Update:
After
a
year
living
in
Germany
and
staying
in
5
different
kinderhotels,
this
one
is
#4
of
5.
Kids
club:
Three
separate
areas
(creche,
minis,
and
pre/teens).
The
minis
area
was
the
very
large
with
many
different
type
of
play
areas.
Room:
Really
nice,
cladded
in
wood
on
all
walls,
really
enhanced
the
alpine
charm.
The
kids'
rooms
were
great.
Food:
Good
food
overall.
They
have
kids
club
lunch
and
dinners
(not
all
kinderhotels
do).
Drinks:
Great
mixologist.
The
constant
availability
and
centrality
of
the
free
non-alcoholic
drinks
was
great.
Spa:
A
large
number
of
sauna
and
steam
room,
both
a
family
and
adult,
but
they
have
generally
the
same
types.
The
steam
room
was
nice
with
the
loungers.
The
treatments
across
all
kinderhotels
were
pretty
much
the
same.
Nothing
amazing,
but
it's
still
nice
to
have.
Special
Amenities:
They
had
a
great
Christmas
program,
including
gifts
(for
kids
and
adults).
Multiple
outdoor
attractions
(animals,
tobbagan
run,
ropes
course).
I
think
they
have
a
bunny
hill,
but
no
snow
when
we
stayed,
so
I
am
not
sure.
Kids
go
carts.
Playgrounds:
Multiple
outside
&
inside
(including
a
softplay).
I'd
include
the
lobby
as
a
defined
playground,
especially
with
the
play
horses
that
kids
ride
around.
Pool:
Kids
pool
was
somewhat
separate
from
main
pool.
One
water
slide.
Main
pool
was
the
smallest
of
the
other
kinderhotels.
Location:
Middle
of
the
Bavarian
Alps,
a
bus
has
to
take
you
to
the
ski
areas.
Parking:
They
will
park
your
car
and
take
your
bags
from
your
car
to
your
room
and
when
leaving
from
your
room
to
your
car
(I
wish
every
hotel
had
this).
