Lovely food and great atmosphere. Staff were very friendly throughout. The food came very quickly, perhaps more quickly than I’ve ever received food before. Quality and quantity was good would recommend.

In my opinion, I feel the taste of the food was made perfect with the combination of the friendly welcoming warmth of all the staff in the way we were treated with respect, even the smiles radiated through the face mask, staff making jokes and holding conversations with everyone that came in, it was such a lovely experience in a well set-up relaxed atmosphere. I will be back, soon.

Lovely interior, booths all around, big tables located in the center. Nice atmosphere, tasty food and lovely deserts. Green pepper and black bean chicken is the winner, hot and sour soup - 5 star. Good desserts: coconut icecreams in the shell and caramel banana with choc icecreams - just wow! Staff very nice and kind. Card payment available. Lot of space in the parking.

We have been visiting sweet basil valley for many years, food and service has never disappointed us. There was a slight price increase but definitely worth it, their portions are HUGE! Always end up taking lots of food home for tomorrows lunch! When we finished our meal, they brought out a mini dessert and sung happy birthday to my little boy, what a beautiful way to finish our evening out. Yummy food, fabulous service, beautiful atmosphere, what else can you ask for! We will be back very soon!

As always excellent 👌 One of if not the best Chinese/Thai restaurant in West Yorkshire warm and welcoming staff. Portions are great, Food is very enjoyable and if you can't manage it all the staff will happily prepare it to takeaway and enjoy again later. Pictured are Crispy Wonton and Crab claw with mashed prawn starter. Mains are sweet and sour chicken and spring onion and ginger sizzling filet steak.

Got to be up there as one of the best in Leeds. If not the best! Yes it’s a little pricey but you’re paying for the service and the top notch food. Couldn’t fault any dish. Fillet steak in garlic and chilli was unreal.

With Sweet Basil Valley being just round the corner, we collect from them probably far too often than is good for us. The flavour is just insane, every time we get it the food is consistently good and is as fresh as when they serve it in the restaurant. The staff are super friendly and usually collection is ready within 10-15 mins! My favourite takeaway!

Quite expensive and for me personally nothing special. Approx £40 for 1 starter, 2 mains, curry sauce, 1 egg fried rice and prawn crackers. The fried rice was overdone and quite mushy rather than just sticky, I opted not to eat this. The Singapore Vermicelli noodles were also quite overdone as they had broken up into smaller pieces as they were also quite mushy, the meat content was good but could have been more curried (but that's just my liking). The wontons were good as was the curry sauce and prawn crackers.

First time there tonight. Staff were great with our 4 year old, made a lovely fuss of her which she loved. Food really good too. We went early doors, the tables are well spaced so you have privacy and don't feel as though you are sharing a table with the people next to you

My friend spoke highly of this place and took me there during my visit in Leeds... And I'm glad he did! From the moment you walk in you feel welcome and you get the sense that you are about to be looked after...The service was very attentive throughout the evening. The food was absolutely magnificent... Every single dish. To my surprise (in a place like this) I had one of the best Malbec wines ever. Well furnished and clean environment. It is obvious that the owner has paid a lot of attention to the overall detail... Which explains a full restaurant on a Wednesday night. I visited again after 5 years approximately and my experience was as great as before. Congratulations - Keep up the great job you are doing!

Friendly welcoming staff and delicious fresh food. The restaurant has a lovely ambience and is very clean. The car park is great and well laid out. We will certainly be back.

Having read the reviews on the Sweet Basil site I fail to understand what’s been said. My daughters ordered 4 takeaway meals Saturday evening to celebrate my 78th Birthday and was expecting some delicious food from the reviews….What a disappointment. I ordered the Special Fried Rice with Chicken, Prawns and Pork (61) on the menu. This was the driest tasteless meal meal I have had at a cost of over £13, my daughter’s having the same experience also with their orders. The No.61 had two small pieces of Chicken chopped-up Pork so small you had to search for it and two Prawns all tasteless mixed in with the dry rice. I do not know what the whole bill was as they would not say but defiantly NOT worth the price.

been here before so new food was nice and seating nice. firstly was sat next to kitchen and asked to move to an exact same size empty table but was told it was booked. didn't see the problem as it was same size table and we was first and the table was empty. we ordered salt and pepper squid which was greasy and squidgy. I was served sweet and sour which was so sweet i couldn't finish the dish. the balance was so off. it should be even with sour. but it just tasted like a bowl of sugar. too sweet. I've eaten sweet and sour loads and it just wasn't right. prices are expensive for sitting next to kitchen, we had no trees over hanging our table. just kitchen staring us in face. the table should be make in to a waiting area as its too close to kitchen. it gives no resturaunt feel does that table. everyone else sat with the lovely blossom tree overhanging while the corner table by the kitchen is cold and faces countless staff coming in and out. and you see food prep going on also. not professional at all

Loved it. My first time here and the service was excellent and attentive food was delicious and in a lovely setting. Highly recommend

Excellent restaurant with really nice decor and very well heated spaces. The food is excellent with generous portions and the service has got to be one if not the fastest I've ever experienced. I highly recommend Prawn Toast, Soft Noodles, Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken & Beef in Blackbean Sauce, Chicken Curry.... I do not recommend the Stew Beef Brisket off the Chef's Special Pot section, the taste is excellent however the beef itself in my opinion isn't stewed enough and was fatty and a little tough. I am looking forward to my next visit where I will be trying the Chicken Kung Po... Can't wait 🙃

It is a nice Asian restaurant in Rawdon. The staff are extra nice if I may say! The table setting/setup needs more improvement, no table cloth, no napkins offered until asked for. The food is so delicious and the quantities are good. They offer Chinese and Thai food. Children friendly. I would recommend if craving Chinese in the area.
