Very nice beach located at the southern tip of Boca Grande. Great views of the Gulf, Cayo Costa (an island across the channel) and the jetty. There is a lighthouse and museum, with restrooms as well. Currents can sometimes be fast and tricky, so don’t venture out to far.

It's a nice beach. White sand, lots of shells, but no parking with a lot of people. If you are looking for something more secluded, pull off on a side road. This is where you'll find a secluded beach. There is a rip current here so be aware. Nice restroom facilities, but there is always a line. Walkable distance from food. South Beach Bar is a 6 minute walk.

This beach is BEAUTIFUL!! We went on a Wednesday so it was not packed at all. It was $6 to get across the bridge onto the island and $3 to park which was cheap. The water was refreshing and esthetically pleasing. Coming from Massachusetts you don't see water and sand like this so it was a real treat. I would definitely recommend!!

Most beautiful beach I have ever seen in Florida! Lives her 22 years and I had yet to find a beach with such clear beautiful water. Swimming manatees 3 ft away! Shells and beautiful sand.$ 3.00 parking highly recommend!

One of the best beaches on the barrier islands. Gorgeous turquoise waters, white clean sand and never too crowded. Get there early as parking in the State park is very limited.

It doesn't get much more beautiful than Boca Grande. The beach near the southern tip of the island is quiet and peaceful. Shells are abundant. The old railway bridge ruins make for a cool backdrop. It's not too far of a walk to the public restrooms which are clean and well maintained.

Highly recommend! We went to the beach yesterday (May 14, 2022) and it was P.E.R.F.E.C.T. Only $3 to park and plenty of parking spaces when we arrived at 11:30am. Gorgeous sand, beautiful shells, refreshing water. Clear...you can see to the bottom! Very friendly people there too. Don't listen to the poor reviews! We are locals and this was our first time there. Best beach we have been on since living here (30 years between the two of us).

This is one of my favorite Florida state parks. Beautiful beach on the Gulf and lots of shells on the point. Visit the lighthouse for the island's history.

I accidentally swam with two manatees! I was just enjoying floating and swimming around in the water and two manatees appeared on my left and passed by right in front of me! The sand was beautiful, and the water was too. I will likely go again.

The Bocca Grande Island is very beautiful. Since this is a private island the cost for the entry is $6. But the beaches which I went to including state park with a beautiful beach( crystal clear greenish water, very calm) was free. Not all beach accesses have showers or restrooms. The Gasparilla Island State park has both and it’s free. There is not much to sightsee on the island, mostly residential areas and a few restaurants, which were closed. Some hotels probably offer food, but not many. If you plan to spend time on the beach then this is definitely the place.

Best place to visit the beaches on. Everyone is friendly, beaches not crowded and mother nature gives a lot of treasures that you can take home (as long as they are not alive). Not a place to go if you're looking to enjoy the water...very strong rip currents!! I would say this is better than going to Sanibel Island!! Well worth the $6 toll to cross the bridge and the $3 park fee!!

Very nice and secluded beach. We had fun. The water had a lot of algae and a strong current. I wouldn't recommend for inexperienced swimmers. The waves were nice. It was very empty when we went. Lots of sea shells on the sand.

The beach was so beautiful. We were there earlier in the day. It wasn't as crowded as you would think it would be. We went back to see the sunset and it did not disappoint.

Today (Saturday, June 17th) was our first time visiting Boca Grande and Gasparilla! $6 for the toll across the bridge and $3 to come into the park. You could tell the park (and surrounding areas) took some damage from Ian but overall it was not that bad. The beach was beautiful and the facilities were just what we needed (restrooms and a shower station). Found some cute little shells and best of all saw a cluster of manatees (aggregation)- possibly a mating ball, as it is mating season- as soon as we walked onto the beach! It was quite wavy with a strong current. We haven’t played in waves like that in years, it was fun to experience that again. But it’s nice to see that there are quite a few other reviews showing it being super calm, we will have to come back on one of those calmer days and maybe bring out the paddleboard :)

Great beach. Clean and restrooms were working! We went early morning and left by 12:30. Still wasn't crowded. Outdoor shower for sand rinses is another positive. Not dog friendly.

YESSS I love this place! The water is usually very clear and it's a nice beach area. The sunsets are very beautiful and the sunrises as well. Best place to roam around on a golf cart

Gasparilla Island is a wonderful place to hang out with friends and family. Safe with ample parking. Plenty of places to shop, eat, sit and dream about a nice beach life. There is often traffic jams coming and going.

Beautiful views both of the Gulf and of Charlotte Harbor. There were two different lighthouses to see. A fun little side trip, good for a morning or afternoon. The beaches are pretty empty compared to the ones in Englewood but parking is hard to find.

I love the beach it's not crowded, for those who like fishing, it's a good place too next to the beach.

Loved this spot. Worth the drive! $6 toll road to get there. $3 to enter. Beach wasn't too crowded. White sand and blue water. Outdoor shower to rinse off. Two restrooms. Great for families, fishing, snorkeling... can't wait to go back.

This was last on our trip down the coast and we're so glad we didn't skip it. It had the best beaches, the most shells and by far the best bike paths that covered the entire length of the island.
