The food was really good. Loved the atmosphere. I will be going here again for sure.

This place is consistently consistent. I don’t think I’ve ever been there when it’s crazy. It’s got this cozy hole in the wall bar feel, but a sort of family restaurant. Imagine a place where teachers go for happy hour. That’s Set ‘me Up Jacks. Staff is so so. Some are happy. Some are just there, but friendly. Food is good. Tvs everywhere. Game room. Perfect for the bar fly that wants to hear the giggle of children. I’d say try it out. It may not be for you, but maybe it is. ***3 year later update. Got a bad burger and it was personally remade and compensated.

This place is fantastic. Excellent service. Bailey was awesome and totally deserves a raise. No, I don't know her. I had the chicken fried steak special and it was better than mom makes. Very cool atmosphere. Will definitely go again next time we go through that way. Two thumbs up recommendation.

Def hit or miss. Sometimes the food is great, other times not so much. Sometimes the service is fast, other times not. Burgers are reliably good. Wait staff is always friendly. Mondays (burger special and big beers) are a good night to come.

Happily accommodated our party of 7 adults and 2 children. Server was friendly and attentive. All meals as described, and enjoyed. If you are a trivia, poker, or sports fan, you will LOVE being surrounded by screens - one of which is the largest I've seen in a restaurant!

I had the blackened chicken Caesar and it was delicious! I was solo and working through lunch. My server Bailey was so sweet and accommodating. Great service is hard to come by, really appreciated it!

Went there for my birthday with 5 other people I had the Caribbean jerk style wings they were awesome, if you like wings I highly recommend trying them. Everyone else got chicken fried steak and everyone cleared their plate. I didn't go on a game night but I bet it would be a great atmosphere for game days and family friendly.

We are frequent patrons but the burgers were very dry and burned on bottom and slow to bring to table. My daughter said they were that way last time she went. I'm hoping this is not going to happen again because we like your place.

How have a not reviewed Set Em Up Jack's yet?! This is our spot! They have awesome daily specials and delicious food! Our service is always great! Chicken Fried Thursdays are one of my favorites, and kids eat free on Sunday and Wednesday! We will be back, over and over again!

Tonight I ordered one of the specials which was an open-faced roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. I was a bit disappointed with the way it was put together. The Texas toast was on the side rather than under the meat, and the meat was more pulled than sliced. The taste was okay but the presentation was not what I expected. The service was excellent but not overbearing or intruding.

Went there with a friend on Monday, and it was half-price burgers, and I ended up getting the burger with an egg on top. Gosh, I wish I could remember the name of it. But the flavor was so good, and once the egg burst, it added so much more flavor. The wait staff was amazing and attentive as well. Overall a great place to eat.

Nice sports bar/restaurant with a good family atmosphere and good food selection. The service was good. In particular, our server was very pleasant and responsive. The food was not bad but not great. Probably wouldn't seek it out but it would be a good place to watch the game/games or for some quick bat food. Overall, I have no complaints and the family enjoyed the visit.

Came in with a group of 12, we had reservations and our table was waiting for us. Service was a little slow but the wait staff were very busy and the restaurant was full. I had the catfish fillet dinner with beans, coleslaw and a side salad. Everything was prepared well and very tasty. They also have a great draft beer selection and it is an excellent place to watch a game.

Food was decent, had their beef steak special which was great actually, wifw had chicken wings and they weren't the best tho. We went to watch the KU football game since id heard they have a nice big screen. I'd definitely go again to watch a game and have some nice food. Staff are nice !

Good sports bar to unwind. Plenty of screens to watch. Can be dark if coming in during a bright day. Fat Bottom Burger was right from the grill hot. Cooked as ordered and pretty good. Fried Jalapeno chips were average to poor for bar food. Acceptable pricing. Very good and attentive wait service.

Good food for a sports bar and grill. I've only ever been for the food. Friendly staff, tasty food, and fast service. They've got daily specials and a good variety on the menu. My sister's favorite the ultimate club sandwich and mine is the chicken fried steak.

My work manager and my colleagues went to Jack's for a relaxing Christmas celebration. The food was amazing (I highly recommend a fat bottom burger, btw), and the service was top-notch. We all left with a great dining experience. Thanks, Jack's!

Good place to grab lunch. I go here once a week. The waitresses and the manager are the best. Bailey is super solid and my fav. I don't drink much but the beer selection looks decent.

Jack's is always a great time. My favorite dishes are sweet fire boneless wings, the enchilada special on Tuesdays, and the chicken fried steak. If you need a vegetable like me with every dish, order a side of the sauteed veg. So good.

Our first time here. We made a reservation for 10 people. Our table was ready when we arrived. Nice variety of options on the menu. Pricing is very fair. Everyone ordered something different and it was all delicious. The service was good and we all agreed we would return and also recommend to others.

Everything I ate was pretty good except the boneless wings. They came out semi raw. Other than that food was great . Servers were perfect .

Wednesday are great wing nights. They have great drink specials & scotch whiskey for $7/glass. Can't beat that. A good neighborhood bar & grill.

I eat here often. I like the variety of foods. And the chicken tenders are fire. The atmosphere is laid back and a good place to chill and watch the game. The customer service is also great. Oh yea and the drinks are cool. This a nice affordable place to relax

I've been coming to jacks for over 16 years. Never have I had a bad experience. Management, servers, bartenders and owners all all phenomenal. Definitely has the family feel here ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I eat here quite a bit, mostly bringing in customers for lunch. The service is always great! The waitstaff is friendly the managers check in and the food is consistently good. I really like the tenderloin. Hidden trick, ask for the steak fries. I haven't seen them on the menu but upon request you get them.

Good drinks, food is tasty. I really like the catfish. My son says they have the best burgers in Lawrence. The servers are always great. Atmosphere is good- it's a nice place to watch a ballgame. They have karaoke too.
