Lovely place, lovely staff. Went out with some very dear friends for a meal. Our friends had been here before and introduced us to The Olive Branch, plenty to choose from on the menu. They did not mind that I fancied two starters, one would be my main meal. Enjoyed the atmosphere very much, would definitely be going again.

I went there for lunch a few weeks ago. Pros: The restaurant's interior is warm and inviting. There is free parking available outside or on the street. The staff is extremely attentive. Cons: I ordered grill chicken, which was dry and flavourless. I rarely use extra salt when dining out, but I had to this time. It was supposed to be served with a 'salad' but it was more of a mixture of dry carrots, cucumber, tomato, and lettuce. The non alcoholic cocktails we had were way too sweet and not properly mixed. Be aware that a 10% service charge is automatically added to your bill (which I didn't mind this time because, as previously stated, the staff were excellent), but on the whole I believe is a bad practice. Would I go back: not really.

The Olive Branch in Alwoodley is one of our favourite restaurants. Good food, great service & on some days there’s a set price menu for 2 courses. In the summer time there’s fabulous outside seating with heaters if needed. My favourite is the Seabass & their fish cakes & falafel are great too. Over the years the menu hasn’t changed so we’ve worked our way through nearly the whole menu. We love you Ari & the Olive Branch.

Visited today after taking a tour of Emmerdale nearby. This little restaurant is amazing, the food was beautiful, the service was superb and I was shocked in a really good way when I got the bill. Everyone in my party was really pleased with their meal and it really topped off our day. Would deffo take a trip back. Thank you

We had a really nice lunch here in February there were six of us three couples the guys all met as apprentices and attended building college together many years ago. We chose from the lunch specials two course menu and we weren’t disappointed we all had different dishes so it would be wrong of me to just single mine out but everyone enjoyed their meals and it was very good value. We had a mixture of drinks though my wife and I had wine which was a high standard. The service could not have been better attentive without being intrusive and we are tempted to try there other branches no pun intended. Highly recommend for quality food service and atmosphere.

Visit to the olive branch Alwoodley very nice restaurant clean with a nice bar my choice of starter calamari which is my favourite wherever I go was bloody Awful that said the rest our food was fantastic and cooked and presented very well . The waiting staff were young inexperienced and inattentive stood talking to each other at the bar while I would have loved another drink all in all a good experience just a few minor issues

Love it! Food was great, generous portions. Waitress so nice and helpful. We such lovely time to celebrate my partner birthday.
