I am so happy and grateful to have found The Las Vegas Farm for our wedding venue! The Farm is such an amazing, beautiful and peaceful place and you can tell all the animals there are so calm and happy. What is great is all proceeds go towards the caring and feeding of the animals. Everyone at The Farm worked so hard to make our big day so incredible and magical and it really did show! The peacocks running around and making noise made the whole day so much more special and lively. Best day ever thanks to The Farm!!!

Great place to visit and help support the care of farm animals that need sanctuary. This place has a great fall festival that provides fresh produce. All proceeds and donations go to continuing the care for all of the animals and the upkeep of the property. They are supportive of the military and first responders as well. Highly recommend for a great day with the family.

I’ve always enjoyed visiting and supporting local farmers markets. Here you’ll find a myriad of different eggs, jams, produce, bake goods and honey. After shopping you can visit the animal farm ($10.00 entrance fee), located in the rear of the market. There you’ll find an array of animals from Cows, Chickens, Ducks, Horses, goats, llamas and much more. There are over 100 animals on site and food is available for purchase should you want to feed them. This is a fantastic family day outing and a place that children will enjoy. A word of caution, you are walking on dirt and some animals do run freely around the market, so, I wouldn’t wear shoes you don’t want to get dirty.

Toddler approved. The LV farm sells fresh eggs, raw honey, fruits, vegetables, handmade aprons and more are available here. Small donation for a grand experience. My little family and I had a great, first-time experience feeding and petting all the animals that allowed us to do so! The entire farm is cozy, clean and well-organized. The staff and volunteers are very kind and diligent. The animals ranged from cats, turtles, tortoises, turkeys, chickens, pigs, cows, horses, alpacas, sheep, and peacocks! They have special parking for veterans and active-duty personnel, a urinal and a humble hand-washing station. Highly recommend coming as soon as they open or when the sun isn't too high so you can spend most of the morning here. If heat isn't an issue for you, they're open from 9-4pm on the weekends!

Took my 2 kids and MIL today. We had such a great time. The staff was amazing and so friendly. The animals were super fun, the pigs were napping around 9:30 when we arrived, but I think all other animals were up and ready for some treats. Don’t forget quarters for the goat food. I mistakenly only bought the hay bags and the goats wanted the treats out of the gumball type machine. Seriously the best day weather wise to be there. My MIL loves goats and had so much fun with the kids (both hers and the goats)

This is a really nice, clean farm. It is definitely a hidden gem here in Las Vegas and definitely recommend visiting. They have a large selection of fresh fruits, pies, jams and eggs and a very nice area to walk through and feed tons of animals hay. They also provide hand washing stations through out the farm.

We took our little one to see, touch and feed the farm animals. A good time was had by all! The entrance fees go directly towards taking care of the animals, which are rescues!

Such a friendly place! Fresh fruits and vegetables and delicious baked goods. I got lemon blueberry pound cake and some other items, can't wait to enjoy them. If you like cats, and chickens, the place is full of them and they add such a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. There's also a petting zoo for kids and the young at heart! I'll definitely be going back.

I love this place! I always have. Took my daughter and her friend to enjoy her 5th birthday here, as she loves animals. We really enjoyed all of the animals. You can purchase bags of alfalfa to feed the animals. We must have gone back for refills 7 or 8 times! I'd love to volunteer my time to help as soon as my schedule frees up to do so.

The Vegas Farm feels like a 'locals' spot to take the kids, but has the charm you would expect in a smaller sized petting zoo. They have a good number of vegetables and local processed honey, and also a lot of peacocks and farm animals. If you are wanting a nice place to have an outdoor birthday party for your children, this is it! Be advised it is only open on Saturdays, and one should wear boots instead of heels.

October 2021: I loved it so much. I want to go back. Many of their animals are free roam and there's a small fee to go pet/feed the animals but it's 1000% worth it. Employees are so friendly and overall very chill, I'd say that the cats are the best employees. Hand feeding the cows and horses were great since most of them were all very sweet and lovely ladies and gentlemen. Welcoming environment, fantastic experience for kids. MASK RECOMMENDED! As there's a lot of hay and dust being kicked up and it SERIOUSLY helped. I personally bought the large honey jar ($20) and strawberry preserves ($7) as they have a $20 minimum charge on cards. All around an amazing worthwhile trip. Edit March 2022: Came back again for more honey, pet more cats. Pet my favorite cow, spotted some eggs. Overall a lovely place and I still recommend going!

I loved the Farm! There is a petting zoo for kids with lots of animals. There is also a nice Farmers Market with fresh vegetables and jarred jellies, jams and other foods.

Nice market with fruits and veges, homemade jams, and even pies. It's a bit pricey, but it's for a good cause... to feed the animals! Feeding the animals was such fun. My granddaughter loved it! Nice place to spend a couple of hours 😊

Great place to see. This is a rescue sanctuary. If you are looking for dogs, there are none this is more farm animals. They also have a farmers market where you can buy fresh eggs, jelly, honey, breads and pies. The staff is volunteers and very nice. Lots of cats in the beginning that love attention. You can donate $10 a person and see all the animals in the sanctuary. You can also buy food to feed the animals for $2. All money goes for the keep of animals.

