So glad we booked a reservation at YU-OR-MI! We were so hungry and didn’t know what to order, we asked our server for the most popular vegetarian starter and we were served the Crispy Brussel Sprouts. I’m a huge fan and they were delicious. On to our sushi, our eyes were bigger than our stomachs! My husband ordered the California, Caterpillar, Dragon, and Spinach while I tried the Avocado, Vegan Inari Roll, and Popai Roll. Both special rolls VIR and PR were amazing, I loved the creativity. We are beyond happy we chose sushi in the Arts District and not on the strip. Thanks YU-OR-MI!

Very nice boutique style sushi. Everything was delicious. Especially enjoyed the roulette roll where one was extra spicy but you don't know which one. Great menu options and friendly waitress.

Absolutely superb service from Jo, plus all the other staff was great as well as well. Not a huge menu but the perfect variety. We happened to catch happy hour just before it ended so that was a nice surprise. Everything was fresh and tasty. We really liked the crispy rice items. Oysters were big and fresh. We plan on coming in the future to try the other regular menu items as we couldn't pass up taking advantage of happy hour. Yes, it might be a little more expensive but everything has gotten more expensive everywhere and the quality and service is way way better than any of the AYCE places. We spent about $50pp during happy hour including cocktails.

I cannot say enough good things about Yu-Or-Mi, the team and the food! My (now) husband and got married in Vegas a few days ago and we had six family members in attendance. We wanted to do something special, but easy, for dinner with the group immediately following the ceremony. We’re big sushi people, so it felt very “us” to celebrate our union with sushi. I reached out to Yu-Or-Mi by email to ask if they could accommodate our group on a Sunday evening and would allow me to pre-order some starters and rolls in advance, just to make everything easier the evening of, and they were happy to make it happen. Johnny and Danielle were so easy to work with via email and by phone. We’re not big dessert people, but being slightly traditional, I wanted a “wedding cake” and because Yu-Or-Mi does not specialize in dessert they invited us to order from the bakery next door and they would even go pick it up for us. We actually ended up DoorDashing a cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory the evening before and they kept it in their fridge overnight and pulled it out and even served it when it was time. Everyone was so lovely, everything flowed seamlessly, and the food was phenomenal. I think we had almost every roll on the menu. The fish is fresh and the flavor combinations on point! Second to our wedding ceremony, our dinner at Yu-Or-Mi was the best part of our 5-day vacation in Vegas and I honestly cannot thank them enough for making our day that much more perfect!

If you want sushi while down in the Arts District then there is nowhere else to go! This place was phenomenal! The lunch special was great, and I have never had Miso soup worth bragging about until having YU-OR-MI’s! The service was equally as good as the food was too!

Pretty good sushi in a cool side street area with other options around too. Loved the sushi options. The prices were not too bad, either. The waitress was nice in helping explain some of them and recommending ones we might like. Will definitely be back next time we're in Vegas. Be sure to circle around for nearby parking. Not easy, but not nearly as bad as other parts of Vegas. This place got good reviews, so that's why we chose it. We weren't disappointed.

Not sure why this place is so highly rated. We were really looking forward to trying out some of the dishes here but it really wasn't good. We started with the "deconstructed" miso soup which was basically just warm water with a few mushrooms and the miso paste on the side. It was extremely bland. Next was the kama karaage. Not good. The fish didn't have much flavor at all The last was the yellowtail tartare. All we could taste was the sesame oil The service was very good though but unfortunately that wasn't enough to make up for the bad food. Maybe they were just off this night? We will never know. The bakery next door was really good though!

Never disappoints us. We are from.AZ. We wish they would open one here. Loved it as aways. Yes they have alot of cooked items as well.We got a desert assortment and fell in love with the green ⁷ and the fluffy covered ice creams. Try it. It is so worth your detour from The Strip to the Art District.

The food tasted great, but some portions were a bit small. The place and the location were alright. You may occasionally run into a panhandler on the surrounding streets so don’t be surprised by it. But, the area is a great place to hang out at night!

INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!! Our server was amazing! So patient and kind. We came in with 4 little kids and they were so understanding. They brought some rice, avocado and seaweed for them to make their own sushi while they waited. The quality was AMAZING!!!! Absolutely fantastic!! And at the end I got confused about what we ordered and accidentally had them take off an order of tuna. When I realized I was wrong, they refused to charge us for it, even though I was the one in the wrong and tried to pay for it. I haven’t experienced service like this in a long time. YOU HAVE TO COME HERE!!!

Hands down the best meal I've had in the Las Vegas Arts District. World traveled foodie friends from out of town agreed it was the best Sushi they have ever had. There is something on the menu for everyone even for those hesitant to try Sushi. The meal was full-flavored and filling. I had the Shoyu Ramen with chicken, baby bok choy, mushrooms, seasoned egg and seaweed with several selections from the sharable menu including crispy brussels sprout leaves and traditional salmon roll. The price was amazingly reasonable for the quality of food and service. The place is not too large, the environment comfortably upscale.

Very welcoming upon arrival. Jo (spelling?) was the absolute best. She was very attentive, helpful and showed us her amazing personality. The food was delicious (I ordered shrimp tempura roll and garlic rice). It had wonderful presentation and was very tasty. The others with me, were very satisfied with their orders as well and we definitely look forward to coming back to visit again. This place is worth checking out!

I cannot say enough good things about this sushi spot. Their sashimi is the best in town off the strip in my opinion along with yellow tail collar and uni. I was so impressed. I am gluten free for health reasons and they were so accommodating. From the soy sauce to even making me fried spicy honey chicken with gluten free batter. I could have cried. I don't usually get to have anything like that when I go out. I will definitely be back and am super excited they are opening another location at Durango Hotel.

Awesome addition to Vegas dining scene in heart of Arts District. Staff (including owner) were engaging and efficient. Despite the fact we came in just 15 minutes prior to closing. Room was clean and well dressed. We only ended up having sake, but were approached by the chef with amazing food for us to try. There are solid intentions here, we hope they stay the course. We look forward to return visit when in need of full experience.

Good sushi, friendly staff with great service. Great presentation especially with sashimi although the portion seems a bit small but delicious. The fresh wasabi (you need to ask for this) was very good. There were about 12 of us for a friend’s birthday celebration, and we all had a great time!

Excellent food Flavorful and very fresh The sashimi was literally melting in my mouth Got tonkatsu ramen and it was the best batch of it I've ever consumed.. and I've had it at many places The rolls were beautifully created and prepared Service was exceptional Overall a grand experience The only quarrel I had was my gyozas came out slightly cold Not to the point of being inedible by any means but still enough to notice

An amazing experience at YU-OR-MI sushi tonight from start to finish. I felt very welcomed upon arrival, and that feeling lasted the rest of the night. We got a table right by the window with a great view of Esther's. The food was emaculate. We had miso soup, gyoza, salmon sashimi, and a special roll. That was the best miso soup I've ever had! This place is an instant classic 👌

Great restaurant!!!! The food was honestly amazing and the service was quick and good. The chefs were so nice as well! There are many good - and actually unique and not just boring and plain vegetarian option, and everything was so delicious. I got the vegan Inari roll - so so good honestly the best I’ve had in a longgg time. The price is so good for what you’re getting. Really looking forward to come back again

Fantastic little sushi place tucked into the arts district. This was a great find for us. Our server was attentive and answered all our questions. She also gave suggestions on popular dishes and her favorites. We tried them all. We went early and the place was filling up as we left. Will definitely be back.

This little gem is a bit off the beaten path but well worth visiting. The sashimi is unusually fresh and delicate. The menu has just enough fusion to stand out from other eateries without compromising its integrity. (That sounded wordy / sorry) The tuna tataki is crusted with wasabi (that's unique) and delicious. The yellowtail with serrano pepper was superb. This is a great place for relaxing after work with friends or for impressing that someone special in your life. A culinary triumph! Thanks! See you soon.

If you are visiting or even live in the area and haven't made it down here yet, you should! The service tonight was fantastic and the Happy Hour deals here were GREAT! I'm from Reno, where we do "all you can eat" sushi, and I must say the happy hour dishes I had plus the two orders of nigiri really hit the spot! Speaking of the nigiri, it was some of the best nigiri I have ever had; the quality was phenomenal! I highly recommend YU-OR-MI for your next sushi restaurant experience!

