This steak and shake has an automated kiosk. This allowed me to take extra time to go over the menu. I ordered the triple meat triple cheese steak burger with cheese fries and a large oreo pumpkin spice milk shake. I paid by credit card, picked my seat and in no time my burger and fries came out hot and ready. My shake came out while I was still acquiring seasoning salt, pepper, flatware and napkins. Everyone was nice and the food had great flavor!

It’s my birthday month so I get to pick places to eat! Restaurant and bathrooms were super clean! Food was hot and delicious! Loved the garlic sauce on my burger! My boyfriend got the double cheeseburger and said it was very good! Fries were hot and crispy! We ordered shakes for Happy Hour 1/2 off! He got the Reese’s Peanut Butter shake and I got the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup shake. Yes they are different and both are delicious! Staff was very friendly!

We made three orders, the food was quick, fresh, and delicious. We had a total of 4 steak burgers all different and they were all perfect. The onion rings came out amazing. The shakes were good. We had no complaints about the hot dog kids meal from the child in our group. The coffee was a little weak but still good even at 3:30 in the afternoon. Definitely a good place to stop right off 65 if you're travelling.

I cannot see this brand lasting. The kiosks and ppl throwing food on the counter isn't Steak and Shake. The food is still Steak and Shake, but the menu is dramatically reduced. I will give the Lebanon one credit. Steak and Shake has always had sketch bathrooms. This one was clean. The fries are still stringy, the steak burgers are still prepared on a griddle and they still have Chili 5 way, but it ain't the same.

Steak N Shake is a good place to get a burger still after many years. We are fans of the Steak N Shake brand and we did enjoy the sit down restaurant feel that once was part of the brand too. They have shifted away from this since I've last been in a Steak N Shake but they still have good food from this last experience. We had to order from the kiosk since that's really the only way to go but it worked ok so no real issues there. We tried the Wisconsin style butter burger and I have to say that the butter level was pretty good. Steak burgers are good in themselves but making it a butter burger brings it up a notch! The shoestring fries are always awesome so get some of those without question. The shake experience I miss the most from when I came as a kid when you had the big shake including the excess from the mixing cup used to make your shake. The large shake now is about half the size. The Nutella shake was still good and overall a nice addition to the burger and fries. Overall it's a quick & good burger experience with plenty of options to choose from.

This place has lost its spark. Having a kiosk only takes away from Steak 'n Shake what it had over the other fast food franchises and that was a friendly feel good atmosphere. And that is gone. The food is still good but the variety is greatly diminished. Clean bathrooms although they need to get better soap dispensers. I can't compliment the service because the interpersonal interaction is gone beyond cooking the food and calling out a name. Also, what is the point of distinguishing between take-out and dine-in if everything gets put in a to-go bag anyway?? Complete with plastic containers and eating ware. The dine-in experience and the take-out experience should be different and you can't tell anymore.

A little weird to only have a kiosk to order from, not even an option for a person to take our order. But, we had plenty of options to customize our burgers. All ordered food was made exactly as we ordered it, the dine in was available which was great as we were traveling through and had a late night stop! We were grateful for Steak N Shake being open, having good food, a clean place to eat, and kind staff helping us!

Hate kiosk ordering and that is the only way to get food. I have asked for help from the people working and was completely ignored. I got onions, pickles and ketchup on sandwich and didn't want them. And then the kiosk asked if I wanted to leave a tip! And we had to clear our own table and sort garbage and plastic. Exactly who would get the tip? Certainly the company pays the cooks adequately.
