This place is awesome! Smaller store with a smaller store feel. Since I’ve started started shopping here I have gotten used to seeing familiar faces of the same friendly and helpful employees. They’re always open to answering my questions and offering help. Recently they even adopted a large hermit crab that had outgrown my aquarium. They have a good selection of livestock and supplies and the store seems very well kept. This is the only place that gets my money for anything aquarium related.

Just look at the responses the owner leaves to bad reviews. These responses are something I wish so badly I would have looked at,before trusting them with the life of our sweet, aquatic treasure. This store owner has a BIG ego. His blindness to his incompetence is why our lil treasure showed up DOA. I understand mistakes happen. HOWEVER, when You are called and asked “do you ship fish, specifically, puffers?” And they confidently tell you “yes, all of the time.” (Being semi new to the hobby and never having shipped a fish, we felt more comfortable allowing someone with experience and confidence in their ability to do so.) Aquatic Treasures was generous in that they packaged Qwasi for free(I guess u can count the one star for this part.). This is something I really appreciated,at the time. Especially since shipping him overnight, with a guaranteed noon arrival (this would mean he was in a box for a total of 20hours) cost $250 through ups. Where things went completely left was in his packaging. He knew we were coming, had everything prepared (he doubled bagged him with pure oxygen, which gave me more confidence in the shipping process) and a nice thick styrofoam box ready to go. BUT, Qwasi was packed and taped up before we could even look in the box to see how he was specifically packaged (my BIGGEST regret was not opening that box to make sure an experienced fish shipper, as he claimed, didn’t do something completely inadequate, like put a rubber band around a bag of water!!). Did you expect the water NOT to leak out?!?!?!?! Seriously, What were you thinking would happen!?! Why in this universe would you “seal” a bag of water with a rubber band, with no knot or knots(a bag that you laid on its side, perfect for the water to just leak out of…which is exactly what happened) Rubber bands ARE NOT a seal. Try tying knots next time you don’t want DOA fish. The zip lock bag of plants next to Qwasi, did not leak(our own packaging). Once shipped, Every bit of water leaked out of Qwasi’s bag (Now, all we keep imagining is him thrashing and suffocating to death. It’s absolutely atrocious, to keep imagining.) and when it is such an obvious NO(the rubber band…).there is no excuse for this. LEARN how to package fish correctly before making a generous offer of packaging him for free(or for money). It’s not about the money when it’s a life. To top it off, you talked bad about the other stores in town, saying, “they would charge for this, they are all suffering, but not us” I would have Happily gave you whatever money you needed to package him in a way that he would arrive alive. I bet you those “suffering” fish stores could have packed Qwasi and he would be alive today. In my experience with all the shops, yours is the worst, most arrogant, and your inability to see and admit when you make a mistake will be the downfall of your store. You have not been open long, That’s your ego getting a little too big again. The bags were heavily inspected upon arrival. There are no holes in the bags, just a rubber band tied around empty bags. (Dragon puffers to not have spikes or teeth so he wouldn’t puncture the bag anyway, when he did puff. All I see is a very smart fish suffering, gasping, and suffocating in the bag. I’m dumbstruck by the stupidity that cost our lil dude his life. He died a very painful ☠️ death 💀, thanks to you. This is on you, 💯! ! He was less than one year old. His life taken 10-15 years early. Please please save yourself the anguish and do NOT trust them with shipping (in general) but it is extra painful because he was our pet. I don’t know how to end this. You murdered our pet, man. RIP QWASI, you are terribly missed and so so loved 💕 💕 ✨ ✨ 🐉 🐡 ⛅️🌧 My happiness place quarantines every single fish, will refuse the sell until the fish are definitely healthy. (Advice for all those who buy sick fish that die from you) I Would have shipped through my happiness place, but did not realize they closed on Thursday’s and time was of the essence. More so than I could have imagined :’(!!

This place never disappoints. Never fails. Top notch customer service. The owners daughter is very helpful and knowledgeable. This is not just your typical fish supplies store. They have everything with reasonable prices. It’s always good to support local business that’s about the customers. Deserves more than 5 stars. We come here for everything. They take good care of their product. They even have a rewards program. Having saltwater as hobby can be overwhelming but this place have been our saving grace. Thank you please support your local business and support businesses that is about your community. 💪🔥

I think the employees here drink the salt water. Like, they are all very strange people or incredibly high. Or both. Probably both. At least the place is clean and the fish seem healthy? If you ever forget what aptasia looks like their tanks will remind you.

