A great walk for everyone with varying levels of terrain for everyone to get out and about. There are plenty of benches to rest at should you venture too far. Great views all-round. There are 3 car parks available. The main car park can get a little busy, so be prepared for that.

Lovely place for a walk, dogs welcome, and an ice cream van at the top. Lots of trails around the hill with gorgeous views, forest walks with trails taking you down into the town of Otley.

Itโ€™s a little sparse in places. The path seems unnecessarily wide. Iโ€™m a dog walker and disappointed to see so many poo bags left on the ground. Who are you expecting to pick them up? Come on guys take this home or bin it.

We celebrated my 80th birthday here. We had a great time - staff were wonderful. The site and area are breathtaking. We would go back anytime.

Choice of two free car parks, both hard standing but no amenities, car parks do close overnight. Plenty of walking paths, great views across the valleys and also of Leeds/Bradford airport Lovely park especially for dog walks and for families

Beautiful park. Lots of walking trails. Too many dogs, all off their leads. Lots of parking in different places but not easy to get to on public transport. Gorgeous views! Beautiful bluebells. Well taken care of but a few poo bags dotted around. Some picnic tables randomly around and a few under the tree near Lower Shawfield Car Park. No restrooms!!!

Wonderful walking routes, dogs can be off lead, not too strenuous and completed a great, scenic 4 mile(ish) walk...

I went there to see the sunset. Unfortunately missed it, but will surely be going there again soon. Peaceful cliff with beautiful lights and you can see various cities from the from here for example Skipton, York, Otley, Harrogate. A must go place for people nearby Leeds.

Otley Chevin is a vast place to explore, a shame a busy road does go through part of it! But that aside, itโ€™s a little bit like a maze to explore. The views from the top are amazing! See for miles and miles, and a nice place to sit and just take a moment. Free parking too, which was an added bonus. Walk paths are signed but only too places not really routes, so it is an explore mission

Lovely place for a walk ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸฆŒ so many different routes and perfect for dogs. Lots of dogs off lead though so donโ€™t take your dog if theyโ€™re not good with others and parking is a nightmare on a weekend! Other than that, itโ€™s lovely

Lovely woodland with plenty of accessable footpaths & parking, plenty of little hidden trails to explore too. Covers a large area, so even on a busy weekend you might not see anyone for ages. Lots of birds and bugs - a perfect spot for peace and solitude. Some great views across the area too.

Brilliant place for family walks. Forest foraging and den making, amazing views, a few rocks to climb/ take in the views from and plenty of mud for little/large wellies to trudge through.

First time walking around the Chevin Forest Park, we went for Mother's day as we had fish and chips afterwards, the walk was just about right as we took our Bulldog Ronnie with us and he loved it, would definitely drive back for another walk.

I love this place. There are so many different routes to take. You can be gone from 15 minutes to a couple of hours. This is the one place I feel comfortable letting the dog truly wander free. It feels isolated even though it isnโ€™t. A great place for kids to go and explore in the woods and build shelters. Truly a brilliant place. I rate here (Danefield, as a local) over the Chevin any day.

Bonny spot. Careful on the ice in the carpark in winter. Lots of paths to get lost on. Good view spot if it's clear. Amazing cafe over the road from the car park called Mistal, definitely recommend

Grand walking area through woodlands. Peaceful and with spectacular views. There is a visitors centre with cafรฉ and loos at the White House but it was contradictorily closed on the Friday I visited, so don't trust their opening hours! The fabulous stone maze just along from the visitors centre is worth a visit. Constructed by the Dry Stone Walling Association, it is made from recycled sandstone. Recommended walking for those who like to be in nature and appreciate panoramic vistas.
