I have to admit that the sweets are really good, however the coffee is so terrible that I have to give two stars to the place. Also, the Café Gilles looks elegant, that’s it, but the only thing that goes in accordance with the fancy decor are the prices: it is not a cheap place.

This is THE place to come for a great dessert! The coffee was not a highlight but the desserts are absolutely amazing.

Something I love about this place are their delicious deserts. This place is located in downtown of Geneva and if you like to taste different kind of appetizer this is the right place.

Cold coffee and was initially served the flattest pain au chocolat the world has ever seen. When asked if this was normal I was told with a shrug “they’re all like that”. So apparently it’s ok to serve pastries which look like they’ve been stepped on now? Extremely poor. Half-hearted service and was over-charged when I left. This place has definitely had its day by now.

Used to be lovely. But now has gone downhill and the service is terrible. Maybe it was because I was with a black friend, who was very large or maybe they are just too busy being aggressive to hear what you are saying. We left. Too many nice places on the road to waste time being abused. The food certainly isn’t worth it. And yes, it was here that we had the bad experience. I deleted the posting where you said you only had one employee and posted here because this is the establishment to which I referred ( apparently around the corner) So yes. Great food and coffee

The restaurant offers a good variety of courses for dining in or take away. We had a solomon sandwich for take away.

One of the best Sunday tea time place I geneva. Always great choice of cakes and dessert! Had a fig tart that is in season, yum~

Everything is always fresh, tasty. You can take to go or have a seat when it is allowed. Highly recommended! Atmosphere is great.

Maison Desplanches cozy Cafe Bar in the city center. The Entrance is a bit discreet and the street number is not visible. The entrance is same as the UBS bank at the street corner of the busy Bel Air roundabout few steps from Confederation Centre. They have wide varieties of pastries & sandwiches.

Really nice selection of desserts at good prices. The people working there are friendly too.

We had here some dessert after lunch. The large selection of desserts looks very good and the service is very friendly. The quality and taste were really very good. We can recommend that place.

We had a chicken sandwich and different desserts suggested by the staff there. The desserts were amazing and I wish I could taste more. The staff there is also very helpful.

The cookies was not that good compared to the price.
