On arrival at the coach pick up point the meet and greet service was excellent. Two girls met us and they were very helpful. The coach to the site was very nice and very clean. On arrival at the Emmerdale site it was chaotic, we were held on the bus for 15 minutes before being allowed disembark. We purchased a cup of coffee from the catering facility, this was both very expensive and the quality of the coffee was appalling - we threw it away, what a waste of money. Jacob was our guide and he was very informative. We both enjoyed the visit to the site and seeing the various sites and filming locations. Returning to the coach pick up point there was no coach available. I need to walk with crutches and there was no facility to sit down whilst awaiting the arrival of the coach. Overall we had a very enjoyable time the guide was excellent the tour was great and the weather shown on us.

Fantastic birthday present and what a perfect time to go as they celebrate 50 years of Emmerdale. Sasha our tour guide was informative, fun, chatty and generally brilliant! Loved reminiscing about the classic story lines. Would highly recommend for any Emmerdale fan! Covered every aspect of looking after us all especially in the extreme heatwave. Loved the little pub at the start. Worth a visit to The New Inn pub too. โค๏ธ

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour, it was a lovely day out finished off with a nice meal at the pub pick up/drop off point. The weather was good but even if it had been bad it wouldnโ€™t have mattered to me. Just to be on the set where my favourite characters appear was brilliant. To match the houses and buildings to the characters was fun. The vet, the cafe, Davidโ€™s shop, The Woolpack, Pampamandas, The B & B, Take A Vow, Cains garage, the Church, the village hall, the allotment, the graveyard, The Hop, the stone bridge. It was great to get pics stood next to them all. My tip to get the most out of it would be to purchase a Souvenir Guide and read it before the tour (and a Davidโ€™s Shop bag to carry it in). You can buy it (or collect it if you have pre bought it) from the kiosk at the area where the coach drops you off on set. You have time to read it before the tour starts. Having read it once I got home I realised I wouldโ€™ve got much more out of the tour if Iโ€™d read it before it started. Canโ€™t wait to come back. Thanks to all the lovely staff that make this a possibility x

Amazing experience!!! Definitely recommend not only emmerdale mad fans to do this but anyone would love it. Our tour guide was great (regrettably I can't remember her name) but she was on the 12.30 tour on Sunday 8th November. You get to see so much and relate when watching it now. Want to do it again ๐Ÿ˜

Well organised and set at an easy relaxed pace. Millie was a font of all knowldege and provided an insight to one of TVs most popular programmes. I'm not a fan but even I found it interesting and enjoyable. The pick up point for the coach was run with military precision next to the pub. Glad we didnt have to walk from the car park down to the set as I would have struggled. My wife loved the place and we took dozens of photos. Recommended.

Enjoyed this visit arrived on a coach trip so we were split into 2 groups, 1st group went off and we were to follow around 20 mins later so we sat and waited on the bus ..no one told us there was a cafe just inside so we missed the chance to buy a coffee and they missed out on some extra cash, the tour itself was really good nice opportunity to see the set the tour lasts around 2 hrs. Our guide was really good and gave us lots of information..

Being a big fan of the show it was a brilliant and memorable experience ๐Ÿ˜ one that I would highly recommend. The tour guides are so informative and share so much of their behind the scenes knowledge. Holly one of our tour guides was so lovely and friendly and it was only her first day. Prepare for it to be busy but still a great day out.

Wanted to do for this for a while, and glad I got around to it. Husna, the tour guide was very informative and friendly, and it was great to be on the set I've watched for ages. Only criticism would be the price of the merchandise, expected it to be pricey, but found it excessively so. Plenty of photos though to remind me of a memorable day. Would certainly return.

Today, 28/05/22, my wife and I visited the Emmerdale Tour of the village Our Tour Guide Clemmy was outstanding, her knowledge and enthusiasm was for all to see. Any question she couldnโ€™t answer she found out from the fountain of Emmerdale knowledge who gave the answer. We travelled from the midlands and the 2hr 21mins journey was well worth every penny. To see how it all fits in the episodes is just amazing

Very well organised experience! Coach pickup from meeting place to the village, personable guide for the tour and return coach back. Spent around 2 & half hours there. Drinks & snacks available before entering the village as are toilets. Merchandise is a bit pricey but probably on par with most other places! Only negative is check the post code of the meeting place as there's another pub with the same name about 10 mins away! Very enjoyable day out!

I took my sister on the tour for her birthday and she loved it. I (shock/horror ๐Ÿคฃ) hadn't watched Emmerdale in decades so I was a little bemused listening to the guide talking about characters I'd never heard of. However, even I enjoyed the tour. Well presented by Naomi. She was informative, engaging and funny. It was lovely seeing 'The Woolie' and the whole outdoor set. Loved walking round the graveyard (weird like that) although I was exclaiming 'oh my I didn't know THEY had died every now and then! Would recommend.