First off to anyone complaining about the cost of the food or experience surely doesn't understand what it costs to really take care of farm animals and to take the time to bake all the fresh bakery items or pick and clean the fruits and vegetables. Get out and go do some REAL labor. Secondly, when my girlfriend and I went there this past Sunday, we had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect the staff was friendly. The animals that they rescued are all looking as healthy as they can be from their previous lives. We bought a couple of tickets and two hay bags to feed some of the animals. There are cats, exotic birds, chickens, and ducks just cruising around the place. Many are friendly. But like all the signs that are posted everywhere, many say pet them at your own risk. It's understandable because some can be in a bad mood or have had enough attention for the day. It was an amazing experience and a chance to see some of Mother Nature's beautiful animals. Thirdly, we spent about $55 in the market. It is completely worth every penny and more. The apple pie was amazing. The apples inside were crisp, and it wasn't overly sweet. It's definitely worth it. The pumpkin creme cheese roll was also not overly sweet and very dense in weight. The chocolate bread was thick and fluffy and was also not overly sweet and tasted amazing. Haven't tried the apple pie jelly or pickles yet. But I'm just going to take a wild guess and say that they are also amazing. So please take a day and go out to the farm it's worth a visit or more. We plan to go back again. Definitely for the food and to experience the animals again. And a piece of advice that I read from a previous post. Don't hesitate to buy the fresh bakery items. If it looks good, buy it immediately. It may not be there the next time you visit. Lastly, for one sign that I read, it had a very great impact and appreciation of the farm and this great family that helped build Las Vegas, Henderson, and Boulder City for what they are today.

It's a local spot in the NW. They rescue animals and really take care of them. They have a grocery stands with fresh fruits and veggies along with a variety of eggs. They also allow you to see the bunnies for free. For a fee, you can visit the animals. Do this!! The fee goes towards the animals' food and care!! For a couple of bucks, you can buy some hay to share amongst the cows and horses. For 25 cents a handful you get those pellets that the goats, horses, and alpaca love. It was a great Easter Sunday trip for our family. We'll be back! And we hope to volunteer for them, too. We're also hoping they get a liquor license so that at night you can sit in their covered patio area and relax. It's really lovely.

Whaaatttt! Amazing. Goats, chickens, pigs, horses, oh my! Local honey. A cornucopia of apple cider flavors and so many pies. And pesto cheese bread. I didn't buy it, so if someone does, let me know how good it was. Or mail me a loaf. A wonderful organization doing good stuff. Oh yea, you can pet Amy animal and feed them. Just not the pigs. Oh yea!!! Farm cats. Everywhere! All the pets.

Fun place for the kids. We fed goats, horses, cows, and even the llamas. There are chicken and peacocks roaming around. And not to mention getting to buy fresh eggs and fresh fruits and veggies. I also bought some baked goods which were delicious.

I love this farm, very cute, they take credit card but you have to buy over 20$ worth. They have food so you can feed the animals, they let you know what you can't feed beforehand. they ask you wash your hands before and after you leave. They have fresh eggs, fruits, and if you want to buy water you can. Enjoy some pictures.

Super cute little spot! The animals are rescues that you can tell are well loved by the staff, and the little mini market they had was so inviting! Well worth the drive! Family friendly, has handwash stations and shaded seating inside feeding area also. Update: They've remodeled and added more animals, including a lil turtle pond!

Do NOT visit if you are allergic to CATS. 8 acres and over 100 cats (we’re told they have all been neutered.) I wish we would have known before we visited yet nothing was mentioned on their website. I was excited to visit this open air market yet my guest is allergic to cats. Within 10 minutes of visiting this open air farm, he started to have a reaction so we left. I took several photos and looking forward to giving another review when I have a moment to return.

This is an amazing and fun place. I am a big fan of all of the rescued animals, and the people are really friendly. I love the soap I bought and wished I would have bought more because they smell so heavenly. Tons of things to see, animals to help, and truly no donations are too small. These animals need all of the love all of the kindness and care they can get. It's amazing to think that every person working here is a volunteer. Don't debate or wonder if you should go. Just do it! I promise you won't be disappointed!! The baked goods, if you see it, get it! Don't say that you will get it on the way out because it won't be there! This place is fun for all ages!!

