Harehills Park and the cricket ground in the middle provide a delightful combination of natural beauty and a fantastic venue for small cricket matches. As a regular player, I can confidently say that this park has become one of my favorite spots for recreational cricket, offering a wonderful experience for players and spectators alike. First and foremost, Harehills Park's natural setting is truly picturesque. The lush greenery, well-maintained lawns, and towering trees create an inviting and serene atmosphere. The park provides ample space for various recreational activities, and the cricket ground is the perfect centerpiece for cricket enthusiasts. The pitch is well-maintained, providing a fair playing surface for bowlers and batsmen. One of the highlights of playing at Harehills Park and the cricket ground is the sense of community and camaraderie. The park attracts a diverse group of cricket enthusiasts, fostering a friendly and inclusive environment. It's a place where players of all skill levels can come together, share their love for the game, and enjoy a competitive yet enjoyable match. The park's location is convenient, making it easily accessible for players and spectators. The availability of parking spaces and nearby public transportation options add to the convenience of visiting the park. Additionally, the park's amenities, including seating areas and restroom facilities, contribute to a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone. Furthermore, Harehills Park offers more than just cricket. It provides a scenic backdrop for post-match gatherings, picnics, and leisurely walks. The serene environment allows players and visitors to unwind and connect with nature, creating a well-rounded experience beyond the boundaries of the cricket ground. The park's upkeep and cleanliness deserve praise. The local authorities and dedicated park staff ensure that the grounds are well-maintained and litter-free, enhancing the overall ambiance and enjoyment of the space.

Used to be a lovely place to walk round, still is but unfortunately as in most places there are the odd few who spoil it by drinking, swearing, racing about on bikes and even the odd needle dropped about. I used to walk my dog there and I am disgusted at the number of people who do not clean up after their dogs, that's why I have stopped.

Just such an embarrassing place to call a park they never fix the sports equipment and they never fix the swings or anything there it is just the park I live next to I'd like to have a lovely experience and yet it is just not pleasant to be around. But I have seen some new improvements there hope more is to come.

Not a good park for a disabled child. Literally no accessible play equipment. Such a shame that more parks are not inclusive in this day and age.

Nice park, fairly big, dog-friendly. Has an enclosed playpark for kids, enclosed tennis court and basketball court as well as goal posts and exercise equipment scattered around the area. Only problem is the litter.
