We had an amazing week at Familux Oberjoch. We have two children, aged 5yo and 7yo. We wanted to be able to relax and for the kids to have fun easily, but we didn't want to put the kids into kids' club all day. Familux Oberjoch was perfect for us. When we were in the hotel, the kids had so much to do. They loved the pools and water slide. The outside areas, with bouncy castles, water play and obstacle course, are all brilliant. Even the lobby is amazing, with the ride-on animals etc. We could have a relaxed meal and let the kids have fun. We like to get out and explore and there is plenty is the nearby area. The Bad Hindelang + card (free with accommodation) gets access to all the chair lifts and lots of other amenities. We loved the local area, getting into the mountains to walk, toboggan, river raft, even the gentle play grounds in Bad Hindelang itself. It's a wonderful alpine area. The hotel is just lovely. The staff are incredible - I don't think I've ever met such a welcoming, friendly, helpful team. The food is amazing. It isn't cheap but it's great value for money. It was just the right balance for us - a touch of luxury, plenty of fun for the kids and loads to do on the doorstep.

We recently had a fantastic family vacation at a beautiful hotel nestled amidst the Alps. From the moment we arrived, we were happy with the warmth and friendliness of the staff, making our stay truly unforgettable. Upon entering the hotel, the atmosphere was immediately welcoming, with a staff that greeted us with genuine smiles. Our spacious and comfortable suite overlooked the mountains and the view alone would have been worth the trip! The food is a true highlight that catered to both adults and children. The meals were great and also complimented with a great wine list, which always makes things better. The hotel also excelled in providing activities for all age groups. Our kids were engaged from morning till night with a dedicated Kids Club that offered everything from arts and crafts to outdoor adventures. Meanwhile, my spouse and I relished the variety of adult-oriented activities. From guided hikes to the SPA treatments. The hotel's attention to detail truly shone through in every aspect of our stay. The swimming pool area, with its glass walls and indoor / outdoor feature, allowed us to swim while being enveloped by the majestic mountain views. In conclusion, our family vacation at this 5-star retreat was one we will remember and hopefully repeat soon. We left with hearts full of gratitude and memories.

The food was just awesome, served in buffet form so conviente with kids, yet super delicious! Food was definitely a highlight for us (the offer vegan and vegetarian option for each meal, but definitely meat options are what makes food there so special). Kids food was also very nice. Hotel makes a stay with kids so easy and has some many things you can do there ( I think this is the great place for people with small kids, up to 10 years or so)! In is located in beautiful place, so even short walks are enjoyable. The staff is very helpful and nice. The only thing I can complain is that it was very hot in the whole hotel. But we will definitely come back

Amazing everything. We went with our 16 month old and our dog and had the best time. The activities for the kids are great and the hotel had everything we needed. We enjoyed a nice hike around the hotel, the spa facilities and our son even took swimming classes. Top service and we intend to come every year :)

Absolutely fantastic resort for a family holiday in the summer and winter. Beautiful mountains, delicious food, and activities in the resort and nearby towns for adults and children. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Excellent location for families with kids. The little ones can be kept busy all day long. Indoor and outdoor activities. Snow in winter and plenty of wander possibilities all year round. A very pleasant experience. Definitely recommendet!

Such a magical place for families with little ones! This was our second visit and we were still utterly charmed. Everything is designed with kids in mind, with play areas at every turn. Meanwhile, the parents can actually take a break and enjoy some yummy food, wine, and rest, along with some sweet family memories. The staff were also incredibly warm and welcoming and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We found it to be the perfect family hotel. Infrastructure is not the newest but perfectly ok. It offers so much variety for kids and adults that you have to plan your day. Food is exceptional good. Maybe one could request more vegan options. The staff is very friendly. The view is breathtaking. Internet is fast. The price for swiss people is perfectly ok. We will go back. Thanks.

Update: After a year living in Germany and staying in 5 different kinderhotels, this one is #4 of 5. Kids club: Three separate areas (creche, minis, and pre/teens). The minis area was the very large with many different type of play areas. Room: Really nice, cladded in wood on all walls, really enhanced the alpine charm. The kids' rooms were great. Food: Good food overall. They have kids club lunch and dinners (not all kinderhotels do). Drinks: Great mixologist. The constant availability and centrality of the free non-alcoholic drinks was great. Spa: A large number of sauna and steam room, both a family and adult, but they have generally the same types. The steam room was nice with the loungers. The treatments across all kinderhotels were pretty much the same. Nothing amazing, but it's still nice to have. Special Amenities: They had a great Christmas program, including gifts (for kids and adults). Multiple outdoor attractions (animals, tobbagan run, ropes course). I think they have a bunny hill, but no snow when we stayed, so I am not sure. Kids go carts. Playgrounds: Multiple outside & inside (including a softplay). I'd include the lobby as a defined playground, especially with the play horses that kids ride around. Pool: Kids pool was somewhat separate from main pool. One water slide. Main pool was the smallest of the other kinderhotels. Location: Middle of the Bavarian Alps, a bus has to take you to the ski areas. Parking: They will park your car and take your bags from your car to your room and when leaving from your room to your car (I wish every hotel had this).
