    UP does what it’s says it will do I can not recommend it enough. I have been to many gyms and trainers over the years with minimal results, however through hard work with my trainer Justina I am in the best shape of my life and at my age and being female going through the menopause that isn’t easy. UP just hasn’t improved my physical appearance it has also helped with my mental well-being. I have had a few injuries over the years and other trainers pushed me through the pain, with Justina she built my strength then pushed me without causing pain or further injury. Justina is tough, caring, professional and friendly she always makes me feel good about myself and my results and knows when to kick my backside and push me harder. I love the environment in UP it is relaxed yet professional and everyone there wants you to achieve results. Don’t think twice about joining, invest in yourself and you will get results and I have no doubt a brilliant professional, dedicated trainer

    I’m truly loving my time so far with UP and can honestly say for the first time in my life I enjoy the gym! I’m learning so much, both around training and nutrition - which is invaluable. I’m so grateful to Martin for his continued support both in our sessions but also all the additional resources and guidance throughout the days and weeks he provides. I feel fitter, stronger and leaner, with much more energy. Martin truly keeps me on track and pushes me to achieve my goals but in a very kind and considerate way.The atmosphere in the gym is relaxed, friendly and professional. I am excited to see how I continue to grow with UP - thank you!

    If you're thinking about it - DO IT! I really struggled to make any progress with a former PT at my local chain gym. I then joined UP and everything changed. I train with Paul but all the trainers are amazing - it's literally changed my life. I started because I wanted to change my physique but I've gained so much more than that. I now finally understand about nutrition, sleep, routine. I feel better than I look, yet I look better than I ever have! Paul is really supportive, encouraging and dedicated to getting results for me, not for himself. You have to commit - you get out what you put it - but it's so rewarding when you see the results of your own hard work.

    Committing to 3 months training at UP prior to my wedding was the best thing I have ever done. I’ve always trained regularly myself and I wasn’t overweight but I wanted to really challenge myself prior to my wedding so I looked and felt my best. I was worried how it would work as I wasn’t a typical ‘transformation’ client but I’m so happy I did it. I am lifting so much heavier than I ever did training myself and feel absolutely incredible. All the trainers are lovely and I really enjoy the community feel of it. Aadil is amazing and I have signed on for more sessions and plan to keep going with it even post wedding. Couldn’t recommend UP Leeds enough!!

    I decided to join UP after slowly gaining weight since having my daughter. I’d tried every diet / gym class going but there was nothing that had worked. The straw that broke the camel’s back was lock down and I knew I needed the one to one support of a PT to help me change my mindset to food and training. I’d not stepped into a gym for years so they had become intimidating places and I didn’t have a clue about technique or form. After doing lots of research, I was impressed by the UPs transformations and the one to one support they offered. UP is not cheap and the Leeds gym isn’t local to me but I knew it was that level of support I needed to get my health and fitness back on track. So fast forward 14 weeks. I’ve lost weight, changed shape, signed up to another block of sessions and I’ve found a new love of weight training. I’ve not only grown stronger physically but also mentally - which I’d not anticipated. My trainer Justina is constantly pushing me; reminding me why I signed up, what I want to achieve and is always on hand if I have any questions. Whilst there is room for improvement with my tracking, I’m so pleased with what I’ve achieved to date and I can’t wait to see what else is possible. UP offers a gym environment that is friendly and inviting. Its super clean and you never have to wait to use a machine. The city centre location is great and the flexibility they offer around when you can train means it can fit into anyone’s busy schedule. It’s an investment in yourself and your health which you can’t put a price on. I wish I’d joined sooner and would 100% recommend UP.

    I’ve been working with Justina at UP on and off since December last year. My work schedule means that I can’t attend religiously for 12 weeks straight, but when I do get the time to go the results I am getting exceed my expectations. All the trainers are so friendly and you are made to feel very comfortable on the gym floor. I’ll continue with UP for as long as I can as I love how accountable it makes me. Your trainer will be by you side in and out the gym and make sure you health, goals and well-being is been taken care of.

    After years of dieting and not really getting anywhere (other than putting on more and more weight), I was finally able to see progress by joining UP. I saw amazing results, and I lost 15kg in my first 12 weeks. I exceeded my original goal weight and I have decided to continue training with UP to get to another goal… which I never thought would be possible! The personal training sessions are always pushing me to progression and Justina’s experience and guidance shines through, compared to what I’ve experienced at other gyms. Would 100% recommend to anyone who really wants that change in their life!

