Signed my son up for a year membership. Coach Dylan and coach Darren are great. My son loves them but he is afraid of the owner from the way heā€™s seen him yell at other kids over silly things. Been coming here for about 7months. My son did get a fungal infection the second week here from borrowing their boxing gloves so by the next week I got him his own pair. The other day the owner came in telling us(parents) about where we should/shouldnā€™t park talking about heā€™s told us over and over and this was honestly the first time myself and any of the parents there at the time had heard about it. We went out to go move the cars while the kids were in class, we didnā€™t realize some of the kids(under 6yo) ran out behind us chasing the cars; it was concerning that they werenā€™t stopped by the owner or his staff at the entrance since they knew why the parents were stepping out. Also, he couldā€™ve been more professional in the way he let us know. I do feel he could have a better approach when dealing with the younger kids as sometimes itā€™s clear heā€™s irritated. Lastly itā€™s ridiculously hot. Not sure if the AC doesnā€™t work or if they choose not to turn it on but itā€™s over 100F outside. It heats up inside the building and the 42ā€ commercial fan only does so much in such a large building. The kids are running back and forth in their class and itā€™s just too hot in there that after class my son says he feels nauseated. For the price we pay here wish theyā€™d at least turn on the AC

I came for a free session to see if I like the training and I do the kids have physical contact which is important. The young instructor is actually really good, he treats them respectfully and in a manner where they wonā€™t do any drama. They wonā€™t over an entire sequence. We will be signing the youngling up. We read the negative review and reply and the way the owner addressed the issue directly is a big reason why I am joining. My advice come and do an intro class, see that it is real with good people and sign up if you like donā€™t if you donā€™t or your child is not ready. For me my kid must understand to defend himself especially in Las Vegas. I like this place. It is no Lifetime fitness but I donā€™t see any winning belts their either. I do here.

The staff are very friendly and are great to talk to. Everyone such as staff and students are very welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place to people who want to have a place to learn with no judgment

Been coming here for almost 2 years now. When I first started Krav Maga I was over weight, self conscious and just plain scared of life. Fast forward 2 years later and I am now in the best shape in my life, confident and have a skill set to defend my self. The instructors here are honest and are experts in their fields. There is no doubt you have to work hard to see results, but it is worth it. The gym is spacious and there are plenty of equipment for every training scenario. Plus if you are a member you get access to amazing seminars taught by elite officers and soldiers. Forget about Karate and other martial arts where you pay $50 for a black belt. If you are looking for REAL self defense that can save your life. If you are looking for a reason to be proud of your self. If you are looking to be apart of an amazing tribe of warriors, then look no further. Las Vegas Krav Maga 702 is were you need to be.

I joined up with them back in July and truly enjoyed every single minute of every class. You will learn extremely useful techniques that will be applicable to real life situationsā€¦ The instructors will work you like a dog - Ive seen a few people have to take a knee or relieve themselves from trainingā€¦ I was in extremely good shape before the classes and found myself challenged to the point of almost passing out in my first few Krav classes. Sadly for me, I felt I need more time to dedicate to this kind of practice, with me having too much going on with work and school, I have to pull back at least for a year until schools done, but I will return to them as soon as I graduate. These guys are awesome, and will treat you like family. Also, I know I see the review about the owner, but he is honestly one of my personal favorites - Donovan is real with it. Which, tough love is what we need in this.. Your going to MMA classes.

My first time coming in today. Was invited by my boy Nick P and wasn't really sure what to expect.Ā  Tired out the Muy Thai class @630. We worked on some low kicks, jabs, jab combos and it was intense in a great way.Ā  The cardio I got from it was amazing. The coaching, instruction and on the spot coaching made me feel real good. Everyone received feedback from the coach. Donavon Britt, the Founder and Chief Instructor, was our coach for the class.Ā  Great knowledge and will boost your confidence quickly. They offer a ton of classes, day and night.Ā  And I would highly recommend anyone looking for a great place to learn and grow to come check this place out.

