Today on August 5th, 2023 we had a wonderful day with Marcel at a sidemount workshop. He has a lot of specialist knowledge in the sidemount area and you can really ask him ANYTHING ;) He has very competent and detailed answers to all questions about why he does what and why. We've been diving sidemount for a while now, but we were able to get to know a lot of exciting tips and tricks from him, so that one or two tricks are a little easier to learn. Today my colleague and I were able to learn a lot of new things. There was never too much fun with what was learned.

Big praise to Marcel who introduced us to sidemount diving within 2 days. I've already completed a few diving training courses in Switzerland, but none of these courses come close to Marcel's. The Sidemount course not only teaches the basics but goes a few steps further. After the two days I feel very confident in using the sidemount system, I also know how to set up my system correctly and how to best behave in more difficult situations. With this knowledge, I look forward to many hours underwater as a sidemount diver. This is simply how every course should be.

Had a very nice and instructive course with Marcel. Everything from setting up the sidemount equipment to the underwater exercises was explained very clearly. There were also a lot of tips from practice, you can really tell that years of experience are incorporated into the course.

I was trained in sidemount diving by Marcel and can only recommend him. It was two days packed with valuable tips and tricks, it was a lot of fun and it was really worth driving from northern Germany to Lake Constance. A special bonus for me was that Marcel dives the KISS Sidewinder and so I was able to configure my xDeep equipment so that the CCR can be easily integrated later when I get the part. That was the best diving course I've ever had. Somehow Marcel managed to teach me the intensive theory block in the morning and in an entertaining way. Then we moved on to the practical part of the training. First the devices were put together and Marcel helped me estimate how much lead and what size setting was needed on the jacket. Then we finally went into the lake. After diving, I was very surprised at how well everything worked out. The trim was perfect from the start! I've never experienced anything like this before. Thanks to great trim and complete trust in my diving instructor, I was able to carry out the exercises without stress. There wasn't a second where I felt uncomfortable. I really enjoyed the Sidemount course with Marcel and I can highly recommend the course.

A really great course that we were able to attend with Marcel Schmid. The competence and passion with which Marcel teaches and the patience with which he answers every question is great. In the course, the skills of sidemount diving are learned and conveyed in an understandable way with many practical exercises. The fascination for sidemounting has gripped us... This is my first entry in a Google feedback. But Marcel just did it with such in-depth knowledge and a cool manner. To really give us the basics in sidemount again. It was really fun and a really interesting workshop where we were able to take a lot of things with us.
