Fantastic walk, if you are up this way you should go to this lovely Forrest. You may come across wild stags, rabbits and squirrels too, great for family walks, evening strolls, horse riding the list goes on. It is a really good walk for dogs as they can have the run of the grassy areas and Forrest.

A small, but perfect forest park. Space and nature enough for all to explore without getting tired of it. And on the top, the views are incredible - you can see three national parks on clear days. An elemental place and an epicentre.

Beautiful walks around this park, incredible views from the top and so many different routes around it. Fantastic for dog walks and looks incredible snow, rain or sunshine. I have added photos of all seasons to give people a better idea.

Always a gorgeous walk no matter the weather. This morning it was drizzly and wet, but still a lovely walk among the moody trees. Users of the area respect the Chevin and pick up after their dogs and after themselves which is nice. We saw a deer family this morning which was lovely to see! It was a shame that the White House Cafe was shut; not sure if that was our bad timing with it being 9am on a Sunday or if it's a permanent thing, but I've liked that cafe.

This is West chevin, a really decent walk, takes about an hour to hour and a half, there are plenty of smaller footpaths to take if you want to go off the main path, plenty of wildlife to see, best time to see the wildlife would be early morning, as this is a popular walk, There is a cafe serving takeaways only, coffees are quite good.

Easy parking although spaces were limited at the one we used but only a few yards away from the forest walk. Beautiful surroundings and lots of paths leading from the public bridleway. Was very muddy after a few weeks of rain so didn't explore. Good place to take a dog. Looking forward to visiting in better weather. Some lovely sculptures through the nature reserve

Fantastic place for a walk, bike, run or horse ride. Looks like there’s wild campers as well. There’s a couple of car parks at the main entrance to the chevin, they can get busy but you can usually find somewhere. There’s other entrances with some road side parking available as well. There’s various totes you can take to make it less or more challenging and make a walk anything from 10 mins to 2 hours. All paths have great scenery and some have some wonderful views overlooking Otley. It’s usually fairly busy with people and dogs but plenty of space so not crowded. Also there are horses being rode up there often so one to be aware of depending how your dog is.

Be aware, there are some steep steps and paths in places. Wear some sturdy footwear. The Whitehouse Cafe is permanently closed and apparently has been for about three years. Otherwise it's a lovely walk and dog friendly.

Lots of nice paths, great views, some occasional steep paths/steps to climb back up, if you choose that route. Often an ice cream van in the free car park.

Excellent open woodland/moor land area with beautiful walks and views for all ages and plenty of dog walkers. Also seems like a brilliant location for mountain biking/downhill but not sure of the legalities of biking there. The chevin forest park contains Alot of wildlife to Inc regular sightings of a barn owl on flight at dusk and also rare lapwings have been sighted this year.

May 2022. Superb place for views, although a bit of a trek to climb up and over the forest hill to the east side of Chevin forest. Had a fantastic time. Walked from here to Bramhope (about 7 miles). Not suitable for wheelchair access on some parts due to steepness. Half way up the hill came across a white house. Rested here for a bit to catch my breath before trudging off again!

What a lovely place to come and visit. Found the place by accident while looking for a different organisation. There is some limited parking but when you explore the rest of the park, natural beauty at its best in my opinion. I would highly recommend everyone to come and visit as well support as much as they can do

Great walks up here. Lots of different trails and types of works on the tops, through the woods. Really good for taking your dog off and on lead. Parking can get busy on the weekend.
