I
stayed
at
the
Clayton
Hotel
in
Leeds
for
two
nights
in
October,
for
which
we
paid
approximately
£400-£500.
The
primary
reason
for
choosing
this
hotel
was
its
location.
Upon
arrival
in
the
evening,
we
decided
to
have
dinner
and
drinks
at
the
hotel's
restaurant,
as
was
tired
from
the
long
drive
and
wanted
and
early
night
but
I
must
say
it
turned
out
to
be
a
delightful
experience.
The
food
was
delicious,
and
the
ambiance
was
pleasant.
One
of
the
highlights
of
our
stay
was
the
breakfast
buffet,
which
was
truly
impressive.
It
was
a
grand
affair
with
an
abundance
of
options
to
suit
every
taste.
The
seating
area
was
vast
and
accommodating,
providing
ample
space
for
guests
to
enjoy
their
meals
comfortably.
I
was
particularly
pleased
to
see
that
the
hotel
catered
to
gluten
allergies.
They
also
had
a
delightful
selection
of
fruit
juices,
flavoured
water,
and
a
wide
range
of
hot
beverages
to
choose
from.
It
was
truly
a
breakfast
extravaganza!
Additionally,
the
hotel
boasts
a
lovely
library
for
those
who
appreciate
a
good
read.
As
a
book
lover
myself,
I
was
thrilled
to
discover
this
cozy
space
filled
with
books,
providing
a
peaceful
retreat
where
I
could
relax
and
indulge
in
some
literary
escapism.
It
was
a
delightful
addition
to
the
hotel's
amenities
and
added
a
touch
of
charm
to
the
overall
experience.
In
terms
of
the
room,
I
found
the
beds
to
be
incredibly
comfortable.
The
blackout
curtains
ensured
that
the
room
stayed
dark,
contributing
to
an
amazing
sleep
experience.
As
someone
who
values
a
good
night's
rest,
I
was
truly
appreciative
of
the
quality
of
sleep
I
was
able
to
enjoy
during
my
stay.
I
really
needed
that!
It's
important
to
note
that
parking
at
the
Clayton
Hotel
is
not
complimentary.
Guests
are
required
to
obtain
a
parking
ticket
from
the
machine
located
at
the
reception
and
pay
upon
departure.
While
this
aspect
could
be
improved,
as
I
believe
parking
should
ideally
be
provided
free
of
charge
for
hotel
guests,
it's
something
to
keep
in
mind
when
considering
your
stay.
However,
I
must
mention
that
I
found
the
hotel's
gym
to
be
somewhat
dated.
The
equipment
seemed
a
bit
worn,
and
the
overall
atmosphere
didn't
inspire
me
to
engage
in
a
workout
session.
This
could
be
an
area
for
improvement,
as
a
well-maintained
and
modern
gym
would
greatly
enhance
the
hotel's
appeal
to
fitness-conscious
guests
like
me.
Lastly,
I
found
the
reception
staff
to
be
a
bit
inattentive,
which
was
a
disappointment.
