😠 Really poor booking system to book an appointment with the doctors both on telephone and via the on line system. 10 minute window only in the morning to book online or alternatively ring for more than 50 times to book an appointment and if you are lucky you might get an appointment. Thanks for makin... People often mention appointment, staff, doctors, practice, time, friendly, lovely, online, doctor, care,

Really poor booking system to book an appointment with the doctors both on telephone and via the on line system. 10 minute window only in the morning to book online or alternatively ring for more than 50 times to book an appointment and if you are lucky you might get an appointment. Thanks for making me feel worse than I already do.

Reception staff and doctors are extremely helpful and friendly. Never had a problem with being able to book a same day appointment, and reception staff seem happy to help. The doctors and nurses I have seen have been lovely, and very thorough! They are obviously very busy and are trying their best, during especially difficult times!

10 minute waiting time, rude call centre member of staff treated me as an inconvenience. Only info he could give me was the next available appointment (2 days time) or to ring at 8 tomoro when daily appointments can become available. When I asked him to repeat he sighed and sarcastically repeated himself. No point having a call centre then is there? Just have a booking form online, its the exact same thing without the waiting time and the sarcasm.

I have put off ailments because it is far too difficult to get an appointment to talk or see a doctor. You get cut off after waiting for an answer, you cannot use the app, and trying to get through on a morning at 8am is strenuous to say the least. They have told me I need an appointment for repeats but I know I won’t be able to get one, so I will have to do without. Such a pity. It was a very good practice once.

This is your standard doctors. No bad experiences here. They are reliable, all of the doctors have been lovely (I especially like the female doctors who have made me feel safe and listened to) and the reception staff are always nice. Booking appointments online for the next week is a really simple process and they reply very quickly with the appropriate response. They are usually busy and hard to get through to in the mornings but that's just the state of the UK NHS right now. For all non emergencies, booking online is the easy and sensible thing to do.

Always had lovely experiences here. I feel like GP receptionists in general get a bad rep online but that’s never been my experience here. They’re all lovely and attentive to your needs. The doctors and nurses are all lovely and compassionate too. Great practice.

I don’t think the NHS gets praised very much but I must say the quality of care that I have had here has been excellent. Called midweek and they arranged an appointment with a GP on the weekend. Always able to get through to reception staff with little wait on hold. Needed some bloods taken and they fitted me on the same day! Thank you for this!

Dear Burley Park Medical Centre, Firstly, can I just say thank you to you all. You have and continue to, provide an excellent and patient centred care. This is despite the most challenging times that NHS services have faced. Secondly, I would like to say a massive thank you to these staff in particular, as they have really took the time to deal with anything I have rung up for. These are; Debbie, Mandy and Bayleigh who are the most helpful, patient centered admin staff I have ever spoken with! They are a credit to the surgery and the NHS. Dr Lough and Lynne White have been absolutely amazing clinicians and I have felt put at ease and have had felt listened too and helped and treatment plans put in place. Again, they are both an absolute credit to their profession and the NHS. Thank you, team Burley Park Medical Centre for all your help and support, you have been amazing (I don’t even mind listening to Dr Lawton’s wonderful greeting haha) Thank you again Best wishes Steven Webb

Both staff and receptionist are very professional and catered to my needs in an appropriate manner. I always got to see the GP when it's necessary. I'm really sad that I have moved from that area but I hope my next GP surgery is just as great as Burley park medical center. 😀

Never been to an out if hours appointment organised by my own GP, but it run smoothly, and we were seen a bit later than our appt but was ok,the reason being is that the GP gas to log into our GPs server to get to our notes, so experience was quite good, would do again if situation arose again.

Have always had really great experiences with the doctors, nurses and midwives here. Dr Lawton has been especially caring and thoughtful in his care towards my baby daughter, taking the time to listen and explain things. It isn’t easy to get through on the phones in the morning, but I’m not sure what more the staff can do when it’s obviously a very busy surgery.

I was with this GP for four years since 2018. The reception always friendly and patience, doing things attentively. I would like to say brilliant thanks to the a female Dr here(sorry I forgot your name) refer me to St James straight away after you suspect that I got cancer. I went through treatments, but along the side this GP always gave me the support that I needed, thank you so much, you guys are excellent, deserve for ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Due to moving to another city, sadly I have to say good bye to BPMC. All the best and good luck to the team. I believe what you are doing really a blessing to the community.

I came in with the worst ear infection that I have had since the last 6 months. I was admittedly very worried and emotional. Dr. Neil Lawton had a look at my ear and instantly told me the issue. This was the same as the senior ENT I went to see. He's a brilliant doctor and was very empathetic. He made sure I got seen by an expert. He took his own swabs to make sure when he didn't have to and sent a note telling me what it was. I'm eternally grateful that he treated me.

Never had a problem apart from the Two times in a year when I asked for a repeat TWO days early as I'd washed some meds by accident (travel around a lot) and my consultation notes said 'Drug addict' Found it more comical than offensive to be honest

Everytime I visit here I always have the best service experience I can ask for. The receptionists are always so kind and make everything so easy and my GP is always fantastic. You can tell they really care about their patients and I come away from here every time feeling like I’ve gotten the best care possible. Thank you!

Honestly this is the best doctors I’ve ever been at. I don’t have a bad word to say, and I never write google reviews but feel that it’s important to shout about how great they are. I have a chronic illness and they always find a solution to my pain. Besides that, they just get stuff done - I went this morning about my repeat prescription, then asked at the end if she could take a look at my mole, and then they said “oh we can remove it now for you”. This removes all my worries and any waiting time. I feel like they really listen to you, discuss your options and work together to give you what you need. I can always get a same-day appointment as well using the online service. Always friendly and professional!!

I can't rate this doctor's practice enough. They have such a great team working there. The receptionists, nurses, g.p's and nurse practitioners. I've had to move so now I'm with another g.p practice but I miss the whole team here. I wish I could bring them with me. They've been so helpful and supportive. Very caring and friendly. You're lucky to be registered at this practice. They are a great asset to the NHS.

Great surgery, reflected by the GP Patient Survey 2021. I've been here for 20 years and although (emergencies aside) it's hard to get an appointment at the drop of a hat (redial, redial, redial due to patient numbers!) there's always the app which a few problems aside I've found reliable. Doctors are superb, were brilliant during Covid. 👍

5 stars for the practice, minus 2 for the receptionist! Practice is great, can always get an appointment and doctors are lovely & helpful. However, Martin (call handler) very rude and awful tone! Couldn’t believe how I was spoken to, it was almost laughable. Normally reception are lovely here but last couple times I’ve rang I’ve had Martin who’s really letting the practice down. No need for the attitude.

Lovely practice, been registered for approx 4 years now and never had an issue getting an appointment - professionals are always very knowledgable and kind. The nurses speak to you like you’re a friend as opposed to a patient which eases my nerves at the doctor.