This is a great little gem! First, if you have seasonal/dust allergies, consider wearing a mask because they have hay floors. The first time I went, my allergies got really bad. This last time around, I brought a mask! You can see the roosters and tortoises as you walk in, which is really cool. There are tons of cats lounging around. All seem very calm and love just laying about the shelves and baskets. They have animals that you can feed, but I've never done that part. I keep coming back for the farmers market! The first time around, we got a jar of pickles, spicy vegas mix, a caramel apple, and a jar of blackberry apple cider. The pickles were tasty, a bit sour. My husband ate the vegas mix in 2 days! He obviously loved it. The blackberry apple cider was delicious, and I really liked the taste because it wasn't spiced like most ciders. The second time around, I got 2 caramel apples (they are so good), 2 jars of spicy vegas mix, a pumpkin sort of hand pie, and a mini cherry berry pie. One word of advice, if you see something you like and debate on getting it, just get it. Things change, and they may not have what you want next time, I learned the hard way (so sad I missed the sun-dried tomato bread). The prices for everything are I think very reasonable for a farmers market. Roughly $6 per jarred item. Most of the veggies were around $2 per pound, I believe. Try to bring cash if you can, as it helps them out more. This is a great place for kids, but also pretty neat for local 30 somethings who like food and off the beaten path places (like me and my friends lol). I definitely recommend!

This is a great little barn rescue out by Gilcrease Orchard. Most of the animals here are very sweet and love attention. It's a nice place to spend a couple of hours with friends, family, and/or little ones. It is very clean and well kept. Hours vary by season, I believe. There is a fee to get in, but proceeds go towards care for the animals.

This place is great, the couple that runs the farm are the sweetest people out there. I love how they offer the public the chance to see and pet the animals they care for and rescue. The farm fresh produce they sell there is amazing, the local honey is fantastic. The kids loved it and so did the adults. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

Just because you live in a town for over 20 years and think you know it all. Then you find a place like this. It's probably one of the best places for the family to visit. We used to go to Bonnie Springs. Never realized this place existed. This place is amazing with so many rescued animals we had a fantastic time spending time with most of the animals there. The Goats , chickens , horses, cow, ducks and the sweet cats. Plus you can get organic honey, eggs, vegetables all all kinds and fruits. We will be back soon enough!

Such a fun place to visit when you want to feed the animals. Very clean for a farm. They sell the food for you to feed animals. They have a great little farm store also, the local honey is one of my favorites. They have jam, veggies, fruit, baked goods, etc. I do recommend bringing water as it gets hot walking around feeding the animals.

A true farm in the city type experience...cats, peacocks, chickens, you name it. The cats made it memorable. They were truly lazy cats. They all laid around, even on the checkout counter. πŸ˜„ The pickles were great! The produce looks great! They even had fresh meat in their refrigerator. Service was great, as was the atmosphere! The area is safe. The employees were nice. Overall, this is a great place to stop in for the experience, at least.

Took my son, nieces and nephews to the farm to take them off their mothers hand for the day, they had a blast, seems a bit overwhelming with paying the price for little available animals to have fun with. Train wasn't running, and the maze was blocked off. My kiddos were sad they couldn't go in the maze. They had fun feeding and petting the llamas. Farmers market was wonderful, and I bought some honey that ended up being consumed by the end of the weekend. They were already out of eggs. Over all very nice place

We came here thinking it was a pumpkin patch, but it turned out to be a small farmer's market of sorts! You get to go to the market for free (where we bought our pumpkins), but there's an area where you pay to enter and you get to see (and maybe interact with) a variety of animals on the farm! I'm not too sure on the details of the second part because we only went into the market itself, but regardless of which area you went into, you saw and interacted with plenty of animals like cats, chickens, and peacocks. This place was delightful and I will be going back to try their selection of breads and other goodies. They also have an adorable section where you can buy goodies or treats for the various animals on the farm (see pictures)!

Easy to find in a beautiful setting close to the mountains. It was very busy when we visited on a early Sunday afternoon. We paid our $30+ dollars (3 Adults and one toddler) and purchased two bags of hay to feed the farm animals. The staff lets you know ahead of time what animals one can feed ... there weren't as many animals as we thought there would be, but our grandson enjoyed feeding the ones he could. Our grandson was interested in the train ride, but we felt $5 to go around in a circle a few times was a bit much, so we decided we had paid enough honesty. It's a good experience for children to see a variety of animals from chickens, cows, pigs, lamas, ponies and more.

Great spot for family fun!! Went on a field trip with my daughter's school and we had the whole place to ourselves. We got to feed cows, rabbits, goats, llamas, and chickens! They solely run on donations so there's no restroom since all their money goes to helping the animals. They also have a little market where you can buy fresh jams, vegetables, fruit, and eggs. My 5 year old is begging to go back.

  • 5/5 King M. 2 years ago on Google
This place is fun. The animals seem well taken care of and happy, and the market area sells vegetables and jams/preserves. There are a bunch of cats hanging around the shop area, and chickens and peacocks walking around like they own the place. A nice little experience for the kids.

I love the farm! The place is very clean and the animals are well taken care of and happy. I buy eggs there because they are delicious and come from chicken that are well fed and get to roam free outdoors and die of old age. There is also a selection of organically grown fruits and vegetables. Being around the happy healthy animals makes me happy and the staff is great! Very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!
