The Ahern Hotel in Las Vegas was a great choice for my recent trip. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, and I was especially impressed by the cute bathroom. The hotel's location was perfect - it was basically on the strip, so it was easy to walk to all of the attractions and casinos, but it was also nice to have free parking and no resort fee. That made a big difference in terms of affordability and convenience. In addition to the great rooms and location, the staff at the Ahern Hotel were also top-notch. Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful, and they made sure that my stay was as comfortable as possible. From check-in to check-out, they were always there to assist with any questions or needs that I had. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at the Ahern Hotel and would definitely recommend it to others. It's the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and affordability, and I would definitely stay there again in the future.

Location is the star of this hotel. It's just at the beginning of the strip and near I-15. I spent most of my time away from the strip so it was great to be able to take the nearby I-15 and access to Sahara Ave to get to off strip restaurants and activities. Parking is included and there is no resort fee which is awesome and rare. The hotel is dated, could use a makeover, but if you're only there to sleep it's pleasant enough. The coffee place in the attached nearby building has great croissants and pastries, and a real convenience in the mornings. Room service is a let down as it's only service upon request, but even after several requests my room was not cleaned.

Great place to stay at an affordable price! Staff was friendly and accommodating, the interior was clean and well maintained. Room was spacious, clean, and had a great rose tinted view of the city. Thereโ€™s also a restaurant & bar in the lobby as well as a nice little pool. Located walking distance to a fancy steakhouse, walking distance to an ATM, and is a short drive away from the many attractions of Vegas.

This hotel is truly a hidden gem, although the location is not the best you are close to Sahara which has the monorail to travel down the strip. The staff here are absolutely incredible top notch customer service. Wonderful clean hotel, love that it's smoke free! Please don't let the location detour you it truly is a wonderful hotel. Me and my husband will definitely be back. Nice small relaxing pool, free water, mini fridge in your room, wonderful big shower. I can go on and on about the wonderful things.

This is a nice hotel at the far end of the Las Vegas Strip. You can walk to the heart of the Strip from here, but it takes an hour or more. The hotel is new and the rooms huge. It is we'll-appointed and very clean. Breakfast was included in our rate, and the breakfast was really good. There is no casino at the hotel, and the whole place seemed to non-smoking, which was wonderful. There is free parking in the adjacent garage. The hotel has some quirks. While there was a refrigerator in the room, there are no microwave ovens or coffee makers. The windows are tinted red (it was originally built to serve the Chinese trade and red is a lucky color) so everything in your room has a red tint. I ended up having to close the drapes and only use artificial light as the red coming through the windows was too much. And since the number 4 is unlucky in the Chinese culture, there is no fourth floor. All in all, the price was right, the rooms large and clean and the location was fine. I would definitely stay here again.

I wanted to really like this hotel but it's more negative than positive for me for a few big reasons. 1) the walls are paper thin. Worse than I've ever experienced anywhere else and I've stayed at over 40 hotels. 2) the shower in my room did not have a door so taking a shower was cold. 3) the pillows are absolutely God awful. The location is fine. The hotel itself is pretty. The staff was very nice.

I was so so pleasantly surprised by my stay here! We loved the hotel and the room. Even though itโ€™s on the far end of the strip itโ€™s right next to the monorail so you can easily walk across the street and have access to the rest of the strip. It was quiet, clean, & the staff was friendly. We had a great view of the mountains from our room. The windows are pink which I thought was kind of fun. The nighttime you wonโ€™t notice but if thereโ€™s light outside the whole room is glowing pink. The bed and pillows were comfy and it was just a very sexy room! The only negative is sometimes by the conference room and the lobby it smelled like strong sewer but they were renovating so maybe that was it? Iโ€™d stay here again! ALSO thankful for no resort fees!!!! Basically the only place that doesnโ€™t charge them.