I felt nervous when I first decided to start learning Krav Maga, so I visited LVKM to observe a class. The instructor was so detailed and encouraging in his teaching that I knew the school was the one for me. Additionally, it's apparent that they know that they are doing, as the coaches have worked in fields that require strong backgrounds in self-defense. Furthermore, the school is kept quite clean, which is a big deal for me. Even though I felt nervous at the start of every class, by the end of warm-ups I felt like I belonged there just as much as everyone else. I appreciate that they value their students who come from a multitude of backgrounds. Did I mention I was postpartum and quite weak at the time? However, the coaches pushed me just enough that I got noticeably stronger the more I practiced. Basically, I am learning the fundamental skill of self-defense while doing a great work-out. This is great because I have the attention span of a gerbil and going to the gym is a huge bore. I highly recommend LVKM and applaud their training model.

This is the Krav Maga school to train at, we have top notch coaches so you know that the training is legit. There are no tough guys or people with big egos thinking they are the biggest baddest ones in there. It is the friendliest place to get punched, the students that train here come from all walks of life and about half of the students are women. The training is no joke it's very hard but you will enjoy it because it prepares you for a real attack. You just have to come down here and train to understand how awesome this place is. GET SOME!!!

They have a nice facility, but they don't keep it warm in wintertime which can lead to injury. Furthermore, the coaches are young, so explaining how older individuals need to be careful while warming up won't register. Overall, I got the impression that people over 35 should probably look for somewhere else to train. I should also mention that their pricing was pretty hefty, so running the heater to make their gym not feel like an icebox should be within their means.

JIU JITSU NOT FOR NEWBIES. Long story short I started new(because in the one day trial theyā€™re EXTRA nice) and had to spar with purple and blue belts twice my size until one day I got injured and couldnā€™t go back. Explained it to the receptionist when she called me. They asked for proof. I didnā€™t have insurance, so no means to get proof. They sent my account to collections and ruined my credit. Enter at your own risk. Theyā€™re ā€œgonna get paid no matter what.ā€ Straight from the owners mouth. There is no beginner class, all belts mixed in, and you can tell they donā€™t want to deal with it. YEARS LATER I AM STILL INJURED. THANKS! LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!

Great class would highly recommend! Informative instruction and attention to help students in class. Facility is really nice and big! Iā€™m experienced in Krav from another city and really enjoyed this place and would definitely attend regularly if I was in town.

My son has been coming here for a year and the transformation has been amazing. He was very shy , got bullied and we decided it was time for a self defense class and anti bully program. This gym helped his confidence , strength , ability (physical and mental strength) & better yet , gave us another family. Coach Dylan is amazing along with the one and only Coach Donovan. If youā€™re looking for a gym , this is it.

After being a student here for 3 years, I can't describe how much this place has impacted my life. I originally signed up to learn some self-defense, but I ended up gaining so much more. I met so many amazing coaches, made great friends, and overall became a stronger, better person. I even started regularly attending their jujitsu classes, which I never saw myself doing. I recently moved to another part of town, so I had to end my membership because of the distance. But I fully intend on attending drop-in classes anytime I'm in the area, and I highly recommend this place to everyone who's looking for a gym to call home. As I typed this review, I am holding back tears. Las Vegas Combat Academy (current name) will always have a special place in my heart. Shoutout to coaches Darren, Dylan, Tracy, Chad, Joe, Ricky, and Derek. You're some of the most phenomenal people I've ever met, and I'm truly honored to have the opportunity to learn from you. And HUGE thanks to owners Donavin and Judy. Please keep doing what you're doing. The world needs it.

Great place, caring staff. The owner took the time with my child to explain the whole process, and to a 13-year-old, I was impressed.

2 stars because website said their was a black friday promo and when a rep texted me they said that was only for kids. Then after replying back surprised, they ghosted me. 2 stars for customer service and misleading website.

This gym is amazing and offers a variety of classes. It doesnt matter if you are an expert or a beginner, they treat you the same with respect and kindness. Everyone (instructors and members) are so welcoming and helpful. I especially love that there is pretty much equal amount of women and men, boys and girls in each class.
