Amazing place to train, great atmosphere, great team spirit and coach Magnus is great takes time to explain techniques and always has time to help you fine tune your techniques. The facilities are always clean there's ample off street parking and there's enough classes to suit all abilities and schedules. Would highly reccomend to anybody looking to start BJJ or even just get into shape.

Love this place. All of the members are Incredibly welcoming and there's a real team mentality here where people really want to help each other learn and progress. The coaches are great too, very knowledgeable and patient, its a pleasure to learn from them. wish I joined this gym sooner!

I’ve been attending GB Horsforth since June and honestly wish I’d joined sooner. I absolutely love it here and can’t recommend it enough. It was an extremely warm, friendly and welcoming environment to step into as a newbie, and I’ve since made great connections with my fellow classmates and coach. There’s a real social and community aspect to the training. The standard of the coaching and training is excellent. The way the classes are structured works really well, demonstrations are always clearly explained, and any questions are always answered. The space is clean and well maintained. It’s a great workout and skill set to develop too, it makes you feel like you’re really working towards something.

I've been training here for 3 months now and have had lots of support and progress. Magnus is really helpful, as are all the other people there. Everyone is focused on progressing whilst keeping it fun, and I see myself staying for a very long time! Highly recommend for anyone interested in martial arts or just making their fitness more fun!

Really good experience at Gracie Barra Horsforth! A really good set up at the facility and the head coach , Magnus, is very approachable, very knowledgeable and has a good training style. There is a good number of classes throughout the week, which are great for all shift patterns! I would highly recommend Gracie Barra Horseforth to anyone considering Jiu jitsu!

Amazing coaching!!! It starts from the top. Everybody looks to help each other grow and develop whilst retaining a supportive and friendly atmosphere. This is no easy culture to develop and maintain, but has been done so by coach Magnus. Could not recommend highly enough!

Absolutely Incredible. A very welcoming environment, it has a calm, disciplined yet friendly feel to it too. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable, approachable and I find them to be humble too. These values seem to spread through everyone who trains too. I love training there and learn ALOT in every single session!

I am a few months in to training now and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to bjj. Each week presents a new challenge and everyone at the gym is there to help and guide each other through the process. I would recommend to anyone and I can’t wait to continue to develop!
