This is a large park with loads of green space and good play areas. The farm is £4 for Adults and £2.70 for children with under 5’s free. The farm is really good and has a play area that is only accessible from the farm. There are lots of cobbles so even though it has disabled access it is very bumpy. The cafe is reasonable, the shop is very over priced - £2.75 for a jumbo cookie, £2.50 for a caramel slice. There is lots of outdoor space for eating, but if it is wet there is not enough indoor space on busy days. There is also a ‘go-ape’ adventure and you can pay extra to go into the house if you feel the need. Have fun!

Lovely place for a walk. We walked 5km with our 7 month old baby in our all terrain pram and it was a great walk. We parked in one of the free car parks and had a lovely walk.

Amazing place. We love feeding ducks, the country walks, the rose garden and victorian glasshouse, the cafe, the farm, the play area, the allotment area , the large open grasslands and free parking!. As a family we attend Temple Newsam park regular and often. We usually take our 3yr old to feed the ducks at Menagerie ponds on the wooden bridge. Then sometimes pop up for a stroll round the rose garden which is flat and tarmacked so easy for a child to walk on. The victorian glasshouse is here as well and we enjoy walking through and seeing the flowers and plants here, its a good place to get away from rain, there is a small information section at the end of the glasshouse. All this is free including the parking. We sometimes pop in to the farm (which you have to pay for), this gives us a chance to see sheep, lambs, pigs, piglets, ducks, chickens, donkeys, goats and cattle, there is also Leeds bee association here which has an observation out during Summer. There is also a second play area in the paid for farm section. We still havent been in the main house though which again has an entrance fee. There is a cafe close by to the farm which sells hot drinks, sandwiches and buns. I find the cafe to be a little expensive but nice, we tend to pop in and get a cuppa because virtually everything else is free of charge. There are plenty of areas to have picnics weather permitting. There is a very nice and good sized play area next to the carpark which the little one loves. There are 3 slides here. a couple of climbing frames, 1 large and 1 small, 2 sets of swings. 1 for toddlers and 1 for larger small children and an excellent zip wire which my 3yr old thinks is amazing. If you have more time there are plenty of walks going around the 1500 acre estate.

I didn’t get to Temple Newsam to see the rhododendrons as planned this year, but did manage to fit in a quick visit today. The grounds really are magnificent! I love the walled garden and the many paths which lead around the estate. We also visited the tea rooms for a late lunch-friendly staff and lovely food; generous portion sizes too. You can explore the grounds for free but there are charges to visit the house, farm and Go Ape (we passed this as we headed back to eat-looks like great fun!) Parking is free except for the carpark nearest the drive in entrance which is £4.70; this can be paid online or by visiting the gift shop. Recommended!

Beautiful park, highly recommend the Walled Gardens. Great place for dog walking and/or for a day out with the kids.

Tired tired tired! Needs completely pulling down and a new play area in its place. This park is next to the main car park for the temple newsam estate. It's visited all day long and is so worn out. Lots of damaged equipment, rotting wooden features, and peeling paint .

Great afternoon visit here. Really nice well preserved Elizabethan house. I think it's older in places, but predominantly it's of this style. Many of the furniture and fittings are original which is rare in many houses of this age. Fantastic expansive grounds, walled garden and farmyard animals for kids.

I PERSONALLY LOVE THIS PLACE . ITS A BIT BAREN AT THE MOMENT. BUT WILL LOOK LOVELY IN THE SPRING AS SNOW DROPS AND DAFF'S ARE JUST STARTING TO SHOW . LOOKS LIKE ALOTOF WORK HAS BEEN DONE IN THE PLAY AREAS, AND ALL THE GROUND AROUND THE SWINGS AND SLIDES HAVE BEEN LEVELLED . STILL ABIT BOGGY ON THE PATHS HEADING DOWN TO LAKE .

Very nice. Took my fiends dog out for a walk not knowing the grounds. Sound myself exploring the trails and paths. Grounds are very well kept and the wildlife seems very happy. Great of you want to have a long walk or exercise with views.

Lovely parklands. Lots of things to do. Lots of walks for you and your dog with a nice cafe for a coopa and a piece of cake. Recommended.

Really great park. Good dor walks, cycling, flying model planes and dog walking. Currently spoilt a little by the collection of pikeys camping near the entrance (Sept 2022).

Farm area visit. Not too expensive, although disappointed they didn't have John deer peddle tractors open, that area under renovation with the promise of a new kids area to come. Educational play area still looking a bit run down, and no bees to view, piglets were cool. Hope the price doesn't go up when they reopen the area. Main play park also could do with some tlc, pully out of service this week.

Really lovely park on the edge of the city with great walks. Would be even better without all the discarded rubbish everywhere. Managed to fill one carrier in just 6 minutes of walking. Such a shame.

Don't go as often as I could, cosindering it's not far. Went with my children today, walking our dog and enjoying an ice cream in the shade. It's really great for a walk around with family and or friends, there's a cafe to get refreshment and a working farm you can walk around (at a charge) If you're in Leeds, it's worth popping in for a look and sometimes, there's even events on!!

Walked the Perimeter on a beautiful sunny day, Thursday 12th. Walking by the stream lakes below house very mild amd windless.

Loads of different walking routes. Rhododendrons are great just now (mid May). Courtyard cafe is good.

Heritage Square is a charming park with a touch of history. The preserved architecture and informative plaques provide a glimpse into the past. It's a great place for a leisurely stroll and to soak in some local culture.