Absolutely had an amazing stay at this hotel. The inside is even more beautiful than the photos. There is a shallow pool that isnโ€™t overly packed and has cabanas so me and my girls got to enjoy some downtime relaxing and chatting with other guests. We stayed here because it was so close to the festival grounds but I will be coming back every time I am in Vegas. The front desk person Ceejay was absolutely the sweetest and she made us feel like she was welcoming my friends and me into her own home. I highly recommend going to one of the dining facilities on-site. We went to dinner at Chef Marcโ€™s steakhouse. Chef Marc was out talking to guests and sharing his love and passion for food with everyone. Ask him for a recommendation, he describes everything with such detail that your mouth will salivate before you even order. The food was amazing! All 7 people in my party loved their meals and we all had something different. Also, shout out to Sandro, the food and bar manager. He always checked in with my party, whether we were at the bar, restaurant or pool. My experience at the Ahern felt very personalized, something I could not have received at any other hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and cannot wait to return.

Very friendly staff and a nice hotel just down the strip. The room was clean and the No resort fees and free parking are pluses. However, the location is a bit sketchy. We wanted to walk around the area to find lunch, but we didnโ€™t feel safe and had to take the car to get anywhere. Additionally, there was a homeless person sleeping in the โ€œfitness centerโ€ while we were there. I personally felt safer on the southern part of the strip (main part with the big names casinos) than where this is located, and would recommend people spend a little more money for a better area.

Recently went into the Ahern Hotel for coffee. The hotel is very clean and nice. Nice selection of restaurants. Check out Joel's Chop House for some fun weekly specials. Non gaming so it had a really nice atmosphere. Definitely will recommend my friends and family to stay here.

Under new management, the Ahern hotel is a very good ๐Ÿ‘ place to stay and close to everything! It's not a casino hotel and is very quiet ๐Ÿคซ. It has its own in house restaurant and served breakfast, lunch and dinner and the cuisine is high quality! The is a very nice gym that I made use of while there and check in was very fast! Will definitely be staying there again!

5 Star accomodations! Don't delay, book this spot. It's perfect if you like a quiet feel with zero casino to walk through to get to your room. The have an excellent 5 Star restaurant inside. Great location. Clean comfortable rooms. No views. No thrill ride. No casino.

My stay was Amazing!! I love the fact the hotel and no casinoโ€ฆ.very quiet! This was my first solo trip and I felt very safe knowing there was 24hour armed security on site. Also the restaurant has great service and the food is delicious and fresh. Shout out to Conner you are the best! They even have a dancing robot that serves the food! The best part was my room view of the mountains! A trip to remember!!

Stayed for four nights and it was a great place. The front desk staff were very accommodating and fabulous to deal with. We had breakfast at the restaurant every morning and the staff and food were amazing. The pool is small but worked fine for us. The room was great, it actually had a fridge for our use which was handy for filling with water, beer and snacks. There are no resort fees and parking was free. If you're looking for somewhere near the action it may not be for you but it was perfect for us. We'll definitely be back here again. Thanks

Lovely property. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Friendly staff. Comfortable, clean rooms. (Area around the property isnโ€™t the greatest, but felt very secure.) Very good restaurant. I love that itโ€™s non-smoking and isnโ€™t a casino. Will definitely consider staying here again!

I stayed here early in March this month. It's a great hotel. Clean, quiet and has no resort fees or parking fees. The staff was really nice. This includes the two hotel employees I talked to and the restaurant employees. The food was also very good at the Italian restaurant. I will stay here again.

Stayed 3 days 2 nights in September 2022 and it was absolutely amazing. Parking garage felt secure with roving security. Immediately greeted by staff as we entered. Checked in under 5 minutes with no problems or long line. Interior was clean, no smoke smell like other hotels, room was immaculate and looked new. Quiet and peaceful rest overnight with no loud guests in the hallways. Hotel is within walking distance to the monorail to see all the attractions on the strip. Restaurant on site was delicious and a great deal. Definently will recommend to friends and return again. Thanks Ahern staff for a great trip.

