The best hostel on my Camino Frances. Location is perfect in city center. Hostel is super new and super clean. Amazingly kind staff. Breakfast is included in price and is really good. They have private and shared rooms. Highly recommend to book it in advance.

Hostel When I arrived in Leon as a pilgrim I had the option of the municipal Albergue or The Quartier Jabalquinto! From the photos and high reviews I decided to treat myself and pay the €5 extra to stay here and it was such a great choice. I paid €17 for the 10 person shared dorm but the 18 person shared dorm is €15. The hospitaleras were so kind and gave me a tour of the hostel, offered me a beer and actually helped me cook my dinner for me when I went upstairs to make a phone call! The hostel itself if the nicest place I’ve stayed at on the Camino by far. It is a mideval style building with a great kitchen equipped with a toaster over, microwave, toaster, fridge, kettle, sink, and many courtesy spices and oils but no stove top. The dorms and bathrooms are super clean and spacious with the most comfortable beds and a curtains for privacy. The breakfast is included each morning and includes coffee, tea, milks, orange juice, cereal, bread, jam, oatmeal, and biscuits. The upstairs lounge area is cozy and hygge with books and games and even a tv! It’s also right in the city center which is the BEST location. I was going to stay just a night but as I am healing from an injury I will extend for a few more nights because I feel so taken care of here! The hostel began in February of 2020 and has had to shut down so many times in the last 2 years, I’m really rooting for them to continue serving people and making beautiful experiences for the people of Leon! I really couldn’t recommend it more if you’re looking to enjoy time in Leon as a traveler or pilgrim.

Excellent hostel, not only pilgrims but warm and helpful welcome from Victoria with great English, drawing maps of the most important areas was really appreciated. Best bunk beds on the Camino Francés so far.

Very disappointed in this place. Way below standard for albergue rooms. Bed was filthy. Stained with blood and dirty. Had not been washed for some time. Sheets were stained as well. Buggy. Cigarette smoke blew directly from courtyard into sleeping area No ventilation from outside or fans to assist. It’s was incredibly hot all night despite cool temperatures outside. No ventilation in bathroom. Bright lights from hallway came on whenever someone got up and shone into sleeping area and also came through doors. Keypad on rooms made loud beeps whenever someone came and went, which was all night. Music turned on around 6 am. Hospitalera was friendly at least.

Everything was excellent. Highly recommend it for pilgrims. Breakfast was included in the price. No curfew so you can enjoy a late evening out for fun. The staff was kind and helpful. Thank you for a great rest day!

Very nice hostel with very friendly and helpful staff. Also breakfast coffee tea were very good and unusual for the price. Only negative point is the lack of possibility to wash and hang things by hand. If you only have 2,3 things to wash you don't use the overpriced washer/dryer (about half the price of a bunk bed). But the stay was still very pleasant

Great rooms. Everything clean. Kind helpful staff. Breakfast included!! Sometimes the receptionist is gone but besides that very warm and welcome. Could have a bigger bathroom. Just one toilet 🙁. Still very worth the short stay. Great price!

Very friendly welcome from Andrea who helped us find the best restaurants & bars in the city and a lovely refuge with an insane view in Los Picos de Europa. Will definitely stay there again when I come back.

Jorge and Javier do everything possible to make sure your stay with them goes as smooth as possible. They are amazing host and are extremely helpful. They take pride in what they do and it comes naturally to them. What more do you need? The entire building is clean. The beds are comfortable and come equipped with everything one needs. Outlets, lamp, curtain and locker. Shower (hot water!) and restrooms are clean as well. There’s a very comfortable common area with books and games. There’s also a simple breakfast to get your day going. It’s centrally located so what else do you need? I would definitely stay here again. Gracias Señores.

I arrived a broken injured man, 4 days later after experiencing A1 accommodation complimented with A1 staff. I depart at 6am ! If the Camino was 10,000 km I could not expect to fine better hospitality. God bless you all. Gavin Holmes New Zealand,
