A very nice park. Has lots of different amenities. The city has got to do something about the homeless population living there though. Otherwise it's really nice.

Quite a good park for various activities: it has soccer and basketball fields, skate park, water play area, few playgrounds, and couple of tents. There is also dogs park and big lawn. The park is not particularly clean, but still playgrounds are well maintained. Parking is ok, in certain hours it can be crowded though

Too many homeless. There were full homeless huts under some trees. The playground looked nice and kids were playing. The dog park area was clean. But you couldn't really enjoy the park because of the homeless. Even the picnic area was full. I have 3 stars only because of the playground and dog park.

Really enjoy this park. It's right across the street from my son's pediatrician, so we always do a quick stop by in the summer.

On st Louis St it is dangerously to park too dark and with homeless and suspicious people standing on the side walk.I feel very insecure going to soccer games.A big group of homeless on the party area burning something screaming all together.Awful! Please don't go there!I don't even try bathrooms.Scary!

Amazing park for both children and adults. The only thing this park is missing is a basketball gym ! It has a nice BBQ area with a large covering, a huge lot of grass which you can sit , catch sun rays , sun bathe , do some grounding etc . There are also other plots of grass designated for sports such as soccer and football. It has a nice baseball area for people to enjoy. This park has two jungle gyms to accommodate the plethora of children who attend. There is a water section where kids can play and get wet , it's really nice and safe for children with benches for the parents to watch from. This park also has a dog park that is caged in to give your animals their own piece of the park

My kids love the skate park here. It’s set up so that they can ride scooters and skateboards in a loop without stopping. Plenty of ramps, rails, and some stairs.

This park was OVERRUN by homeless people. I met my sister here to bring all the kids and I made all of us leave immediately. The were groups of homeless people throughout the entire park, many of them staring at the kids. I would not recommend this park at all.

40 years ago I went to this school, played at this Park after School , had Little League Baseball games here sometimes , rode my MX Wesco bike and my Dirt bike there too. Before it was named after Judge Myron Leavitt I lived on Bonita we sold a M/C to Myron Leavitt 's son I forgot which one they came to our house to buy it, I know Andy Leavitt and his dad Deserved to be Remembered with the Dedication of that Park in his name he had 10.kids I think but used to be named just the JayCee Park

This once clean park has basically being overun by homeless people. They keep it very dirty and disgusting. The sitting covered area by the playground is basically their staging ground and is awfully dirty because of them

Jankfest of homeless. I’m VERY compassionate to their plight but this park was OVERWHELMING. Def NOT safe at night. There are enclosed dog parks for big & small dogs on the north side of the park (on St,Louis St). The bathroom was filthy. Park is adjacent to a school with sooo MANY homeless in the park - it’s heartbreaking exposure to school children about the harsh reality of the real life. DONT waste your time here.

Great park to enjoy even though there are locals residing in the park they keep their distance from the children and the areas designated for them! 💯 What's a park without a bum... A post.. lol

If you want to socialize your dog go here any day between 7:30am and 10:00am and you could meet up with 12 or more great dogs and their owners.

This park is a small park. It's a child only park. Which means if you come to this park you must have small children or minors with you. It does have a swimming pool and brand new soccer field. But check with Parks and Recreations in regards to the availability of the soccer field and pool. Park area does have tables, but no grills. Also it has swings, jungle gyms, and a water park for cooling off. Lastly, it is located across the street from Trinity Life Center which is a great Christian church.

I took my grandson and we played in the splashZone. There were a lot of homeless but they were quiet and just grabbing shade in the picnic area.

So many options to enjoy. Soccer, baseball, bocce ball, horse shoes, picnic areas, and lots of grass. Great park to enjoy your day.

I just want to know is this what we pay the city worker to do is just too sit in the trucks and sleep on our dime and just watch the water run

The fenced dog areas are nice and look relatively brand new. It's an impressive and large layout. But dog doo doo EVERYWHERE, some of it days old. This is why we can't have nice things *rolls eyes at the lazy people*

I love this park. The only problem is that there is a lot of homeless. My kids and I had a lot of here.

this park is perfect i think for many different reasons. You have the skatepark, a waterpark, and two big playgrounds for the kids, along with a track, lots of grass and a workout area. The dog too. Its a very old park though and in a rundown area so it gets messy but I think its a great park

The park is huge and had a nice size track. We like taking our dog to the dog park Saturday mornings. It's peaceful. Does have an issue with homeless so I wouldn't recommend taking your kids here.

My 3 year old loved it. The only concern I have is there were several homeless people there.

  • 3/5 Etevise T. 1 year ago on Google
Needs more sanitizing on all the playgrounds, tables. Lots of homeless I dont blame them lots of shade and a splash pad they can shower at.
