Better than Jade Garden. Nice portion for the price, food always arrives hot! My faves are the orange peel chicken, any lo mein, spare ribs, and fried dumplings!

Our favorite restaurant in the west side. The family that owns/operates this restaurant are great people. Food is top notch we’ve tried most items but always go back to shrimp egg rolls, dumplings, lo mein, shrimp with mixed vegetables, and Mongolian beef or kung pao chicken. I’ve eaten at many Chinese restaurants across the us the only one I’ve eaten at that compares was the China town in Vancouver.

The food is hot and fresh, and it is a family business that puts out a consistent and delicious product. Also, BEST crab rangoon in town. Pro tip: add a bit of sriracha to your crab rangoon to revolutionize your crab rangoon experience.

Best egg rolls in all of Lawrence. There combos are great size with plenty of food. Go to: veggie lomien, veggie fried rice, cashew chicken, egg rolls, crab Rangoon and sweet & sour chicken. Always very busy and always gets food done in under 15-20 mins.

China house is a great family owned business with excellent food. All ingredients fresh and properly prepared. This is veg lo mein and spring roll. Chicken with broccoli is best you will have.

Best and most consistent restaurant on the west side of town. Also best general tso’s in town. Crab rangoon’s and pork eggrolls are amazing. Family that runs the store is super nice and I am so happy they’ve had success for so many years. Highly, highly recommend.

Fantastic prices considering the amount of food I get. Im full and haven't finished my lunch and it was only 7 bucks. The portion looks just as big as any other normal meal. 5 or 6 shrimp with rice and veggies. Great flavor. Nice staff. I'm happy and will definitely order again.

I recently moved to Boulder CO from Lawrence KS and I have been searching for any chinese place that's as good as this one. I ususally get the Mongolian beef, but I've ordered 10 different dishes over the years I've gone year and they are all excellent

6 tables in dining room, covered in some type of film. Tso chicken was tough and over cooked ragoon tasted stale. No soap in bathroom that staff uses too

The atmosphere is good, kits just not a dinning place. They do have tables and chairs but their food is so good that I would rather enjoy it from my own home but everything else, was spot on. I love their egg drop soup. Everything from three is SOOO good. And their fried dumplings. Oh my goSh, Soo good

Last visit I thought the interior of the restuarant looked horrible. Storing boxes of paperware, etc in hallway to restrooms. Booths are worn out and torn. Floor looked greasy even though mopped. Windows were marred with finger prints. Their "phone booth" for COVID safety at the register has wear and tear look and very uninviting. I will never eat in again. Take out, Yes as the food is still amazing.

The pepper beef lunch special had inedible, rubbery beef. This was our first time so perhaps others know not to get beef here. The taste was good.....but chew, chew, chew, chew. No thanks. The hot tea was hot water in a Styrofoam cup with a lipton tea bag.

The food was awesome. My go-to order at American Chinese restaurants is General Tso's and crab rangoon, and they did a great job. The food was flavorful, hot, and fresh.

Dumpling wrappers are thick and not what I’m used to. Definitely more traditional but not for me. Lo mein, rice and soup are ok. Probably won’t go here again.

The very best Chinese food in Lawrence. Fast, and the prices are low and fair. I've gone to several other Chinese restaurants in Lawrence, but the food and prices at China House are the best.

I just spent $70 on 7 items which is affordable, but none of it is edible. nothing tasted good and the shrimp wasn't cleaned. I ate 1 bite of each item and ended up spitting it out.

Because it’s impossible to find a menu online, there you go. Pretty good, pretty typical prices. Bonus points because it’s made to order so it’s hot and fresh! Also definitely agree that the crab Rangoo is the best I’ve had.

there was a piece of plastic in my girlfriend’s food… and there was peanuts in the low mein! which she is allergic too . i know it’s our responsibility but it would be nice to see it on the menu!!

I had not eaten here for a while, as the last couple of times were not a great as usual. Today I got the beef and broccoli lunch combination. The best part was the egg drop soup, except the crispy noodles were very stale. The fried rice was very oily. The beef was good and tender. I need another place.

This used to be one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in town and today I ordered the orange chicken. It had a nickel size chicken bone in one of the pieces. I’m glad I didn’t choke. Completely changed my appetite for the day.
