out. At this point, forcing people to come in is an obvious money grab hoping they won't. And that's disgusting. 💯

There are more popular gym options, but I stand by my home gym because of the team’s customer service. Justin and DC are always very friendly. They’ve multiple times have gone out of their way to assist me and other members. Our gym is also ALWAYS spotless and most importantly, the equipment all work. I can’t say the same about the gym across the street.

I highly recommend this gym!! I travel full time and have been to multiple planet fitnesses across states and this one has been by far my favorite. The staff is so nice and they are very approachable. I never felt out of place or like I didn’t belong there. (Going to a new gym every few weeks always has me nervous lol) The gym is always clean and the sanitizers are always full! They also never gave me a hard time about having to sign in manually (because my plan goes through health insurance instead of directly through PF so it’s nothing on their end). Other PF I’ve been to would be extremely annoyed that I had to use my number instead of just scanning so that was such a relief for me. Again, I would 100% recommend this gym!

Downgrading to a one star review. Not a good area. Too many homeless people around. The staff changes every couple months and this time around it isn't good I wish they would just make the check in easier like before. Sometimes the employees bring the barcode scanner and point up towards the face. The class 2 laser in the scanner isn't good for everyone's eye. Just leave the scanner there so the customer can scan it by themselves. Yeesh,why make something simple so difficult?

My wife & I visited last Thursday from Houston. Great friendly manager & staffs. Super clean facility. I'm member at Club corp in Houston for over 30 years & PF for 3 years. Corporate office should upgrade cardio machines for this location similar to Houston heights location

I was visiting and at a seminar. Wanted to work out close to my hotel and found this Planet Fitness. The gym was super clean with lots of new equipment. The staff was great especially DC. He went out of his way to help me.

DC and crew are the greatest. They make you feel welcome upon entering and a warm good bye upon departure. They work hard at keeping the club clean and tidy.

This location has a decent layout I say that because the equipment/ machines are to close together but I understand they are trying to use all the space. Its a clean location. Parking is okay. This location does have a nice view of the Start that adds to its uniqueness.

Truly a "No Lunk" gym, with helpful staff and knowledgeable trainers. No free barbells, or pool, or track. If you know what you are doing, PF has everything you need.

When I worked at a planet fitness in California during COVID, there was an extreme focus on cleanliness and staying on top of everything. It was something that set them apart from other gyms. I don't know if it's a worker shortage but that emphasis is just not there in this club. Still friendly staff. I guess you get what you pay for.
