I’ve been here a couple of times. The restaurant has quite good reputation and it is true. Whether ur looking for a pasta, pizza or bruschetta the food here is amazing. It is located in one of nicer streets of Lausanne surrounded by other restaurants and bars. Their speciality food is from souther Italy. Inside, it is amazing with an interesting vibe. In good days, you can even stay in an small terrace in front of the building. It had a vintage feeling the whole building. The food, is very impressive. It definitely worth testing specially if ur craving a good pasta or pizza. Be careful though, in busy days, u definitely need a reservation to enter. So try calling first or even going there half an hour in advance. Caio!!

Luigia Lausanne is a must-go as it's inside an old movie theater and it absolutely beautiful. The pizza are very good (my favorite in Lausanne) and the service is express. The team keeps changing, so sometimes you have very friendly waiter(ess) and sometimes not..

A must-visit restaurant for pizzas afficionados. The Luigia in Geneva is great too, but the one is Lausanne took an old cinema venue and turned it into a hip and popular place for all foods Italian. Pizzas are pretty unbeatable both in quality and choices, there are about 5 different choices just for a maguerita - I took the 4 cheeses which was excellent - we all know a good Italian restaurant, Luigia is very high on my list of best ones, it has it all, lively atmosphere, upbeat waiters, a fun and beautifully designed venue (with a football table and a nice bar), absolute top quality food and last but not least, a decadent Nutella pizza for desert.

We enjoyed very lovely service and delicious food. Just when we thought we wouldn't find something to eat anymore for the night, the kind Luigia staff allowed us to enter 10 minutes before closing time and let us order quickly and eat with no rush (including dessert and coffee). Our experience was also very child friendly as we arrived with a tired 6 year old and a tiny baby and were welcomed with smiles. The price was really ok for the quality of authentic food and service.

Very delicious food with a very nice service! The food portion was very good and the prices are affordable! However, the tables are very close to each other, and they’re a bit small. I recommend them for sure!

Very tasty food, the pizza was delicious. The staff was also quite nice and there is a huge selection of wine. Bring some time to study the menu, it’s extensive. The atmosphere is also very nice, it seems to be located in an old cinema or something like that. Definitely a pleasant Ambiente, even if it gets a little loud when a lot of people are there.

I'd like to start my experience saying that I'm Italian and usually when I'm abroad I don't eat at Italian restaurant. Here I have to say that the pizzas that you can try here is better than a lot of pizzerias that you can find in Italy! I have to say that I got impressed since the first time. The quality of the beer is good, it's not coming from Italian micro-brewery but that's ok.

The restaurant seems to be nice and of high level. Prices are corresponding to the upper level restaurant. The environment and set up is also emposes good tasty dinner and the dishes are tasty. But some inconsistencies in service adds shadows to overall good impression. Our orders were messed up, but quickly replaced. If you order pizza, check the thickest part of the crust. You might spot uncooked dough as we did in 3 of our pizzas, see photos. Then you can ask for replacement right away. We did not this time...

We are a regular customer of both Lausanne and Geneve and it is an absolutely amazing place to eat pizza and feel like you are in Italy. The staff is nice and very fast. Book in advance just in case from their app. Margherita&cannoli are recommended. Their cocktails are a bit light for me i must say. Should try the pasta!

Italian cuisine gem of Lausanne! Highly recommended for pizza, pasta, cocktails and deserts. Very friendly and welcoming service, nice people and super delicious food. Can be hard to get a seat during high-time in the evening, but the manager is acting fairly and professionally by maintaining a list by priority.

Amazing food be it pizza, pasta, lasagne or even a desert. Really good ambiance and interiors too. Highly recommended.

Great restaurant. Very good service, great food, nice and spacy inside, recently renovated. Reminds the chic style of 70s and 80s, but in modern execution.

Beautiful restaurant both in aesthetics and the food/drinks served. It was really full on the Saturday we arrived, but funny enough we managed to get seated in less than 10mins. And there were 8 of us! Service is excellent. I love the fact this Italian restaurant has Italian workers and Italian barmen and Italian Chefs. They even throw in couple of Italian words during conversation. Really gives you the feel as though you were in Italy. As always, best cocktail is the Luigia star.

The food is awful, the pasta were not good, it was undercooked. The service was slow, this one is understandable because the place was full of people. The host at the entrance was nice, the drinks were okay. Two stars only for the tiramisu, it was pretty delicious but rest of the things, no! Absolutely no! Do not recommend it.

Nice interior styling and atmosphere. Ordered a starter Tartare Di Manzo, Flavour was good but beef was too tough. Bacatini All’abruzzese was very salty. The pasta was Al dente and a nice good bite. Pork balls tasty however, ligament bits in the meat. Overall, I think the quality of the meat could have been better. Pizzas look great and I wish I ordered the pizza instead.

This is easily the best casual Italian restaurant in Lausanne. It's in a renovated cinema and they kept the theme, so it's a really interesting atmosphere. In fact, they play kids movies on a big screen in a mini theatre to keep kids occupied while parents converse at their table. The pizzas are delicious, the pastas too, the service is great, and it's pretty easy to get a table any time. And they're open on Sundays!

One of the best wood oven pizza places in lausanne, pasta was authentic and delicious. Can't wait to go back. Thanks to the team.

Very friendly and fast staff, the Pizza is made in front of the Customer and it isnt to Pricey after all. We had to wait just 30minutes for our food and the Ambiente is easily a 10/10! We recommend it! :)

Used to be my favorite and now the worst. I ordered Chicken Nuggets and to my surprise it was totally raw!! Considering the food safety this is really bad and I am glad I checked it before offering to kids.Really disappointed!
