I had a much better experience than other reviewers, or find less reason to find fault with issues. There's not much luxury here, but this is a MEDICAL testing facility! Employees were helpful and kind, especially during the registration when I had a lot of questions. They have a TV and fan in the room, give you all the info you need, and are available to help you all night long. The restroom IS down the hall so bring appropriate 2pc pajamas you can wear comfortably in front of others (techs are watching you all night anyway), and if you're extremely worried or modest, bring a robe/cover-up you can throw over your shoulders. (It would be hard to put all the way on with the wires) Frankly I'm just glad we don't have to wear an open back scratchy gown! The bathroom is very nice, but I didn't need it during the night so it wasn't a concern. Just used it before the testing electrodes, etc were applied and before leaving early in the a.m. For me that was around 9:45pm to 5:45am. Just don't drink a lot that afternoon, and skip the caffeine so you can sleep. This is not like a hotel room, but the full size bed is so much better than a hospital bed. I brought two pillows from home, but didn't really use them. It's NOT a comfy or fun test because of the amount of testing wires and potential to feel anxious, but they get the job done well and with kindness, reassurance, and professionalism. (One final tip, especially for long hair- wash it and any other sticky areas- with dawn dish soap to get the conductor goo out and then wash with regular shampoo and conditioner and soap. ) It appears there is a long wait for results so be prepared for that. This isn't a terrible facility. It's not fancy, but it's much nicer than most medical testing areas.

After reading many negative reviews, I was initially expecting the same, but my experience was mainly positive. The service was great, but please be advised that you are not going to have a good night there. Once you have zillions of wires glued to you, it won't be easy to fall asleep, but once you sleep, they will gain valuable information on your sleep pattern. Please know that it is not an easy job to be up all night, monitor you, and attend you each time you need something. They lose their sleep so that you get help with yours. I appreciate the dedication these folks put into their work. On the downside, the reminder call for the appointment came in at 6:30am that morning, which doesn't make sense. Waking up the patients that early, who seemingly need help with their sleep, well, that is not right. Fix it!

no starts.... stay away. Bed is very uncomfortable. Bring your own pillow. Room smells stale. Disgusting place, hard to find since the marquee is silver and blends with the building. No signage on Tenaya to direct to building sitting back. Very bad dim lighting in parking lot.

Unhelpful staff. I had to take a day off from work to have the sleep study during the sleep study someone tripped the fire alarm and we had to evacuate the building the response time for evacuating was horrible and took longer than it should have thankfully it wasnt an actual fire. I was told they couldnt turn off the alarm so they told everyone to reschedule and we would get a refund due to the circumstances. I called back a few days later due to the holiday weekend and im told i have 45 days to reschedule or forfeit my refund i just started a new job i cant ask for more time off. Not to mention they keep the code for the door right on the front door to the building leaving the patients vulnerable to any predators. This place should be shut down if not the worst facility of healthcare definately in the top 3.

I had my sleep study last night and I have to say that I had a very pleasant experience. My tech, Mari, was extremely friendly and professional. The wires were uncomfortable, but that was to be expected. The bed was comfortable enough, and the noise level was kept to a minimum. At one point, it felt too quiet and I had to turn on a bit of music on my phone. I would recommend this place to all of my friends and family members. Thank you guys!

The room was extremely spartan--not even a place to put your clothes or belongings. Terrible access to rest room facilities. Person administering the test was much more personable at the beginning of the test-very abrupt at the end. I could have lived with the poor facilities if the test results had been provided when promised. I spoke to my doctor's office this morning and was told that test results were now promised in 4 to 6 weeks instead of 3 to 4 weeks. I was also told that this was the only Medicare provider in the Las Vegas area. They appear to feel customer service is unnecessary when you have a captive market.

The first time I went they were very professional. The second time I went was a totally different story. I had to ask to put my pajamas on. They never gave me a chance to turn even turn down the bed. I slept on top of the blanket and sheets all night. The first time they did a couple short tests to make sure the equipment was hooked up properly. They didn't even bother to do that the second time. I have to wonder if they even did a proper sleep study the second time. I feel like it was a total waste of time. I have never been to a less professional medical facility.

Initial at home study was fine but didn't involve the assistance of any employee. In office sleep was fair at best. Three others scheduled at the same time so I waited until after 10pm to be connected but was required to be there at 830pm. The technician was friendly and professional but did not have ay information about the results of the sleep study and was not able to have any discussion about the study. He stated that I was there to determine the required settings for the machine, which was never discussed with anyone. After the results of both were returned to my Primary and I had questions I was referred back to the office. The person who was supposed to answer my questions was dismissive and not helpful. My goal is to determine the cause of the sleep problems not just put a mask on. I am willing to wear a mask if that is the only option but wanted to explore other alternatives first. Would never go back and would never recommend. I will also let my insurer know that the experience was horrible and there was no effort to determine cause and resolve at the root.

Nice place. Had a TV, fans for people to use. Technician explained everything. I knew the old comments on this place had to be old. I was there on 3-15-2019 Totally recommend. Don't remember technician name but she had some cool ink. Good job folks.

Where do I begin! This was one of the worst experiences I have had getting a test done. This is not a sleep center this is a keep you awake Center! The room was freezing cold, an employee was coughing right by my door the whole time I was trying to sleep, the bed was horrible, the employees were cleaning out a closet at 3:00 AM and banging boxes and who knows what and talking as loud as possible I finally asked to go home super frustrated and exhausted I will probably need a machine after that sleep study! NOT! I want a retest and my money back!

I had a sleep study here, the study was professional and the tech was very nice. I'm trying to reach them to request a copy of my study and my clinic and myself can not get thru. They need to give a person the chance to leave a message since they're not in the office more during usual business hours. I've been waiting over a year for my CPAP machine because I can't reach anyone

They have issues answering their phone, but when you do actually schedule a sleep study it's nice. Their only problem is really communication from the office. They need to tell people beforehand that when you do the at home sleep study that you'll be required to bring it back at like 8AM the next day. I ended up having to Uber there which was very expensive. When I did the overnight sleep study, the technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. The bed they provided was comfortable, and the room was nice and quiet.

Absolute worst experience that I have ever had. You literally pay someone to torture you. The walls are paper thin, there is light coming in under the door, the beds are hard, and the place is very rundown.

Recently did a sleep study at the Southern Nevada Sleep Center and had a really good experience! I was concerned about going after reading some negative reviews online, but I'm so very glad I gave it a chance. I visited the facility a few days before the sleep study and met Misty (staff) who explained the entire process, gave me a tour and offered insights for avoiding caffeine the day of the study. Glad I took her advice. I fell asleep quickly and felt safe in the environment. Mari (staff observer) was friendly, patient and very knowledgeable about the real reason I was there overnight in the first place - sleep apnea. After all, I wasn't expecting a posh hotel room and a pedicure, I simply needed someone to closely study my sleep habits and teach me ways to deal with my condition. Mari did just that and reassured my concerns while keeping me as comfortable as possible with all the wires/leads required to complete the study. And, now I understand why "good sleep" truly makes all the difference the next day. Short of serving donuts for breakfast, I couldn't have asked for anything more.