The reason for 4 starts instead of 5 is because I didn't actually stay here but a friend of mine did. What I did experience was awesome , friendly staff, fresh-clean rooms (no stale smoke smell), classy hotel, free parking with no resort fees!!! The inside is very updated and modern. The outside surroundings never phased me like other reviews. I felt safe and I prefer to stay off the strip. I will definitely be giving this place a stay!!! It is a hidden gem and you will be pleasantly surprised. Don't be mislead by others opinions. On did I mention NO BED BUGS!!

Aside from the *extremely* slow wifi and small pool, this hotel is absolutely immaculate regarding cleanliness, hospitality, and comfort. Itโ€™s truly a hidden gem with no extra resort fees (please never add these!). Itโ€™s great for those who want a clean, comfortable hotel away from the cigarette smoke and busy casino nightlife. Itโ€™s still in extremely close proximity to the strip and downtown ($5-$10 Uber once or twice a day) and it was perfect for us. We trusted leaving our bags with the front desk after checkout which speaks volumes in Vegas. The cafe and restaurant are so yummy as well. Definitely staying here again for our next visit! Side note: highly recommend making reservations at the Golden Steer Steakhouse right next door (2+ months in advance). The BEST restaurant we have ever been to and so convenient being able to walk 10 steps outside to get there!

This makes the second time staying at the Ahern. This is an amazing hotel for the price. Very close to the strip and within walking distance of the Strat. A lot of rooms have really nice views as well. Rooms are always very clean and everything is pretty much brand new as it is currently under renovation so the rooms that are available have already been completed. There's no casino but I actually prefer that because it makes the whole hotel a lot quieter. There is also free parking which is very convenient.

Amazing stay, I was so impressed with the friendliness of everyone at ahern. we were greeted so nicely by a female security officer, and by the front desk staff. We arrived at 3:00 in the morning on the Friday before Memorial day weekend, very exhausted and we're greeted with a smile by the security officer and both ladies at the front desk. Even though they were having technical difficulties at the time, they still provided stellar service(in the middle of the night!) I can't say enough what an impression that made on us. The restaurant was amazing, the wait staff and the restaurants were outstanding and the food was wonderful. This is the first time that I've stayed at a hotel and didn't encounter anyone that was rude. The maintenance staff, the waiters, the maids, security, front desk were all extremely polite and helpful! I highly recommend staying here!!

Awesome hotel in the heart of Las Vegas! I generally worry about parking in big cities but this hotel has a nice parking garage for their guests. The staff was great, everything was clean, and I highly enjoyed my sleep. I generally don't sleep very well in hotels but had a great stay here. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. I didn't ever hear any other guests. I was able to just stay in my room and enjoy my time. I would highly recommend the Ahern Hotel for corporate events, wedding parties, etc.

What a great place!!! It's a boutique hotel. Very clean. Very quiet. Lovely pool and patio. No stinky casino to walk through. Yet, super close to larger hotels that provide gambling, if that's your gig. The staff was amazing!! Teresa, at the front desk, was so sweet and helpful. 10/10 I will DEFINITELY stay here again!!

I'm so glad I discovered this place after my unplanned stay in Vegas. This Hotel and Event Center is not going to stay secret for long. Everyone from Effie the Concierge, Karen, their Brand Ambassador, Lorenzo, and DJ Bella at Ahern Live to the staff at Ottimo and Charles tending bar were awesome! The food at Ottimo is unbelievable 4 star quality at extremely reasonable prices. I ate there at least half a dozen times. So friendly, quiet, and clean. Literally steps away from gaming and regular strip stuff without the chaos. I don't know how long the prices will stay this low, but with no resort fees, this hotel is a gem. With all the renovations finishing up, I can't wait for the chop house to open and see this place truly bloom! Thank you, Ahern!

