Good Italian restaurant. Mid week evening was busy but we had no problem reserving table for 10 work colleagues. Service was effective but impersonal. No time wasted on chitchat or recommendation. Food arrived after some delay. Unfortunately one main dish was completely missed making all of us waiting as we felt sorry for the poor guy. The pasta, pizza, steaks.. all were good. Everyone seem to like their food of choice. With beers + wine + coffee @40 CHF per head it was a fair evening.

We were in Zurich and we were looking for a place to eat after 10pm and a nice waiter in Ristorante Bindella referred us to Santa Lucia! This was great advice as Santa Lucia was open later than the other restaurants in the area and they served excellent food freshly made to order! There was a queue to get a table however, we got lucky as there was only two of us and there were able to get a little table for two downstairs! The Staff: The staff was very friendly and as I mentioned they were able to get us a seat almost immediately. When seated our server was very attentive providing us with a wine recommendation with our respective choice of meal as well as freshly grating parmesan over our meals at our request! The Food: We ordered one serving of the Bruschetta ai pomodori and a pasta dish each, with my partner going for the Bolognese and I went for the Santa Chiara. The bruschetta was divine with fresh herbs and olive oil and beautiful tomatoes on a crunchy piece of bread! The pasta dishes were also amazing! The protion size was perfect as we were both really hungry and the meal hit the spot! The Santa Chiara was lovely creamy and the Bolognese was rich with a lovely tomato ragu! There was a choice of pasta to choose from and I went for tagliatelle and my partner going for rigatoni! What more could you want for a meal late at night! Layout: The restaurant is split into a ground level area and a downstairs area. Both sections were large with lots of tables and seating. We were seated in the downstairs area right next to the pizza oven/station area. It was entertaining to see the pizza area open to all the restaurant and watch the quick and speedy staff churn out delicious food! There is a lovely large spiraling staircase between the two floors with a little kids area beside it! Kids Area: If you have a couple of small kids taging along with you then this place is ideal! They have a great little area for children to play downstairs so they can be occupied while you can have a chance to enjoy a meal with a loved one! Wheelchair Access: Unfortunately I did not pay attention as we were entering the restaurant to see if there was a step or not... However, from reviewing my pictures I believe that there are no steps entering the premises! I did not notice if there was a lift of some kind for wheelchair users to access the lower level of the restaurant so I am not sure if that is possible but I would imagine that there is some form of access? I did not use the toilets so I am also not sure as to whether they have wheelchair friendly toilets. Apologies for not having more information about wheelchair accessibility on this premises. Overall Opinion: Since it was last night in Switzerland I certaily feel Santa Lucia did a great job on making it a special one! I am a little ashamed to say that I had no real expectation for this restaurant when it was so late however, I was pleasantly proved wrong! The food, staff and atmosphere here are all great and it is certainly a restaurant worth visiting!

We tried some pasta and dessert and they were really good. We came without a reservation and unfortunately we had to stay downstairs. I honestly don't recommend this part of the restaurant as it is very noisy due to the kids corner and also the pizza oven and kitchen are there and all your clothes will smell like food due to lack of ventilation. Just check the recording with the background noise (maybe it's not always the same. Maybe we were unlucky and we just had some noisy kids) Next time most probably we will try to enjoy our dinner upstairs where the atmosphere was different or on the terrace.

Great ambience and service. Went there during lunchtime on a weekday. There was a wait for a table. The food came quickly after it was ordered, and prices are alright to the quality of food gotten. Will definitely visit again.

One of the most delicious Italian restaurants in the city. Highly recommend! A bit on the pricy end, but worth it. Should definitely try the Aperol Spritz.

Amazing food, really good and tasty. The vegan pasta with meat and veggies was literally so delicious- incredible. Totally worth it, a lot of choices for vegan and nice location especially if you can eat outside. Good staff and quick in the service

Very nice restaurant with a proper Italian vibe. Real Italian pizza oven, which you can see if you sit in the basement. Usually need reservation, especially for lunch.

we enjoyed a nice evening on the outside of santa lucia. giuseppe hosted us perfectly! in the middle of the dinner, it started raining: no problem for giuseppe, he moved our table to a place under the roof. also the rest of the staff was very friendly and professional. the pizza was perfectly tasty. thanks a lot to the whole team!

Outside seating was cozy with padded chairs and blankets available. Service was nice and attentive. We enjoyed a salad, pizza, and a pasta dish for lunch. The food was delicious and prices were reasonable. Large portions too. Nice selection of wines to choose from all at reasonable prices.

Good solid Italian restaurant. Great pizzas for sure, pastas are also pretty good by an Italian’s standards. I had a beef tartar which was a day special and that was pretty good too. Staff are nice and welcoming, place has a nice atmosphere. And if you have small kids, they have a great area to play downstairs. And staff is really understanding of parents with young kids. Also, they allow a pasta or pizza for only CHF 9 for kids - this is really good value for money. Most restaurants in Zurich just have a small discount vs the adult version. Would recommend it for sure.

Was in Switzerland Zurich on holiday. Lunch time and saw this restaurant Santa Lucia. Both indoor and outdoor dining. Weather was chilly and comfy decided to dine outdoor. Waitress was very cordial and friendly. We ordered Pizza and Pasta. No expectation. Shortly, food arrived, the serving was very generous and the taste i dare say 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻! Love the olive oil wrapped around my pasta. Yummy!

Crowded restaurant. The food is great- genuine food prepared with the heart. Kids get to choose any item on the menu at a price of CHF 9- it’s not so salty yet very flavourful, just right for the young ones. Staff automatically split the pizza into 2 portions when we mention that we’re sharing. Toilet is very clean and even has a corner of kids to play at the basement floor.

The food was below expectations. Both Lasagna and pizza was not enough warm, dry, taste of ingredients very old specially with pizza, black around the teig. Very disappointing and never come back

In an attempt to broaden my horizons in regard to dinner while in Zurich I tried Santa Lucia. I dined solo. Luckily I reserved a seat inside because a fast moving front passed during dinner time. The employees were friendly. The food was delicious. The bruschetta was excellent.

A great Italian food in Zurich. Excellent menu and super friendly staff (Italian style). Me and my fiancee tried a few Italian places in Zurich and this place was definitely the best one. Highly recommend it and sit outside if you can😊

I went and dined-in with my family and I. Absolutely loved the food. Ordered the Margarita Pizza, Lemon Roseto, and Pink Spaghetti. I would absolutely be craving it when I go back home🥲. As well as the service was so welcoming and fast. 100% recommend🫶🏼

The food was delicious, but what's clear is that this restaurant is racist. I visited for my honeymoon, but it takes 30 minutes just to take orders and 30 minutes to come out. Especially, the attitude of the waiters is never pleasant. have to learn respect for customers. It was the worst service I can still remember years later. I don't know how many times I called to get a just one fork. There were even two people.
