We love this park. At the beginning we left him on a leash, but dogs are actually friendlier to each other when off leash. Come w old clothes and shoes because the dogs might get you wet or a little muddy. Best for bigger kids, probably not too little ones, unless you carry them or keep the on your shoulders. Dogs there are very playful. There are two kiddie pools and the dogs love it.

Randomly placed on the top of the hill is an odd celebration of Lawrence history. There's a short path that is a timeline for Lawrence with businesses from different years. This path ends at a weird chunk of concret standing off to the side that houses a time capsule. There is a path around the base that is popular but it doesn't seem like a lot of people actually visit the top. The view though is beautiful especially visiting at sunset.

I've been coming to this area for years it has provided many great photos and experiences I just wish it was better maintained. There are plenty of trails to bike and hike as well as bow hunting areas. The dog park is great even if you aren't a pet owner.

It is a very nice place to picnic or let your dog run. It's nice to just sit there looking out over the county side in the peace and quiet.

My husband and I love taking our dogs to Sesquicentennial Point. They have a few walking trails, an off-leash dog park and even a creek you can fish in. Visiting this park is a regular weekend trip.

It was Awesome! Plenty of space, bbq pits and trails. The bathroom are clean and the employees there when you need help, friendly and knowledgeable. Recommend if your in the area.

Took my dog to the off leash section and we both had a blast. She got to meet new friends and so did I. Great experience, clean and plenty of space
