I
lived
at
this
community
for
2
years.
The
first
year,
they
were
charging
me
850
for
a
1/1,
not
bad.
Initially,
they
made
the
community
seem
more
than
it
really
was.
The
gate
was
consistently
if
not
always
broken.
Random
people
from
the
outside
could
come
in
and
out
as
they
pleased.
The
so-called
"security",
is
just
a
guy
in
a
golf
cart
sleeping
all
the
time
next
to
the
pool.
Don't
bother
ordering
anything
and
having
it
shipped
to
your
home,
I
got
3
packages
stolen
from
my
door
step.
Drug
addicts
roam
around
freely
throughout
the
community,
I
had
two
addicts
come
to
my
back
yard
and
tried
to
get
high
in
front
of
me.
The
water
front
view
is
anything
but
a
joke.
The
tiny
lake
was
always
filled
with
trash
and
nothing
was
done
about
it.
Frogs
constantly
mate
in
the
lakes
and
are
so
abundant
that
you'll
have
a
hell
of
a
time
getting
any
sleep.
The
surrounding
areas
are
so
crime
ridden
that
the
nightly
police
sirens
become
a
norm
and
you'll
know
something
is
wrong
if
you
don't
hear
them.
The
second
year
I
was
there
they
wanted
to
raise
the
rent
to
990
for
no
reason,
I
negotiated
to
940
with
an
"upgraded"
stove
which
turned
out
to
be
a
slightly
cleaner
stove
that
used
up
more
electricity.
On
the
topic
of
electricity,
the
outside
AC
unit
was
about
5
years
old
but
the
inside
AC
handler
was
the
original
one
from
when
the
building
was
made
back
in
the
60s.
Because
of
that,
my
FPL
bill
was
on
average
on
the
140s.
I
had
an
FPL
technician
come
out
and
essentially
tell
me
unless
both
units
are
updated
the
power
bill
will
only
go
up,
good
luck
trying
to
get
the
management
do
that.
When
my
second
lease
was
coming
up
for
renewal,
they
wanted
to
raise
the
rent
to
an
unbelievable
$1200
for
a
1/1.
I
gave
my
60
day
notice
and
moved
out,
I
didnt
even
want
my
security
deposit
back.
About
a
year
and
half
after
I
moved
out,
they
have
the
audacity
to
try
to
sue
me
for
unpaid
rent.
Lucky,
I'm
a
stickler
for
receipts
and
documentation,
and
was
able
to
easily
prove
that
I
did.
Word
of
advice,
when
you
move
out
a
landlord
has
90
days
to
make
a
claim
on
unpaid
dues
via
CERTIFIED
mail
with
a
signature
receipt.
I
know
this
review
was
long
but
I
wanted
to
share
my
experience
with
The
Glen
at
Lauderhill.
Renter
beware
of
this
place
and
make
sure
you
read
the
law
with
this
place.
They
will
try
to
intimidate
you
with
lawsuits
when
they
know
they
are
wrong