    I joined UP due to my sudden weight gain during the pandemic, and I can honestly say I love my time there! Oliver has been a fantastic PT. He provides a wealth of knowledge and experience and keeps me motivated throughout my journey. I highly recommend Ultimate performance and can't wait to see my end goal!!

    Only 2 weeks into an 8 week program with James at UP before I jet off to Australia for 6 months. Not only am I feeling so much better in myself I am seeing solid results already. The gym has a great vibe and all the other trainers are really friendly. I wish I had started earlier! Would recommend to anyone, even if you’ve never stepped foot in a gym before. I will definitely be returning to UP after my trip to Aus!

    When I joined U.P Leeds I was apprehensive, as I have been to the gym many times over the years but have always ended up suffering an injury of some sort which has stopped my progress. However, I have been blown away by the attention to detail from my personal trainer, Paul. I am lifting more weight than ever before and he has also helped me to change daily habits to ensure I live a healthier lifestyle - he even met with my spouse so that she could help plan my day-to-day routine! I am really enjoying the journey and am looking forward to getting into the best shape of my life. I would highly recommend U.P Leeds.

    UP has exceeded all my expectations I’m absolutely loving training and I’m getting results I didn’t think would even be possible. When I joined I was living off prepped meals and drinking most weekends and thought I’d continue but the advice and support I’ve been given has totally transformed my lifestyle and I feel like a new person. My trainer Kris is absolutely fantastic, he pushes me every session and doesn’t let me give up even if when I want to. The ongoing support and encouragement I get off him is just amazing and keeps me so motivated to keep pushing myself and I find myself setting more goals every time I tick the next one off. The gym is great, all the trainers are so lovely so even when everyone in the gym is pushing themselves there’s always a fab atmosphere and you can see how much everyone wants to be there giving it 100%. I would absolutely recommend UP….the only regret I have is that I didn’t do it sooner!

    After 20+ years of going to my local gym and never having worked with a personal trainer before, I finally signed up to UP Leeds and I am so excited to say that it has been the best decision I have made. I regret not having joined earlier given the location, so near to Leeds city centre, flexibility with training schedules, support and most of all my trainer Oliver's dedication to improve my physical transformation, strength and resilience. I am really impressed with the training program. Oliver is very knowledgeable, and goes the extra mile to ensure that the program supports me as an individual to be strong, fit and healthy. The changes are noticeable and for the first time ever I actually feel confident using weights. I am going to be staying on after my 12 week plan as I see this as an investment in my health and cant wait to see what else is possible.

    UP has completely surpassed my expectations; in just three months I have gone from being at an unhealthy weight and zero prior gym experience to having shed 7% body fat, and now confident in the gym! Outside of time spent in the gym, my trainer Oliver is always on hand for nutritional advice and helpful check ins. If you are motivated, UP will ensure you make extraordinary progress in an unbelievably short space of time. What sets them apart is the sophisticated knowledge base of their trainers; Oliver continually debunks a lot of myths I had believed, and having this knowledge allows you to understand what you are doing so that you can train and eat smarter.     I had been training for over 3 years before I started my journey with UP. The training I had with my trainer at UP is next level, and has helped me achieve the body of my dreams which had been trying for years with no success. The consistent help, personalised approach in training, keeping my nutrition under control, and the continuous motivation by my trainer always created a positive vibe and fun in getting trained at UP Leeds. Once you enter UP, the whole atmosphere changes and you get into the zone to get trained and then challenged every session. It’s really worth every penny, and the time I invested at UP Leeds. And my trainer was absolutely spot on to getting me the transformation I was looking for.

    Joined UP Performance with the intention of losing weight in a short amount of time - lost 13kg in 12 weeks. The training plan is catered to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time. Environment is friendly and relaxed. Best decision I've made - highly recommended!! Shout out to Ashley for a being a fantastic trainer. Literally watches every rep and corrects you throughout the training sessions. Refreshing to see that level of dedication into the the job. Couldn't have lost the weight without him. Very mature and professional throughout, he's an asset to the UP Performance gym.