Thought this place was really cool at first until I went to get it SALT water to do a water change. I noticed almost immediately something didn’t look right when I put the water I had just purchased into my tank I called them and they informed me that one of the employees whose name I do not know has been accidentally giving people freshwater instead of salt water. The guy gave me a few free gallons of salt water and told me to take pictures of anything in my tank that died and they would help me out. I went back to get some more salt water about a week later and showed him the pictures of one torch coral that died he essentially told me it’s not their fault and he had already helped me. That would’ve been fine had he not told me specifically to take pictures. This incident has completely changed how I feel about this place they are overpriced rude cheap. They do not take accountability for the actions of their employees definitely would avoid. Also they are a salt water fish store how hard is it to get salt water right?

Killed my puffer fish they packaged for me to ship. Didn’t know the bag and every drop leaked out and my pet puffer is shriveled and dry. I can’t imagine such incompetence. The laziness is crazy. Screw this place. Arrogant from the start making fun of struggling aquarium stores had a ZIPLOCK full of plants made it but not both layers of plastic. PATHETIC. Moron rubber banded the bags and they both leaked out.

Great place to buy coral and fish. I love coming here very friendly staff always ready to help. Doesn't hurt that they always have great deals too!

The only fish store in the area that is strictly Saltwater. The place is great for newbies and veterans. Prices tend to be reasonable and they have deals all the time. One of the best things about this place is the knowledge of the staff. They will try their best to not let your tank become a disaster. Also the pre-made salt water they sell is a lifesaver if you don't have the patience to make it yourself.

Give 2 stars because staff were nice. Bought few fish one died 2nd day, went back they replaced the fish and purchased more they all were dead within next 2 weeks. Will not return again especially after hearing from others about their fish and selling sick fish. I did notice that they had a lot of fish that were swimming sideways and some look like missing fins and/or part of tails.

Needed emergency help with a snail who'd outgrown its shell. Knowing full well that i wasnt buying anything from their store , the lady on the phone gave me step by step info on how to help the poor thing. I had been too late, but now feel confident and am better informed for future events. I plan to visit soon.

About a month ago I bought an axolotl and it is currently fine and healthy. They were the only store to have them when I was calling all over Vegas pet stores to find one (either had none or the black ones, and I was searching for an albino, which I got from this store). Although they sell axolotls for double the price compared to other stores there’s no mistaking that it was worth it!

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! REAP OFF, RUDE CREW, THEY WILL SELL ANYTHING TO SELL THEIR PRODUCT, WORSE THAN CAR DELAERS! AFTER SPENDING $2,500 ONE STOP SHOP, THEY WON'T LET ME RETURN A $100 FILTER ITEM THAT WONT WORK.

Literally the place I go to for all my fish and corals. Love this place and staff is always super friendly and super helpful. I have a 125 g Set up and have received a lot of deals and help in this store. Love the fish selection and love the staff, super helpful and not annoyed at helping someone out who is not an expert in Reef Tanks

I grew up in Hawaii and had many saltwater tanks in my life. This shop was really cool, and if I ever start up another one this is where I will go. Nice coral nursey to. I took my friend when he was visiting, he's a big fish guy to and was also impressed.

Beautiful, well maintained aquariums throughout with a wide variety of marine life and knowledgeable staff. I came in looking for a freshwater thing, which they don't carry, but if I ever make the leap to saltwater, I'm coming here.

  • 5/5 Nipun M. 4 years ago on Google
The staff at the store is really supportive. I have come across a lot of saltwater hobbyists that have large tanks and initial setups costing $4-5000 and they just look down on a newbie. But this place kept my interest up, even though I started out with a budget build. I want to single out Mitchell. He's been a great help every time I go to the store. He stopped me from overstocking, gave me an honest opinion, told me all about all in one systems. 5 minutes with him were same as 1 hour of online research. Thanks again for keeping my interest up.

Good selection and pricing for animals. I was in recently to pick up a couple fish after a tank upgrade. Mitch caught both for me and was so reckless and careless with the specimen container and bagging. If you plan to visit, observe the employees’ techniques before you agree to have them “help” you.