A fantastic experience. If you watch the show, it's a great opportunity to walk through the village and see all of the external sets. Don't get this mixed up with the studio internal set, though. This is external viewing only as most indoor shots are filmed on a different location.

As a fan of Emmerdale this studio experience didn't fail to please. Ben our tour guide was brilliant, very knowledgeable and informative. There was too much to see for me to make comments on so a visit is a must. Stopped off at Esholt on our way home where the original Woolpack is for a meal but unfortunately the landlord and landlady are leaving in Feb so had stopped serving meals but we enjoyed a wine and beer and a look at old Emmerdale casts photos, brilliant.

This Tour is a scam. Totally unorganised 20minute wait on coach to get into grounds after breaking our neck to get there. No Dingle house as part of Your which should be on website. Holly the guide told us coach will stop outside Dingle house on way out but did'nt. Exhibition a joke 5 costumes and picture of character not even wearing them ! Refreshment & souvenir shop a butty van with a mile long queue outside in all weathers no cover, no seats, nothing just a car park ! Everyone giving 5 stars reviews must be "extras or paid" as everyone else complaining. No way of contacting organisers to complain and no Management on site. Very mis leading website description as said " all October booking get a limited edition script sample" when asked Holly the tour guide said yes you just had it...me ! This Tour actually put me off Emmerdale SO AVOID THIS CONVEYOR BELT TOUR ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก

After waiting for two years to do the tour I was very disappointed with the overall experience. There were no refreshments available on the day as the kiosk was not open. The weather was very hot and at no point on the tour was there any time for a pit stop to have a rest or a drink. We were rushed through the village as there were other tours catching us up. We did not get to see the Sharmers House or the Dingles or Eric's House, and only saw these from the coach going out. We could not take pictures of one set of houses as the storyline would have a spoiler alert. The gift shop was tiny and lots if people queuing yo get in. Really need some thought into how they can make this a full rounded experience

We decided to book a last minute place the night before our visit, as we wanted to pass sometime away whilst working! I have always wanted to visit the set but something always got in the way, so this was a perfect opportunity and we are glad that we visited the set certainly didnโ€™t disappoint! We parked at the pub just down the road and then made our way to the complimentary coach, so easy, to be honest I thought that it would be a faff but it wasnโ€™t. Once aboard, it was a short journey down the road, and we made it onto the set. We waited around 25 minutes for our tour guide, which was absolutely perfect as it gave you a good chance to use the facilities and look round the shop and explore round by the Hop! Once our guide Sasha was available she assembled us into our group and we walked down to the village, She was so knowledgeable, friendly and funny, she even took our pictures when we asked her, a fabulous guide, in-fact I have to say that every member of staff working the last tour on Saturday 26th was amazing and friendly, from coach driver and staff at the pub to the lads and girls in the shop, on this basis alone the tour gets 10 out of 10, I wonโ€™t spoil the content of the tour but it was informative, interesting and beautiful the village and the backdrop is stunning. I would highly recommend and would go back on the star tours tour as I think that would be good! We need another excuse to go back to Leeds so we can visit the set again! Thank you Sasha for making our visit so memorable, taking our pictures and the conversation we shared walking back to the coaches, we hope to see you again!

We had the best time at the Emmerdale Village Tour. Our tour guide Sue was wonderful, really knowledgeable with some great insider info too! It was fascinating hearing about what all the houses are used for when not used as sets and it was so surreal to be stood in the village! It's a beautiful place, the tours aren't too crowded and we even witnessed a proposal in front of The Woolpack! We booked a Star Tour as well and it was so lovely to meet a cast member! We were lucky enough to meet Lisa Riley who plays Mandy Dingle so a true Emmerdale icon! We even met James Hooton who plays Sam Dingle at the pub beforehand which was an extra surprise and got the day off to a great start! Thank you all, a really fab day out!

What a great day out even if youโ€™re not a fan . The trip is well organised from start to finish and there is plenty of time on the tour to take photos . The information given on the tour is also very interesting and would be great to bust even if youโ€™re on your own because every one meets up first then is driven by coach to the village . If you slow at walking there is plenty of stops during the tour . But I would probably suggest getting in touch with them first if you need to use a mobility scooter because of the coach pick up and drop off. The tour was about 90 mins . A most see if your an emmerdale fan itโ€™s good .

Overall we had a great day the sun was shining the tour was very informative, our guide Clemmie was very knowledgeable. The down side for me was you weren't given enough time athe end of the tour just to browse around yourself it was like you were rushed around and out of the way ready for the next group of people. Then when you got back to the hop you hardly had any time to pick up your photos and then you were rushed back onto the bus, we didn't even have time to look around the gift shop, so I missed out on buying one of David's bags.

