Had
to
meet
some
fam
up
while
in
Vegas
&
thus
ended
up
here.
Not
that
it's
horrible
or
anything,
but
I
pretty
much
never
go
to
Olive
Garden.
But
this
meal
was
fine,
service
was
great.
&
The
soup
&
bread
sticks
really
are
that
good.
ITEM'S
ORDERED:
Got
something
light
since
I
was
going
to
the
buffet
that
night.
Ended
up
going
with
Grilled
Chicken
Margherita
(w/
Zuppa
Toscana
Soup)
while
the
gf
ordered
Shrimp
Scampi
(w/
salad)
TASTE:
Everything
was
very
hot
&
fresh.
Honestly
more
so
than
I've
had
at
some
smaller
independent
restaurants.
Props
to
the
OG
for
that.
The
Grilled
Chicken
Margherita
was
decently
made.
Came
with
2
pieces
of
chicken
which
I
was
surprised
about
at
first
but
then
remembered
the
meal
was
basically
$20
so
it
made
sense
then.
It's
topped
with
tomatoes,
mozzarella,
basil
pesto
&
lemon
garlic
sauce.
Comes
with
a
side
of
parmesan
garlic
broccoli.
Flavor
on
the
chicken
was
not
bad,
maybe
a
little
too
sour
to
me
because
of
the
lemon
&
tomato.
Actually
seemed
a
little
oily
even
though
it
was
a
lower
calorie
entree.
But
it
does
have
cheese,
pesto
&
I'm
pretty
sure
some
butter.
Broccoli
was
basically
steamed
broccoli
with
some
parmesan
sprinkled
on
top.
The
Shrimp
Scampi
was
just
ok.
I
mean
you're
not
at
the
local
seafood
market
on
the
water
so
don't
expect
some
plump
juicy
shrimp.
More
the
type
of
smaller,
uniformly
sized
shrimp
you
buy
in
the
frozen
aisle.
Taste
was
alright
though
but
not
as
butter
heavy
as
other
scampis
I've
had
since
this
is
a
lower
calorie
entree.
The
pasta
would
have
better
if
it
was
a
little
more
al
dente.
The
gf
really
liked
the
salad
&
I
agree
it
was
very
fresh
&
I'd
get
it
again.
Glad
to
see
they
still
have
the
Zuppa
Toscana
soup
since
to
me
(along
with
fresh
bread
sticks)
it
was
the
star
of
the
meal.
The
soup
is
cream
based
but
a
much
thinner
version
than
like
a
clam
chowder.
Nice
savory
flavor
from
the
spicey
sausage
just
as
I
remember.
Glad
that
the
potatoes
still
had
a
little
bite
&
weren't
mushy.
The
fresh
bread
sticks
together
with
the
soup
is
literally
why
I'd
go
back
to
the
OG.
PROTIP:
Ask
for
bread
sticks
without
salt
to
get
the
freshest
ones.
They
come
salted
standard
so
you'll
get
really
fresh
warm
ones
if
you
ask
for
no
salt.
SERVICE,
LOCATION
&
PARKING:
Service
was
very
friendly
&
attentive
at
this
OG.
The
waitress
was
very
much
on
top
of
things
which
was
great.
This
OG
is
located
on
the
Westside,
on
S
Decatur
(&
Oakey).
If
you
know
the
area,
it's
close
to
that
indoor
swap
meet.
Parking
is
very
easy
since
they
have
their
own
parking
lot.
Not
a
bad
experience,
but
I
don't
see
myself
returning
to
the
OG
anytime
soon.
But
if
I
do
I
hope
to
receive
this
same
great
service
&
I'll
probably
just
eat
the
soup
&
bread
sticks.
They
are
worth
the
calories.