Great place literally on the strip but not really however you can jump on the strip fairly quickly from here. Clean rooms great shower and I love the tinted windows in the rooms! Has a good restaurant and the drinks are mad good without the typical Vegas prices. Definitely a great spot if you don't want to be deep in the strip and want some quiet!

I love this hotel. They need to open another location in an area where it's safer and prettier. The surrounding area is not that great, but the hotel is amazing. The lobby is pretty, eating area, cafe, and parking garage. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I have stayed here a few times, and my wife and I love it. Also, the staff is very friendly and professional.

Wow this place left me speechless! Clean and beautiful. At the entrance, a great welcome in between a Lamborghini and a Ferrari! The rooms are beautiful and modern. They have their own coffee place on the 2nd floor with luxurious bites. The shopping area is gorgeous and the employees are sharp and attentive. We're coming back! The cost here was the same that many hotel casinos. But here, sine is a convention center next to, it's amazing! Zero smell , luxurious and affordable. Perhaps a little more but the difference really worth it.

Honestly the reviews for this hotel are really misleading, unless you are doing anything nearby your stay here will be incredibly unpleasant because the location is near little to no amenities. Service was fine at first, but when calling housekeeping for a change of towels and sheets we received only a few new towels, no new sheets, and we later found items missing from our room (Nothing significant was missing, just random things). For the price it was fine, but I will not be returning.

What a gem! Stayed here in late September 2022 and appreciated the chill vibes and very courteous staff. Super quiet, clean rooms, excellent for anyone coming to Vegas but wishing not to stay in a spot with a casino in the lobby. Nice coffee shop and open convention space to do a morning jaunt through. Loved the pink-tinted windows. Parking was easy. Big, open shower space. Next to an iconic steak house plucked right out of the 1970โ€™s. Stay here! I would again.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Taylor W. has been an absolute pleasure. Ahern is hosting our wedding reception at the end of March, and I absolutely cannot wait. Taylor has made this process so wonderful, and I am beyond excited to celebrate our marriage with this property as our reception location. Between dietary restrictions, a few changes to our plans, etc. Taylor has been absolutely wonderful with helping us, and providing superb communication regarding our event. I cannot express my gratitude enough for how professional and responsive she has been for this entire process. She has answered all of my questions, and provided the upmost excellent service. One hundred percent recommend this hotel and the staff they have.

Decent hotel, pool looks clean and pretty amazing though I didnโ€™t have time to try. Great for a conference stay and location is walking distance from strip. Festival grounds are close by so if a concert is in town ask for a room on the NE side of the property for less outside noise. The adjoining conference center has a Trattoria with an awesome breakfast feel and a freshly made Pizza spot.

This is a perfect hotel if you want something quiet and modern, this is a non-smoking hotel, you donโ€™t pay resort fee, parking is free, itโ€™s perfect located, this is off of the strip but just 5 minutes to get there. and 8 minutes to Downton. They have a great restaurant. I loved my 5 days stayed here, no complaints. Perfect for families that do not want to stay in crazy resorts with drunk people. 100% recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very clean and comfortable, and everyone working there was super kind, friendly, and helpful. Upon checking in we got a text from Effie, our concierge, who was more than helpful in providing advice and recommendations. That was much appreciated. The windows are all tinted pink which I really adored. I have absolutely no complaints but I would say the only thing that would have improved our stay would be a microwave and coffee maker in the room. I still would 10/10 recommend staying here.

I had a positive stay at the hotel โ€“ it's peaceful, well-maintained, and conveniently located near the strip. The lobby offers complimentary water, and the on-site coffee shop, with reasonable prices, became a daily favorite. The restaurant and happy hour added to our satisfaction, and the staff were friendly. Overall, it was a pleasing experience.

Terrible location. Not close to anything and feels unsafe. They have a problem with cats being broken into in their parking garage due to inattentive and ineffectual security. Dirty rooms that lack amenities. Terrible service provided by rude employees. The whole place smells awful. Sticky surfaces and stains abound. I sincerely think it must be the worst hotel in Vegas.

