In town for a work conference and staying a couple blocks down, this small town bar did not disappoint we hit them hard on a Sunday night , the 1 and only bartender was awesome and called in back up for when we came back later after dinner!! The next night we went in then it started snowing like crazy…. We were not prepared we had shown up in flip flops the owner Seanna really is an MVP and went above and beyond and drove us back to our hotel so we didn’t have to walk in the snow!! Highly recommend great service good folks and awesome drinks!! We will be back!!

When we were in Layton this was always our go to bar to just have drinks, or enjoy our night out. Always feel welcomed here and they always take care of you like family. We definitely miss their Bingo Nights and Lumpia! Totally have to come here if you are in the area.

Pretty good atmosphere. Friendly people & staff and some damn good drinks and food at fair prices. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a solid hangout. Only thing missing is maybe a few couches/lounge chairs.

Too much hate at this bar..... GO TO STOCKMANS. I LOVE the fact that Jackson has the best sound system in town, but certain staff members and lots of patrons are quite literally salty AF. Go ahead and thumbs up all those 1 stars 💜

It was probably the most fun I’ve had in awhile at a bar. The waitress was awesome. Recommended fantastic drinks, was super prompt, and was so helpful. The DJ was great and people were out dancing on the floor. We only got the jalapeño poppers to eat and they were great as well. Glad we stopped in and spent hours here. Very pleasantly surprised. It was pretty low-key before 9pm with no music then at about 9:30 on it was a packed house and music going on. Great spot!

Great place with good service, drinks and food. I met the owner and she taught me about the best food options, some delicious drinks, which I loved and made it a great time. Definitely coming back for a full meal asap

We’re from Kentucky, not a state I thought I would enjoy, temperature reasons only, husband is here for work, I travel with him, been here a week, and feel so much at home, people here are so awesome, glad we got to experience the state and the summit lounge Layton. Treated like locals! Great place! Great time, great place!

The best bar I have ever been to, I’ve never been to a bar that I’ve felt so safe, so welcomed before. If you ever go to this bar you will always feel so safe. The people who come here will always take care of you. They always remember you and take care of you. They love returning customers and do little things like ( bingo, shark week, they give rewards) I will never go to another bar because this bar is the only one that makes me want to come back every time, everyone here is so sweet and they always have the same ppl working and you know that’s a good sign. Always come here if you’re in Layton area.

Second time coming here but this time TAYLOR took us over the edge and took care of us on a Tuesday of all days. What a great time in the cold with the outside heaters for cigars. And then back inside for the heavy hitting karaoke. Thanks again Taylor!

Summit Lounge is one of my favorite local hang out spots. The owner is amazing and goes above and beyond for her customers. She makes everyone feel welcome and loved, especially for special events. Staff is great! Live DJ on Saturday. They have a nice patio outside with seating and fires. And their food is good! You gotta try the lumpia and jalapeño poppers.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time. Last night, my wife and I finally made it. We arrived around 6:30. We sat at the bar facing the west. Through the night we migrated to the end of the bar nearest the side door to make room for other people at the bar. The female and male bartenders were welcoming and provided great service. I asked the female bartender if she could make a jalapeño margarita. She happily found a way to create a makeshift drink using jalapeño juice. Between my wife and I, we ordered eight drinks. These two bar tenders were truly professional and attentive to the customer’s needs. Great staff. I’m retired AF and I appreciate the jet mural and the military theme in the room. Unfortunately, the female bartender left and a new female bartender, I think her name is Taylor, came on. The bar started getting busy and Taylor mentioned there were three parties that night. Later she asked us to move further down the bar so they could open a second line. From this point on there was no service on our side of the bar. My wife and I and another couple sat with empty glasses for about ten minutes. Since the bartenders weren’t serving our side of the bar, I finally got in one of the two order lines. I ordered a double whiskey. Taylor said, I can give you a single whiskey. I said, ok, give me two single whiskeys. One for me and one for my wife. Taylor asked, does she have a drink in front of her? I replied, no, neither of us has a drink because no one has come to serve us. To which she replied, if you haven’t noticed, we’re pretty busy. I said, ok… let me close out my tab and we’ll leave. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone so unprofessional and rude. If you know you have three parties, you know it’s going to be busy. You have two door men, one cook and one DJ. The two bartenders exclusively served the two order lines and that side of the bar and she’s going to tell be they’re busy? Busy? It should’ve been, I’m sorry we didn’t have enough foresight to ensure we have enough bartenders for regular business and three parties. I guess they figured they are making enough money from three parties and they other customers were unnecessary and unwanted.

This place is a nice change from the other bars in utah. The staff is super friendly. Mallory is a great server and has one of the best special drinks I have come across. If you are ever there when she works ask for her special drink. It’s tastes good and goes down smooth. She is also down to earth and super nice.

Best wings ever! I have so much fun here every time I am in town. I love karaoke nights.

Summit is one of those places where everyone seems to know each other, and if you're a stranger, someone will come up to you and talk with you and make you part of the family. Karaoke is a blast. Sweet Caroline will make the entire bar sing at the top of their lungs. I don't know why, but it's endearing AF. It's like their national anthem. Don't pass it up if you're visiting from out of town, and if you're a local, welcome home. There are lots of really good pool players too, so since Crown is gone, this is a great place to practice.

