The welcoming hospitality was great. It is such a wonderful first time experience. We got Lamb Tikka with rice and tabbouleh/ Lamb beef shwarma with hummus and rice. Accompanied with garlic and hot sauces. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our order took about 15 minutes, worth the wait! I’m excited to go back for the falafel sandwich. The deserts were tasty and not too sweet.

Nineveh Bakery is clean, the food is yummy and the place very inviting. This is a Father & Son family business that prides itself on food well prepared and served with attention. They offer well known Middle Eastern specialties and are very welcoming.

I had a beef and lamb Shawarma as well as a chicken Shawarma this time. I also tried their falafel. Man that was good. But the food here is always delicious. I come to Richmond for work often. This is the first place I eat dinner. The owners are very friendly and welcoming as well. If you are in Richmond looking for middle eastern food. Swing by here you will not be disappointed. Treat yourself to some baklava for desert as well. It's homemade and scrumptious.

The food was as good as the reviews have stated. This is a special family owned bakery. I had a nice conversation with the owner while waiting for the kabob to cook. I love a place where the food is outstanding and where you are treated as a friend.

This Falafel subs is unbelievably tasty and rich. The guys are very friendly and professional. If you haven't tried it, plan to go there immediately.

I just tried this place for the first time and it was delicious I already can’t wait to go back. I got the chicken shawarma platter and it came with delicious hummus and tabbouleh. The sauces were great and the chicken was flavorful and the bread was incredible. I wish I’d gotten more bread. Very pleased with it all!

Good food, friendly and warm staff, fresh bread, and uncomplicated. Authentic Iraqi and Middle Eastern food made by people that know it best. My only complaints are 1) wish they would have some Sunday hours 2) a place to sit and 3) they were open earlier as some of their dishes are amazing for breakfast. None of my complaints detract at all from the experience and are just my opinion. Just wish I lived a bit closer to them so I could go more often. The small little "icing" on the cake was this pineapple drink with the pull tab, something I haven't had in a long time and was pleased to see.

Very nice and respectful people, I visited them twice. They have an excellent falafel sandwiches! The rest of the items are excellent as well, I felt like I was in Iraq!!!