Great hotel overall. Lost a star because luxury is a pretty big stretch (if you are expecting the Aria or the Cosmo, you will likely be disappointed), but it is nice, quiet and clean. Free parking, no resort free, free Wi-Fi are all as advertised. Location is great for north strip activities and/or the fairgrounds.

The rooms have pink tint on the windows. I do not recommend if you are a fan of natural light. I was so mad when I realised this. Photos of rooms are deceiving in this aspect. Otherwise a nice clean place to stay. Its also very quiet and not busy

Lovely change of pace after staying at a hotel on the strip for a few nights. Nice, quiet, non smoking hotel. The service was great with complimentary water in the lobby and rooms. The windows all have a pink tint on them which makes the view of the mountain ranges look even cooler. Would love to stay here again.

We loved our stay at Ahern. We stayed from Friday to Monday for a festival. Our experience at Ahern was significantly better than the Bellagio. The room was nicer and cleaner. The cafe and restaurant in the attached convention center were fantastic and reasonably priced for the area. You can get an app and buy cheap passes for the Deuce Bus and visit anywhere on the strip. The hotel, restaurant, and Cafe were all pretty low key and never super crowded.

  • 5/5 Scott B. 9 months ago on Google
The rooms and and the hotel are extremely clean, modern and spacious. We loved the fact that the room and the bathroom and the shower room are all very large, and open with cool and calming design. The parking garage is free and has a great inclosed sky bridge to go from it to the hotel. We also loved the fact that breakfast for 2 was included in our stay. It was a FULL breakfast not just a donut and juice but 2 eggs 2 pieces of meat (which my dog loved) toast and potatoes with a beverage. The front desk staff as well as housekeeping and security were all were hospitable, knowledgeable and very friendly.. we would definitely recommend this NON GAMING strip hotel for family, business or just a staycation for anyone. The only recommendation that I could see how they could improve is to offer more vegan, and vegetarian options for food. It was very limited on those .

Room : perfect. New, spacious, clean, room service on spot, always fulfilled all your requests. We stayed there 6 nights. Service : the front desk and staff are AMAZINGLY nice and resourceful. They told us about Uber and Monorail. Location : close to Walgreen and Monorail that brings you to the strip. Atmosphere : good AC, free parking, free water, ustensiles, plates and microwave. Outdoor pool, gym, free parking, no resort fees, no smoking, the air is fresh, ice machine on each floor, no casino, quiet, peaceful, comfy bed and good amenities. Will come back for sure !

This hotel offers what other big name resorts might be lacking. Our room was spacious with a modern feel bathroom. We've stayed at resorts where rooms are tiny and you have to walk around the bed. There is no casino here, but there are nearby options to play if that's what you're looking for. I plan to return with the rest of my family and reserve a room here. Don't forget to visit Ottimo!

Excellently remodeled! We held an official National Football League Alumni Association event there and Ahern team was strategic in making it successful! If you are a coffee aficionado then this is hands down the best coffee on the strip!

Lovely stay at the Ahern! Everything was clean, staff was very friendly. Held bags on day of arrival and departure. Also, the coffee shop inside was great with reasonable prices. Quiet little place away from the glitz and glam of the strip and that's exactly what I wanted. Would highly reccomend!

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet- no noise coming from the adjoining rooms. There wasn't smoke smells or stains in the some and it was cleanly decorated with just some basic accent pictures. Everything worked well enough. For where it was located it was much better than expected and I would stay there again. One strange thing is they show a decent sized pool on their website but it's 2 inches (yes, inches) at one end and 2 feet at the other. It would fit 8 people wading in it at once and only has benches for people to sit in the "deep" end for half that many. Since it had to be walled off from the area it is located in, the art wall/hotel cast a shadow most of day so there isn't much hope for sunbathing. Overall, I'd recommend this as place to stay while vacationing in Las Vegas since you don't want to spend most of your time in the hotel anyway.

