Beautiful room. Immaculately clean. Excellent location. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful. The food was delicious here we had both room service and breakfast next day. Would definitely stay here again.

Always a favourite hotel of ours, great view and rooms were to a high standard. Visited prior to Christmas, and there were mince pies on reception to help yourselves to they were delicious. Took the boys, and they had the main room of the suite, so it was great to have two rooms to relax in. The bathroom is very spacious too. Eco option of opting to skip housekeeping and then getting a bottle of wine was a cute option.

Amazing. We arrived at the hotel exactly one minute past check in time. The app didn't work so I went to the check in desk. They had upgraded our room for free to the top floor suite. (We definitely hadn't paid for this). It was amazing. The room was huge and boasted a toilet room and a bathroom with shower and bath. It had two AC machines and plenty of seating options. I can't thank the hotel enough. We would definitely visit again. The only thing we would recommend to the hotel is that they upgrade the TV and phone handset. The TV was slow so we didn't use it and the phone looked that old it was out of place. Other than that the room was very modern and had everything we needed. We would definitely visit again.

Only stayed the one night, but its location is ideal and perfect for a night out in Leeds. Rooms are big enough and clean. Breakfast was really good value, great selection of choices.

Amazing stay! Reception welcoming and attentive, room was nicely designed and very clean. We were lucky to get a room at the top floor and the view from the windows was breathtaking. No doubt the best hotel experience!

Great location and has a gym which is a bonus. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly but the rooms are quite outdated. The beds are not particularly comfy either but it’s good for a short stay

Great location next to the station but this also means outside is a little on the noisy side with traffic and people (and as of Jan 2023, road construction but that doesn't bother us at all). The rooms and especially the bathroom could do with a deep clean, but clean enough. Would go back here again. Gym is small but a nice addition and is a bonus!

The staff really made my stay excellent especially Nick on the bar who went above and beyond to help me out. The morning breakfast staff were very welcoming despite the very early hour - thank you Jo and Stravroula! The bed and bath were very relaxing and of course the location is perfect.

To celebrate our Wedding Anniversary we stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone. Upon arrival we received a complimentary room upgrade and then in the room was Prosecco and strawberries waiting for us and a lovely note wishing us a happy anniversary. Staff were so helpful and friendly at all times. Breakfast was lovely with free Mimosas for our anniversary. Advise going down early as it was starting to get busy as we left. Wide choice from full English, Continental, cereals and toast and you can go up as often as you like 👍 I did like the extras you can add once you had booked like checking in early/late, car parking, Breakfast etc. It lets you pick and choose and maybe do things you wouldn't normally think of. Room was lovely and clean like no one else had stayed there before. Being able to cast from your phone to the TV was a added bonus and easy to do. Great views from the 20th floor but trying to get all the way down without stopping at check out was not possible 🤣

Firstly the attitude of the staff on the desk left alot to be desired (especially as the desk was empty at the time). The room, although a good size, had not been cleaned to a good standard (dirty tissues from a previous guest still on the floor) and the overall standard was poor, wallpaper coming away from walls and fittings all seeming worn. Did not feel welcome. Have stayed in budget hotels and felt more appreciated and received a better standard of room. Had stayed here years ago, which is why I chose to return, but it has gone downhill sadly. Shame

The hotel is extremely dirty, the staff and specifically those in the concierge was bad and impolite. I’ve been to all hotels around the world and never have I ever heard of rules that didn’t allow me to get my friends into my room due to the capacity. We let them know we wanted to chill, but they repeatedly fought back in a dirty tone of matter that no visitors are allowed after 12, which is so stupid. Forcing us to leave the hotel and the concierge telling us to go for another one is very rude. For the price it’s such a scam. Literally every other hotel other than this hotel is way better, service, quality and aesthetic wise. This is an expensive and a cheap hotel.

Stayed here for 5 days, Mon to Fri and I’ve had fairly relaxing time. The check-in was simple and easy, couldn’t quite hear the receptionist but instead of room service I got a £10 off food voucher to use in the hotels restaurant but didn’t use it as I went out a lot. Upon entering the room, the view out the window was very nice and beautiful site of Leeds. I’ve given it a 3/5 stars mainly because of the bed, it’s far too firm and not very comfy. The pillows are rock hard and I had to resort placing my fluffy dressing gown around the pillows for a comfy sleep, they had no support in them at all. For a 4* plus hotel, you would expect comfier beds, long cozy blankets/throws and soft memory foam mattresses and pillows but no. Breakfast however was delicious every morning, although deep frying has browns and keeping them warm in the bainmarie is not a good idea, as they make them soft and chewy and not crispy and crunchy as they should be. The lovely coloured gentlemen walking around the restaurant offering tea and coffee was always a lovely person to be around, talk too and ask questions. Top marks for you sir!! The toaster wasn’t perfect, you get the proper toasted bread you would need to put the bread in twice for the perfect toast. Overall it was a nice experience but I’d rather stay in a premier inn for a comfier bed.

