Absolutely love the Brudenell. It's one of my all time favourite venues and it's still going strong. It has two separate rooms, a lounge area and a games room with pool & snooker tables. All of the rooms have their own bar A decent selection of ales on offer. Food available is limited to Pieminster pies but they're a decent portion and not too expensive. The Brudenell is a great independent music venue and well worth a visit.

I love this venue. Its so old school that it's cool. My second visit here - first time was in 2013. I came to see Tangerine Dream and it was a fantastic gig. Highly recommended. Do visit for the pies and drinks, if not for the music.

Our absolute favourite local venue. Have visited many times. Great drinks selection served by wonderful staff and the pies are worth the visit on their own. The best music venue around. Our latest experience was endorphinmachine, Prince tribute, the best in the country, fantastic musicians, brilliant show.

Simply one of the best music venues I've had the pleasure of being in. It's been on my list for years and a few gigs were postponed by Covid, but it was everything I'd hoped it would be. Great, intimate venue and stage. Good beers, friendly security, and lovely acoustics. Standing at the front, 5 feet from the band, everyone there for the music, it felt like a bit of hope about the scene and music venues remains. What a place, I can't wait to go back.

Brudenell is one of those rare venues that don't follow the trends, but book new and exciting musicians that never fail to impress. I have never turned up and been disappointed with the artists, and the sound is always just right, not just turned up loud. Over the years I have been maybe 10 times and I always leave with a new song or artist that I will play non stop, Whoever books the acts is a legend. If I lived closer I would be there every gig. Service at the bar is excellent, during intermission extra employees come so your not waiting ages, and they have a wide selection of drinks. Toilets are kept at a good standard and disabled facilities are adequate. Three steps down to the main seating area but there are plenty of space for wheelchairs around the perimeter.

Love the Brudenell. One of the great English rock venues steeped in history. Probably holds around 500 max in the main room with 2 different rooms I think. I've only seen bands in the larger room which has a lower area to the front of the stage so it's usually easy to get a good view. Plenty of different beers on tap at reasonable prices. Huge outdoor area too for cooling down. We need to support these smaller gig venues to ensure their survival. It's a great place. Photos are from recent gigs for Dare and Smith/Kotzen, the collab between Adrian Smith and Richie Kotzen.

A fantastic place to go out for a drink with friends. They have an amazing venue and my friend came here many times when they had an event here. The gaming area where they have a polling table is a lot of fun. Amazing drinks with good prices. Interesting vibe and decor. Friendly fab staff. Even tho it is not for a show, it is such a cheerful lovely place and we always enjoyed our time there!

The best live music venue in the world. A great view from anywhere in the room, a reasonably priced bar, great staff. Tempted to give it 1 star so you all stay away and I keep it for myself!

Leeds premier music venue. You must give it a try. Lost nights abound. This one was the end of tour gig for the Howl and the Hum, who were outstanding, as ever. Sam has a riveting voice and his lyrics describe those melancholy scenes from life in a way few before have managed. Recommended.

A great gig as usual, the headliners Michael Head and the Red Elastic band were awesome and the warm up band were amazing.

Great little venue. Took the kids to see Andrew Cushing last night as they're just now old enough and it was fantastic. Nice atmosphere, decent price beer, easy(ish) free parking near by. Will be returning soon.

Toilets were a wreck but when the music is as good as it was on our visit, you dont tend to give a s**t. Very intimate venue! Spot on for any music lover

Our first time at this venue and it most definitely won't be our last! An intermit feel, the sound/acoustics of the room were excellent. An abundance of craft ale, snacks and food. The staff were all polite and friendly and getting served even at very busy times was no issue. A very popular place, if you love live music and haven't been, I highly recommend checking it out, you won't be disappointed.

Small intimate venue with superb acoustics. Parking isn't the best but security and bar teams were excellent and friendly. Rianne Downey was absolutely fantastic

Was my first visit here to see Flock of seagulls. It's much smaller than I imagined but nothing wrong with that, the sound quality was excellent. Room has a shallow but wide standing area, some seats around the back walls, with a large bar down one side and another bar in a separate lounge area. Plenty of seating outside too.

Despite Leeds' relevant under-performance in the national music scene, the Brudenell Social Club goes a long way in making up for it by being one of the best venues around. Intimate is a common descriptor, and intimate it is with two rooms capable of hosting around 400 each. The first, and oldest, still looks and feels like a social club, just one that happens to have hosted some of Britain's liveliest bands. The second room was built with music in mind - impressive acoustics with a cramped and lively atmosphere that can easily dissipate into the bar or out front into the smoking area.

Excellent value for money on the beer, good food and friendly staff Top notch music venue as well, I would happily recommend the Brudenell 👍

Excellent music venue in Leeds. The auditorium is tiered so wherever you stand you have a decent view. The acoustics were very good and the sound was crisp and clear. Reasonably priced drinks. Large outside seating area.

Came here for the Municipal Waste gig which was great! No safety barriers and lots of stage diving. The venue has a raised tier at the back so good views all round and cheap beer. The only thing to bear in mind is it's a long way from the train station so you'll need to factor on taxis if you travel by train (we used a local company who were cheap)

Brilliant venue, our 1st visit was to see Apollo Junction and the Mercians, great set up, nice interior for a live music venue, good choice of drinks