    I can honestly say that signing up to UP was the best decision I’ve made and the best investment in myself. I knew I would achieve the results I wanted, I’d done my research, but UP exceeded my expectations and I achieved results I didn’t know I was capable of, especially in such a short period of time. I’m so much stronger and leaner physically, but also so much happier in myself, I’ve found a love of lifting and exercise again, I’ve more energy day to day and have more confidence in myself which has a positive impact in other areas of my life. The support from my trainer Kris is second to none, he is truly invested in you achieving your goals and has a real passion for helping people transform their health and fitness. He is the right balance of best friend and worse enemy – pushing you to the max when needed but providing unparalleled support to meet your goals and always available to answer questions, provide support and encouragement day to day. I’m so grateful for his time and patience in helping me achieve my goals. The whole set up in the gym and addition support is superb via the app which makes tracking and accountability really easy. The gym itself is easily accessible, really clean, great facilities and they have created a lovely atmosphere, very welcoming. The whole team at UP have a fantastic work ethic, dedicated and invested in their clients goals. I loved every minute of my training so far I signed up for more sessions to further progress my training and I’m excited to see what I can achieve next. Can’t recommend UP highly enough, if your looking for the support of a PT these guys are the best!

    I joined UP after, like most people, noticing that lockdown hadn't been kind to my waistline. I'd had a tough time making changes off my own back so needed some extra support. In just 18 weeks I have managed to lose weight, tone up and improve my fitness way more than I had anticipated would be possible in such a short time frame. Not only that, but the program at UP has really helped with my way of thinking and re-sparked my enjoyment of keeping fit. Big thanks to Martin & the team for their ongoing and attentive support! 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

After years of trying and failing to get into shape the UP program has been the jolt I needed! Liam my trainer is always positive and really knows his stuff - and this has meant my body has taken shape while also being enjoyable.

    I’ve been with UP since late September 2021 and it has been a very worthwhile investment for me. I’m now getting in the best shape of my life and it’s definitely thanks to these guys. I’ve always wanted to get into resistance training and get bigger, but I never knew where to start and I wasn’t getting the guidance I expected in previous gyms I’ve been at. I also never really knew how best to go about making the right food choices. PT was the investment I needed to get me on the right path. After losing a lot of weight during lockdown and then getting out of shape after trying to eat more, I’d had enough and wanted to change how I viewed food and resistance training to ensure I actually started to see results. After extensive research I was impressed with UPs client record and whilst Leeds is somewhat out of my way, it seemed to me a better service than my local offering. During my initial consultation and introduction I was encouraged to be open and I was given time to talk about my motivations for wanting a programme and what I wanted post my time with UP. There were some nice touches that I appreciated such as a free gym rucksack (perfect for getting there on the train), pre workout supplements and a big bag of their protein whey powder. Tracking my diet during the cut phase was difficult initially, but it was a tough lesson for me and I’ve learnt a lot on making better food choices for cutting and then bulking. The app is very intuitive for tracking diet with initial consistent feedback from my PT. I made UP aware that I don’t live locally to Leeds and they have been supportive with accommodating my work and travel needs and adjusting this whenever requested. During sessions I’ve throughly enjoyed not having to wait for equipment like in normal gyms and having expert guidance and feedback to ensure I’m getting the most out of every session. Colleagues I’ve spoken to at the gym are friendly and have given me a lot of encouragement to persevere. I’m now entering into the phase where I’m being supported to continue replicating my journey post my time with UP and I’ve been very pleased with my gains and my confidence has increased 10-fold. In the run up to Christmas I was also invited to do a ‘half-way’ video interview which made me feel valued that UP were interested in what I had to say and how my feelings had changed since starting the programme. Yes it’s lot of money if you’re not on a big salary, but I do believe it’s a worthwhile investment to get the 1-1 support you just don’t get in normal chain or council run gyms, who just simply cannot compete with the level of personalisation UP give their clients. Getting in prime physical shape is a massive confidence booster and for me is well worth it.

    My journey started in January (cliche) after a few years of general inactivity and bad habits due to hip surgery, lockdown, and losing confidence. I’d always admired UP from afar and felt I needed a physical and mental challenge to reset. After the initial consultation I was assigned to my PT, Ashley, who to date (9 weeks in) has supported, encouraged and sometimes pushed me through the process with knowledge and expertise, tailoring training to accommodate for old injuries. The facilities at UP Leeds are excellent and all the staff take the time to say hello with a smile on their faces. I’m now on track to reach my physical goals, which can be measured visually, but it’s the unseen improvements in my wellbeing that have been the most valuable investment. Thanks UP! Looking forward to continuing the journey.

