Beautiful setting. If you have trouble walking long distances, please don't go to fields 7-12 the ramps are steep. If you're super athletic, you'll love it!

Very clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff and groundsmen, lots of ball fields, seating, a few playgrounds for the little kids, lots of shade, water fountains and pavilions for picnics, sprinklers to spray the fields when your all done, and stairs and a track path around the outside for exercise. Great place.

Can't lie, we kinda hate when the tournament we are in is at this park. The bathrooms are basically like what I imagine prison bathrooms may be like and not close enough to the fields, the walk down to the fields are long and steep. There aren't very good areas for team warm ups if you don't have the first game of the day and every field is occupied.

We were only on the lower fields, but overall this is a great park for softball games. The grass was nice, but the infield was like a huge sandbox. We were not allowed to sit in the bleachers where there is a nice shade structure (thanks to COVID rules) - so we sat behind the OF fence. The higher up the hill you sit the better the view - so we sat in the dirt and rocks and watched the game. The wind was an issue - what can you expect in Vegas right? And the hill going up after the games with a wagon were steep and long - but since we had a PGF berth in had we had a little pep in our step :)

Great softball facility, paved access all around, plenty of spectator bleachers, covered picnic area in the middle of the 7-12 fields. Only thing that would have made this better is if snack bar and restrooms were nearer the fields, but its built in a flood zone so it was not to be. Otherwise great facility. Extremely limited if any warm up spaces unless you have the 1st game of the day.

One of the larger parks in the valley. Great for running, baseball, walking the dog. Beautiful views too.

This park is located at the bottom of a very deep flood control channel. The park itself is really nice except for the fact that there are only porta potties around the baseball fields and no means of washing your hands. The real issue here is inaccessibility. First, the parking is woefully inadequate, forcing you to park way far away from the baseball fields. Second, you then must traverse 160 stairs down into the park. Going down isn't too bad, walking back up is a nightmare for 70 somethings who came to see their grandkid play baseball. There is a ramp for wheelchair access, but the ramp puts you even farther away from the fields. I have seen parks built in flood control channels in other cities. The concept is laudable, but I have never seen one built so deep that just getting to it is a chore.

Went there to see the t ball and softball games that my family attended. Fields are maintained, and the park is clean. Parking is kind of confusing for the first time trying to figure out side to park on. They are rebuilding some parts or the park and plating stuff. So that didn't smell well. Lots of wildlife like quail and desert lizards 🦎 I couldn't ID. Cool place visited during sunset so if you are going to watch the game early morning or mid day bring a umbrella or some 😎 shade.

Great Park except for the fact the restrooms are far away from the fields (only to prevent flooding since the fields are in an old river bed). The bottom parking is small also so when it's full you have to park on top of the hill. Kinda tough when you need to lug equipment around or if you have special needs.

This is perfect for those night walks. The park is well lit so it is safe and there is always baseball practices happening.

Nice parking area overlooking ball fields to have a snack in your car.

I'm basing it largely on the fact that they uniquely have a set of stairs of respectable height to work out on and alternatively a nice inclined hill to go up and down. I dont know of any parks in vegas that have stairs good enough for a workout.

Great park for people who walk for exercise. It has 5 flights of steps and a hill with a deep incline.

Very Nice, Huge park but only one bathroom at the top of the 1,000 steps you have to climb to get out. There are ramps but not much easier to go up for a 70 year old!!! 🤣

I love the park and the location. The reason I attend the park is to walk laps. The park is on the bottom of a hill and it has approximately between 90 to 100 steps to climb. That is a great cardio workout.

Good walk . A lot of demolition of the park. Had no idea.

Nice field and great set up. Bathroom situation was not super, but I wasn't there to hang out at the restroom. Parking is a bit tricky if you don't want to walk too far to the lower fields. If you don't mind a few minutes of walking, the parking is fine.

I have been running around the perimeter of the park or walking my dogs here for over 12 years now! It is safe enough to run before the sun is up or later in the evening. There are some crossfit groups here early in the morning working out in the parking lot and doing the steps. I rarely go inside the park because you can get a good workout just staying on the sidewalks that go around it. Also, if you are here for softball, there are 2 main parking lots and the small one at police memorial park. Just be mindful they may give you a ticket if you park in the desert areas on game days. Lastly, practice some level of situational awareness because I always see coyotes in this park at dusk and dawn. In the times I have run past them, I have had my headlamp on. They think it's a car and steer clear.

There's a short path here outside the baseball diamond that has 100 steps and about a 15° incline -- if you do two loops you'll do a mile and get a good strenuous workout in 30 minutes. I do it so i go up and down both the incline and the steps. There are also very nice baseball diamonds here with picnic tables.

Bathrooms are always stocked and clean. Very important! They have a hand washing station but no soap.

Don't park in foul ball territory. Great park with lots of softball fields, bathrooms, and shaded areas behind the backstops.

Get in shape this park is great for that the stairs are perfect and very safe all times of the day and night police station right down the street

Great family atmosphere! Let’s Play Ball! There are sunshades over the bleachers. As the sun gets higher, the shade moves around on the bleachers. Some bring camping chairs to be more comfortable and assured of a seat. There are a couple restrooms which may or may not be near your ball field. Bring your own drinks and snacks! At least one area has play equipment. The ball fields can be dusty when windy. It is a large park with many ball fields. So, know the field number of where you want to be!

The splash pad and kid play areas were run down. There was a random towel and used condom at the bottom of the long slide. Just feels like it could use a good washing and face lift. Tons of space but worn down.

Large and very well maintained very full service Park with tennis, playgrounds, walking trails, and topnotch baseball fields.

  • 5/5 Catherine H. 2 years ago on Google
This park is astounding. It is very "softball centric"....hence the entirety of the top notch precious stones with seats. However, there are incredible strolling paths...paved and unpaved. There is an incredible "desert stroll" along the edge of a colossal water catchment region. Drinking fountains, an incredible public bathroom, extraordinary perspectives on Las Vegas Valley and it is situated in the shoulder of Lone Mountain. Extraordinary for working out, for families and for pet strolling.

What a nice softball park! There's a ton of shaded areas and it's so well thought out. Cleaner than ones I've been to in the past. Bathrooms are relatively clean, but sinks are outside (one on each side) to service all. Hardly had any soap.

Great park! There are bathrooms in the area, and playgrounds too. If you walk a little further up, you will find a skate park in the area, if you vist in the evening, you'll see a beautiful view.