This is my favorite sushi spot in town. I saw them building out in 2020 and asked if they would have gluten free options, they said yes and I’ve been a customer since. Women owned and offering almost every menu option gluten free! I love the roulette roll but be careful it’s very spicy, or at least one bite. Thank you for always taking care of us as guests and the amazing service.

Amazing. Fresh Toro selection. Same options from a high end sushi place. Local downtown feel. Will go back. Can’t believe how many hidden gems are tucked away on Main Street!!

Came here after the movies one early evening after reservations did not work out at another spot. Take in to mind I am not a sushi fanatic but my sweet significate is. But we focused in on eating sushi this evening. I am glad first spot did not workout cause this one did not disappoint. Great happy hour rolls, fantastic service and the atmosphere was subtle and not overly done. Its small and quaint and runs like clock work I would highly suggest this spot for a fun casual evening in the arts district.

Amazing place for sushi and drinks. Johnny the owner is such a great guy, service is beyond compare. The sushi is wonderful, creative and in my opinion, best in Las Vegas. They have an outdoor patio now for the perfect night in Las Vegas.

We had a reservation for 7:30 on Monday night and arrived 10 min early but were seated immediately by the host. Our waitress, Joh, went through the menu page by page and explained each section to us. We ordered the salmon appetizer (pictured), vegetarian tempura, so cal roll, and my partner got the 8 piece chefs choice. Everything came out beautifully presented and the fish was very fresh. This meal is definitely a highlight to our trip to Vegas. I recommend this place to anyone wanting fresh sushi at a reasonable price, and if wanted to get away from the chaos of the strip. I cannot thank Joh and Chef Masa enough.

Been meaning to review this place for the last couple of weeks. My father and I had a long day, and we’re looking for somewhere to eat while we were in town. I was determined to just find somewhere and not look anywhere up online. We found this place after we parked our car. And it was about 45min before close. Everyone was super friendly the restaurant was pretty full, but they were able to seat us. We decided to try a lot of stuff on the menu, and the food came out quickly but in stages because of the limited space on the smaller table. The presentation was amazing, quality was top notch, and I don’t remember ever looking at my drink and it not being topped off. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying themselves just as much as we were. And I overheard a phone reservation come in very close to closing and they chose to accommodate them instead of turning them away. Definitely got the vibe that the customers come first. And the menu items were all well priced. Definitely will come back whenever I’m in town.

Service is good ( maybe a little too much: 2 waitresses coming every 5 minutes in rotation to ask if we needed anything). Fishes were fresh but appetizers were too sour and not balanced ( ceviche and tako truffle) . We were disappointed also that the chef sashimi plate and the chef nigiri plate had exactly the same fishes ( missing a little creativity there).

A must! We made a reservation but our ride was delayed. They still accommodated us. Busy, but they knew so they were super polite the while time. Great people. Polite. Service was all around attentive! So, so, so FRESH as well! Definitely our new spit when we come to town!

First time at this Sushi Bar and I cannot tell you enough how amazing the experience was! Chef V made some amazing recommendations and service was superb! The Chef put his soul into these dishes. Pair sushi with their sake and it'll take you to another level!

Delicious and beautiful sushi creations! I recommend the Roulette Roll. One piece is extra spicy, but you don't know which one!

Wanted sushi for my birthday while I was in town and I as happy to find this delicious spot! I am vegan, my sister is not. We share two vegan appetizers: Brussels sprouts and veggie tempura. They were phenomenal! Then I had two specialty vegan rolls and my sister had two regular specialty rolls. She said it was the best sushi she’s ever had! Mine were amazing as well (personal preference I didn’t enjoy the tomato one but I don’t really like tomatoes so I’m not sure why I even ordered it lol). The staff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. Was bummed that I was too full to try their vegan ice cream! The place was very clean too.

  • 5/5 lucy c. 2 years ago on Google
Absolutely loved this place! Every thing we got was delicious, especially the veggie tempura. We ordered 2 of them because we couldn't help ourselves! Seriously, I'd come back to vegas just for this place! (Also, excellent service. Our waitress was lovely!)