Visited on Sunday 12 th June. This tour is well organised from the minute you get to the New Inn car park. Also very impressed with the staff/ support crew, friendly and helpful. Our tour guide Rebecca was lovely, so full of knowledge, helpful and totally in charge. The village is just as you see on the TV. Some have internal sets, you can peak in. Plenty of time to take photos.A GREAT 90 MIN TOUR.Now looking forward to studio tour.

Anna was such a lovely tour guide. Super knowledgeable, even after some of the older generation rudely questioned her knowledge. Very friendly, funny and just the sweetest person ever! The group in front must have been a little slower than us, so we had to hang around for a little while, but it was okay, we had a little more time to explore then :) I didn't catch their names, but the super energetic gentleman who jumped on our bus to greet us, was so lovely and helpful, I spoke yo him a couple times in the giftshop/hop, and also the lovely lady (I think her name was pip?) In the gift shop was also super friendly, helpful and efficient. Just couldn't fault any of it in the slightest!

The tour guide was Katy, bubbly, knowledgeable young lady. Thankyou to her for making the tour great. I was amazed on how small the set is, but at least now when I see these actors coming out of those buildings I can say I have been there. Thankyou you also to our coach driver 1030am he was lovely too.

Brilliant tour. You get to see all the real life Village and houses! Some of the house have a set inside them which makes it more real! Everything feels much smaller in real life. The tour starts at the New Inn pub where you get your coach transfer (takes 5 minutes). When you get there you can explore the area at The Hop. The only downside to this was timings. We arrived at the pub at 4pm. We were booked for 4.30pm. We go on the 4.30pm coach. When we arrived at The Hop we had to wait for 25 minutes for the tour to begin. The tour then lasted for 1 hour and 40 minutes with tour guide Michelle. She was very knowledgeable and clearly knew her stuff! However the tour started too slow at the beginning with a monologue outside each household. This caused the group behind us who were supposed to be half an hour behind, to catch up with us! I appreciated all of her knowledge, however the tour could have been done in an hour with more exploration allowed. I started to switch off a bit by the end. As we thought we would be done by around 6 it then impacted our dinner plans. But as a one off opportunity to explore the village and to listen to everything Michelle knew about the soap I can't grumble too much! Thank you Michelle, and thank you Emmerdale for the opportunity to do this with 2 of Emmerdale's biggest fans! I would love to see it dressed for Christmas, which is unfortunate that the tours don't run out of Summer. All in a all a great day! Note to prospective Emmerdale explorers...allow more time than you think you will need. Also the pub stops serving food at 4.30pm on a Sunday. There is a campsite at the pub and entry of space to eat a picnic if needed.

Fantastic day from start to finish! Michelle our tour guide, was great! Really brought the tour to life referring to the characters and stories in the past, as well how the scenes are made. The Village is so realistic! My bestie has wanted to do this tour forever, and we finally made it happen. She was thrilled to meet Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) who was so lovely. Just look at her face! Beyond Happy! We really had the best day! Thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š

It was an early birthday present for the wife.... because us men don't watch soaps do we? Booked for great weather and we really enjoyed the whole experience. "Billy" was brilliant. I love Emmerdale and was really excited to be on the tour. It's everything you'd expect. There were a few locations missing (graveyard, allotment, Dingles' house, Home Farm, Eric's) and maybe this should be stated at the start to avoid disappointment. The tour guide was a bit condescending and sarcastic for my liking but, to be fair, I just wanted to see the Village. It's a nice walk down from The Hop. You see lots of houses, The Woolpack, David's Shop, the church and community hall. The new toilets, souvenir shop and cafe are good. Overall, really enjoyed it.

Very poor experience. Would give zero stars if it was an option. I bought this tour for my husbandโ€™s birthday. The funds were debited to my account but I realised the day before that I hadnโ€™t received tickets. Despite being listed as open during the hours that I tried to email, Facebook, messenger and tweet, not a single reply. As it is quite some distance I didnโ€™t risk driving there. Very disappointing especially as this was a birthday treat

No being a soap fan myself I booked the tour for my partners birthday. Whilst she absolutely loved it I had reservations on what I would think. Well ! I really did enjoy it, much to my surprise. The whole experience was well run. Our tour guide Sasha not only had so much knowledge of the programme but also plenty of information about the set and the filming. She interacted with our group throughout time their. Also a mention to the staff at the Ship Inn who had everything under control getting visitors on the coaches and away on time.

Downside is having to wait for a coach to take you there. Weather was poor, so the car park you have to park in gets boggy( yes, we got stuck) Toilets - bit of a let down having portable toilets, I like to sit in comfort when doing my business. Could do with some sort of proper cafe tho; like the Hide were you can sit in and chill to have a coffe. The tour was guided by Michelle ( lovely smile) she greeted us well and paced out the village tour nicely. Was also very knowledgeable. I would recommend visiting here in summer unless your hard-core and don't mind the cold.