Handy for business meetings as right opposite the train station. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and attentive with great ideas on where to eat. Rooms very clean & comfortable. Ideal location as the shops are right next door as well

This was a last minute decision booking, and were really glad we chose here. This hotel is great! The view alone was outstanding, right in the heart of the hustle and bustle but so quiet, you wouldn't even know it. The room was spacious and airy, it was perfect. Very clean and comfortable and with great amenities. You get a coffee machine and a kettle. The bathroom is also brilliantly equipped with shower gel and shampoo, plus shower cap! Something that is missing from many bathrooms these days. We didn't eat here, but they have a bar and restaurant. They also do 24 hour room service. We plan to come back though and spend the weekend, so we'll definitely try the food then. Staff were amazing too, very friendly.

Staff were all friendly and helpful! Amazing location right by the train station. Big room but looked quite old and worn. Bathroom was lovely and must have been redone recently. Breakfast had a good selection!

Lovely hotel situated across the road from Leeds Train Station. Bed was comfortable, an overhead fixed, and separate hand held shower, and bath available, plus good wardrobe space with hangers. There was a mini fridge in the room, which was ideal to store my Soya / Oat milk, which I was able to request from room service for my duration of my stay. Great range of 'self serve' hot, cold and continental options available at breakfast time, and an endless supply of hot tea or coffee, served by very friendly staff. Recommended!

The breakfast I’ve experienced today exceeded all my expectations and I am very impressed with the hard working staff. At first, I was greeted by Sandra and she had a very lovely, positive attitude when welcoming my friend and I to the breakfast. She explained how the buffet works, which was very helpful as I knew where to go. Josephine had such a positive vibe, always smiling and answered all our questions with ease and experience. Josephine even had a conversation with us, which created this safe environment. Stav was amazing, as she kept coming to check up on us and asking if everything is okay. She was very open and kind, which made me comfortable to ask for anything. Overall I am very satisfied about my experience at park plaza; furthermore the food was very good, hot and fresh and there was a lot of options to pick from.

On arrival at the hotel, everything looked fantastic, a really nice location and a very welcoming and friendly reception team, our disappointment kicked in as soon as we got to our room. The back of our room door had chips and scratches all over the base which looked tatty and in bad condition, the bed was comfortable but the mattress was not the standard of a 4 star hotel, our shower didn't work as it should have done, the toilet had a drainage problem as it really smelled for very long periods after use and made lots of weird noises, and the room just didn't look very well looked after. Our room description said we'd have a city view, which we didn't see anything of and we hugely regretted the £73 we paid when we could have gone to the Queens or Jury's Inn. Happy to discuss this with a member of the team if wish to contact me.

Nicely located for town centre shopping. No parking, so local parks need to be used. Room was nice and clean and quiet at night. Could hear people getting up, showering and doors banging shut from around 7.30am. Found the bed very uncomfortable personally. Breakfast was really nice and lots of choice. Would still stay again despite bed!

We stayed in room 2008 on the 20th floor. There are lifts and they are operated by your key card. Check in was quick and efficient. The room itself is dated and not 4 star. I would say it's not work £88 which we paid for a Thursday night stay. Lovely, large room with a stunning view of the city. Great layout of bathroom. There's access to a fridge and iron. However, there was an iron mark on the carpet, scratches on walls, bed was squeaky, could not release water from bath tub due to no chain on plug and residue in toilet. The worst part was listening to the lift move all night. I am a light sleeper and this very much spoilt my experience. However, one aspect of service which was exceptional was breakfast. All waiters were very helpful and kind explaining breakfast. Nick made us feel at home and it was lovely to hear about his home country, Greece as it's a favourite destination. Breakfast was perfect. Can't fault it! Validation of my car parking ticket for 24 hours cost £15 which you pay at front of house.

Couple of weeks ago, we arrived at the hotel at 3 am after a 16 hour trip and found 2 receptionists that were enable to find our already payed reservation. We had to wait for 1 hour while the 2 stooges scratched their heads and look at the computer like it was something that just landed from Mars and at the end we had to pay again for the rooms. The following day someone, with higher skills in using a basic computer, finally found our initial payed reservation and some days later the money was returned. Breakfast was average with service being excellent at the restaurant.