What a deception!!! Today was my very first time at this place, I was thirsty and hungry, I asked for a menu and I ordered a $11+ dollar burger and hopping to have something good for what I paid for and what a surprise I got when I saw the burger SMALL very SMALL for 11+ dollars just not worth it!!! I decided to leave the place I didn't eat that McDonald's s.chiken🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 and the worst part was the guy I complained about this situation was the bar tender and seems like he didn't give a F. That a costumer was not happy, 0 stars. I don't recommend this place at all!!! just not worth it Any Luck in other places thats good to know you saw my complaints in other places? But no!! That's not the point .Have you seen the good reviews i have for other places? Well this place (reviews)has been made to place complaints because, unfortunately employees never report whatever they do wrong, in my case I asked and I said first before to post any comments... I said, is this an $11 dollars burger? Is the smallest I ever had, and if I was the manager there at least they should say something like ... Would you like to eat something else, Sir ? But nope they didn't do it, also I told the girl that attended me( very good btw),I like this bar!!! This is my first time here and I like it. My complaints is for the food because is not fair at all to charge to the public an 11 dollars burger that was not even a quarter one it was more like a jr. Cheese burger trust me not kidding and if I'm here complaining is because thanks this comments your place will become even better. I don't need anything free I paid and I always leave a good tip at any place 💯 but this time, just was what It was.

Summit Lounge was great! Great atmosphere and 🍺 beer! Awesome people who played songs on the juke box! Played "Dust in the wind" by Kansas, then we heard it on our Harley radio on our the way home! Thanks! 😊 Fun time!

Came out with some friends last night , this is the second time I've come to this place it's a great atmosphere. But this time the D.J. was late arriving 10:15 when it says starts at 10, and people were putting money in the jukebox. The jukebox was playing better music. We ended up leaving early. Was a little disappointed, but will probably go back because it's a cool spot to hang out.

Kind of love this place. Prices were crazy cheap, and the food and drink were perfect. Had a grilled cheese with bacon and pepper jack and it was both crunchy and cheesy. The fries were just right too. The drinks were done right, beer, old fashion, tasty shots. Staff were all friendly. Crowd was unpretentious but cool and interesting in the 20-30s (maybe a few 40s) Considering I was there on a random Tuesday they seem popular.

Best bar in Utah. Honestly. Great people/family run it. Great locals I get to call friends now, support it. I miss it. I spent a month in the area and everyone here took me in like I was theirs. I miss it. When I get back, I know where I'm welcome.

Boo! We came by to play breaking bingo and will never come back. It was awful. They did not have even close to enough seating. The bouncer kept staring at us and approaching us every time we moved because we were near one of the pool tables. However the group that was sitting at the other pool table was never once spoken to or approached by the bouncer. We felt harassed and unwanted. This was a celebration from my son's 23rd birthday and it was completely ruined by the staffs rudeness. We repeatedly tried to order food and drinks and was completely ignored except by the bouncer who was in our faces every time we took a step. Save your money and go to a fun place.

I love this place! They have good drink options and good food. They even serve Lumpia! Which you won’t find at any other bar. There is a good mixture of all different type of crowds and ages. Which their awesome DJ, DJ Jackson, accommodates to on Saturday’s request night. The owner, Seanna, is the best! She is so friendly, and she always makes me feel welcomed every time I see her. One of the bartenders, Tyler, even surprised me by remembering what I drink and having it ready by the time I got up to the bar. How’s that for service! I was like, “Whhhhattt!?”.[Insert my heart eyes here]. This is a place that you definitely need to try.

Hidden gem right in the middle of Old Town Layton. Shopping, and hotels all around. Great atmosphere and the food is amazing! Staff is awesome, and easy on the eyes too. Drinks were refreshing. The patio area is awesome and chill. Such a chill vibe. Definitely will be back.

Love our little hometown bar. We are always treated like family and that is huge for me. They have amazing food for lunch, dinner and as chasers. The drinks come fast and cold. Mama always has something going on to keep you entertained at the bar. It's clean, cozy and also a great place to have a little party. I don't go anywhere else amd neither do my friends. Fun neighborhood bar reminiscent of ‘Cheers’ - literally everybody knows your name. Great drinks, real good if you’re hungry, cute private beer garden - smoking allowed! Super fun community building nights like Thursday night Bingo with $2500 grand prize!!

I love it here! Came for a night out for dinner with the husband. Learned about bingo night and all the fun things they do here and have started coming regularly for date night. Also Bam is the best! Couldn’t be a more chill place! No drama, not ever worried about the crowd or what might happen her! Super chill and we will continue to return time and time again!

This place is ALIVE in the weekend (not sure about the weekdays). I came to the karaoke Friday and DJ Saturday. They have billiards, drinks, food, outside smoking area, and you can get crazy drunk. I had a great time!

The owners are really great people that are always working to make this bar better each day. They do delicious drink specials, and the atmosphere is very relaxed and fun! Pool tables, a good bar to grab a seat at, and a relaxed patio for fresh air. The owners are very festive and decorate for the holidays. Love Summit Lounge!
