Hostel
When
I
arrived
in
Leon
as
a
pilgrim
I
had
the
option
of
the
municipal
Albergue
or
The
Quartier
Jabalquinto!
From
the
photos
and
high
reviews
I
decided
to
treat
myself
and
pay
the
€5
extra
to
stay
here
and
it
was
such
a
great
choice.
I
paid
€17
for
the
10
person
shared
dorm
but
the
18
person
shared
dorm
is
€15.
The
hospitaleras
were
so
kind
and
gave
me
a
tour
of
the
hostel,
offered
me
a
beer
and
actually
helped
me
cook
my
dinner
for
me
when
I
went
upstairs
to
make
a
phone
call!
The
hostel
itself
if
the
nicest
place
I’ve
stayed
at
on
the
Camino
by
far.
It
is
a
mideval
style
building
with
a
great
kitchen
equipped
with
a
toaster
over,
microwave,
toaster,
fridge,
kettle,
sink,
and
many
courtesy
spices
and
oils
but
no
stove
top.
The
dorms
and
bathrooms
are
super
clean
and
spacious
with
the
most
comfortable
beds
and
a
curtains
for
privacy.
The
breakfast
is
included
each
morning
and
includes
coffee,
tea,
milks,
orange
juice,
cereal,
bread,
jam,
oatmeal,
and
biscuits.
The
upstairs
lounge
area
is
cozy
and
hygge
with
books
and
games
and
even
a
tv!
It’s
also
right
in
the
city
center
which
is
the
BEST
location.
I
was
going
to
stay
just
a
night
but
as
I
am
healing
from
an
injury
I
will
extend
for
a
few
more
nights
because
I
feel
so
taken
care
of
here!
The
hostel
began
in
February
of
2020
and
has
had
to
shut
down
so
many
times
in
the
last
2
years,
I’m
really
rooting
for
them
to
continue
serving
people
and
making
beautiful
experiences
for
the
people
of
Leon!
I
really
couldn’t
recommend
it
more
if
you’re
looking
to
enjoy
time
in
Leon
as
a
traveler
or
pilgrim.