I'm not one to complain but I must admit the quality and standards at this hotel is shocking! Cleanliness is non existing and a cause for concern, almost a health issue if you suffer from any underlying health issues. The furniture and everything in the hotel is worn out! Floors haven't been cleaned in ages, dust everywhere, and print marks can be seen on surfaces showing the surface hasn't been cleaned! I had to be moved twice because the quality of rooms were shocking. I feel the hotel staff didn't understand the seriousness of what was being mentioned. If you have rooms that are not up to standard and not being cleaned don't offer it to the public? What annoys me is the front desk assured me the room would be good why was an inspection not done before giving me the room? I have attached pictures of my stay as people need to be made aware of this! SIMPLY SHOCKING, AVOID!

Reception staff were really helpful, room was very clean and tidy, great views over the city. Nick in the bar was amazing. He was so caring and made my experience of the Park Plaza perfect. We'll done to everyone at Park Plaza an exceptional experience.

I have been lucky to stay in quite a few hotels and this is one of the best so far. Friendly staff on the desk and at breakfast. Had room 1802 which was quiet and very comfortable. ( Needs a little bit of TLC to spruce it up ) Breakfast was nice , good to have cooked food hot and the staff were helpful. Could of done with more cold meats but had enough to eat anyway. Very close to the station and shops, would stay here again.

Staff were lovely, especially at breakfast. Room was nice and spacious with the best view I've ever had in Leeds. Great location. Only criticism is that the lifts were very slow so you had to be patient going up and down to the room.

The only reason this place gets two stars instead of one is because I paid the reduced rate -£65 instead of £89. It’s definitely overpriced at £89 and the 4-star official rating unrealistic. On the plus side, the rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. On the minus, it’s probably years since they last cleaned any glass surfaces, the luggage rack was covered in dust, one of the overhead lights didn’t work and the walls are so thin that when the couple next door decided to have a blazing row at 2 am I heard every word. Glad I only stayed one night!

Good location as it is only a few minutes walk from the train station and town centre, can check out remotely plus check out is at 12pm which is a plus if you like to sleep in. Room is a good size with a comfy bed and good sized bathroom. Iron etc provided. Ordered room service which took an hour but they have a wide ranging menu at a reasonable price

Upon arrival staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Food was hot and fresh. Waitress Adriana was very helpful. She even gave us directions for all the shops. Room was clean and a good size with plenty of storage.

Stayed here while on business for one night. Staff were polite and friendly the rooms were modern but a little tired looking. Everything was clean and in order which is the main thing. WiFi is free and open so no faffing about. The ethernet port in my room didn't work although I didn't ask in case they needed to activate it. The bed was super comfortable and big. Bathroom was clean with good hot water and pressure. Not a lot I can complain about in the room. Lost a star for breakfast although I'm sure it's just the constraints of covid, but it was like no one really new what they offered. There was no menu but it was table service. We were explained to that they have all the ingredients of a full English and could therefore order variations of this. I asked for a bacon sandwich to which I was met with confusion as to whether they could do it. My colleague asked for scrambled egg on toast to which he was told we can do scrambled egg but you will need to get toast from the buffet. All just a little odd. So anyway would I stay again? Absolutely, nothing put me off ☺️

Nice, affordable, comfy, AC was a bit warm, friendly front desk receptionist. Could have been a perfect stay if it wasn’t for that little technical issue with room service. Waited an hour for our breakfast only to find out that it hasn’t been placed and ordering online isn’t available at that time.

On line check in and room key app skips the queues at reception. First class room with great view across the city. Sleep quality was great as was breakfast. Lifts can take a while to come only negative.

Absolutely atrocious service and incredibly rude and unhelpful staff. On initial arrival, the receptionist was pleasant, polite and helpful, that's where it ends. On our return to the hotel at 23.10, I asked reception if the bar was still open, no, he replied, you will have to engage room service. After unsuccessfully trying to scan and connect with the QR code, I decided to look on the TV for the drinks menu. Hmmm, no wine on there. So I then called 4006 (room service) which kept getting cut off. By this time I decide to go to the bar and order some drinks for the room. 30 minutes later, I was served by a young man who quite clearly had had around 20 minutes training to be a customer facing member of staff in this poor excuse of a hotel. I went to reception to ask to speak with the duty manager. The member of staff behind reception advised me that he was the duty manager.... This guy couldn't manage a cold. Outrageously poor customer service. Poorly trained, rude, ignorant front of house staff and a complete farce of an operation. My partner booked us in here for its proximity to the rail station and First Direct Arena, which we visited to see a gig for my birthday. Never, ever again. Avoid at all costs

Terrible experience. I was given door card to an already occupied room. I had to wait 45 minutes for a meal receipt. The lifts caused long waits for all guests. Bedding although they appeared clean, smelt really bad. At breakfast I was told I would have to pay extra. However my room included breakfast. I was over charged for parking by £27, which meant I had to drive back to the hotel to ask for a refund. Staff not bothered when I tried to complain. Altogether probably the worst hotel stay I've ever had.