Really pleasant hotel with nice rooms and friendly staff. Effie at the front desk was cheerful and really helpful and informative about what we can do in Vegas (very helpful for first timers) Was even given comped breakfast for our stay which was awesome ๐Ÿ˜€ Only downsides is that the location is a little bit awkward and the duvet I had was a bit stained with makeup (I didnโ€™t use it though so itโ€™s no big deal) and the slight noise from the renovators in the morning (but again, just unfortunate timing on our behalf) Other than that, this place is definitely worth considering when staying here๐Ÿ‘

I have spent a great deal of time in Vegas and stayed in most of the hotels on the strip. But when I need to come back purely for business, I will stay here again. It's small, well appointed, nicely decorated and the staff is friendly and helpful. And the food is good. But most important of all, it does not take forever to get from your room to transportation - if you have a rental car, it's easy to get to and the convention center is close.

Superb hotel ๐Ÿจ and event center! Not disappointed in any way. Front desk was super. The main in house restaurant is superb! The food is the same or cheaper than anything in the strip. Large portions and tasty as well. The breakfasts is what we had and was great!! The waitress we had was the same each day and seemed overwhelmed but was very nice and worked hard to serve you. Our conference was held here and the food from the kitchen was top notch! Delicious! Only problem they ran out of some items too quickly. The room and as great. AC was ice cold. The fridge also was ice cold if not in defrost mode. The bed was super comfortable. And the housekeeping did a great job. Only complaint was out ice machine in 6th floor was off mode every other day. Not sure why. No coffee pot in the room. That would have been nice.

Service was great, check in was a breeze, the woman was very polite and told me everything about the place. Very quiet, windows are tinted to keep the rooms dark without light. Easily accessible thermostat to adjust room temp. Everything was very clean. They are undergoing construction but kept us away from that. My only problem was the shower didn't drain very fast, but I'm assuming the construction might be putting a strain on plumbing too? I'd recommend staying here for sure.

Something that should be well advised is that this is a hotel for business traffic only. The hotel staff is fantastic, I received nothing but the best service; however, the amenities pale to a motel 6. There is no mini fridge that I could find, which from my many years of travel I've seen in the worst of hotels. The specific location of the strip makes access awkward. If you are just looking for somewhere to stay, I have no complaints. Also they threw away my hundred dollar toothbrush. They stated "biological contamination" as reason to throw away a toothbrush in a case. Owners will probably respond negatively to this post but that's just disregard for guest property. I'd give 3 stars if the door on the ground level next to the elevator that opened pool actually opened.

I stayed in the Ahern hotel just off the Las Vegas strip. The rooms are clean, the AC worked well and the staff were friendly and attentive. The Italian restaurant was good and has a good breakfast special from 7am to 9am ($2.99 bacon, eggs and toast). The hotel is walking distance from the Las Vegas Convention Center (about 10 min walk). Just be careful if it gets hot outside, otherwise take a cab or Uber. The hotel does have any gambling, so keep that in mind. Further there is a small swimming pool with an area that is perfect for little ones (still need to keep an eye on the little guys). One other thing, just west of the Ahern are some older apartments (they look a bit sketchy) but don't let that stop you. There is a tall (10-12 foot) solid brick fence that separates the hotel from the apartments. All told the Ahern is an affordable alternative to the Vegas strip(pricey) and hotels in Downtown Vegas (a bit out of the way). If you want a decent room close to the strip (I'm taking to those on a budget, young adults, etc), give the Ahern a go.

Rooms amazing. Comfortable and clean Professional and attentive staff Location at first I thought wasnt so great, since it's off the strip, but on my second night i preferred not being in the center of the strip madness. It is a little get away from the strip which is very nice. There aren't any gambling machines inside, or at least I didn't see any. The location is also nice because you are in between old and new Vegas. I recommend seeing both!