    I have been training at UP for 9 weeks now and only wish I had started sooner. I had been feeling unfit and unhealthy for a long time but since I started training at UP I feel healthier and have more energy. My trainer Justina is very knowledgeable and supportive. It's been a revelation learning how to train effectively and correctly. I look forward to our sessions every week. Justina pushes me to work harder than I ever thought I would be able to and she is always available for advice and guidance. The team at UP are welcoming and friendly which makes a big difference, it's not intimidating at all which some gyms can be. I would not hesitate in recommending UP, it's worth the investment in your health and I am really looking forward to seeing how much more I can achieve with Justina's excellent guidance.

    I joined UP around 7 weeks ago to start my weight loss journey. (6kg down so far!) This is the first time I’ve felt like I’m making a healthy lifestyle change with weight loss as a side effect, rather than just focusing on losing weight. Thanks to UP I already have so much more energy in my day to day life :) My trainer, Martin, keeps me accountable and provides me motivation when my energy is low. He keeps in regular contact via the app about my nutrition (mostly to tell me I’m not eating enough protein) and he is always there whenever I have questions. I don’t know if I would be doing anywhere near as well as I am without him. Thank you! I normally find gyms quite intimidating, but UP has such a relaxed and welcoming energy that I never feel self conscious or out of place there. All the staff are extremely friendly and will always say hello and will stop to have a chat with you. I’ve tried several gyms and personal training courses but I’ve never had the support that I have had at UP. They almost take the whole thing off your hands - they tell you what to eat each day, they tell you what exercises to do, and they are completely invested in getting you to your goal. In my opinion, that extra support that I get from UP makes it so worth the money.

    Have been going to UP since early October and so far had 26 sessions. I’m genuinely surprised with what I have achieved till now. UP has changed my mindset about health and fitness and I am hoping to build good habits for years to come. I am now more conscious about the foods I consume and how I train( the form, the technique, volume & intensity) did not know these terms prior to UP. My aim was to lose weight, build muscle and get an aesthetically pleasing physique. I’m doing well so far atleast in the first two😊. Liam has been an excellent trainer, very encouraging and motivating during our sessions. All I can say, it’s a great place to be and will 💯 % recommend UP to family & friends.

    I joined UP Leeds to prep for my upcoming wedding - I only had 3 months to go, and was really panicking about feeling confident on the big day. I am so pleased that I joined when I did, and my only regret is that I didn't join sooner. I was assigned to Liam who has been the most amazing trainer I could have asked for - pushing me to achieve my goals, but always with kindness and patience. The other trainers are all really friendly and help to create a nice atmosphere in the gym. Whilst there is always room for further improvement, I have achieved a physique I didn't know I was capable of in a really short space of time - I am excited to see what I can achieve with the help of Liam and the UP team after the wedding!

    I don’t usually (well, ever) write reviews but I found them so useful when I was deciding whether to join UP and I hope this might be useful if you’re in the same position. I joined UP about 5 months ago. I’d put on some weight over the last few years and was struggling to lose it on my own. I’ve now lost about 16.5kg and haven’t been this weight for over 6 years! I’ve really enjoyed my training and the whole process. My trainer, Steph, is fantastic and because of her help, guidance and support I’ve achieved so much more than I ever thought I would including a recent PB on deadlifts of 80kg! I feel so much happier and more confident than I did when I first arrived. It's a nice atmosphere in the gym and the other trainers are all very friendly too. Yes, it is a lot of money and not always easy, but for me it has been completely worth it and I'm so pleased I decided to do this. If you really want to make changes, UP is the way to go. I've learnt so much about exercise and nutrition and I really can't speak highly enough of them.

    I started with UP Leeds in July this year and am coming to the end of a 22 week transformation programme with Kyle Green as my PT. I’d heard of UP previously, working in London. It took some time to commit to signing up but once I knew they were in Leeds and I could no longer ignore the numbers on the scales, I went for it. I’ve done some training with a PT previously and trained in gyms generally intermittently through my life having played rugby for 20 odd years. But this is very, very different. From the moment I walked in and met Kyle, talked through my reasons and my goals I knew it was going to be good. We had honest open conversations, I had goal ideas and he took those, pushed them and set them to a whole new level beyond what I honestly thought was possible for someone like me. Clearly setting out the plans making them feel achievable and also assuring me he had my back throughout and really, really knows his stuff. I am honestly astounded by my results losing over 18kg in weight and cutting my body fat from 33% to 12% and tracking for between 8-10%. Yes I can, if I wanted to, claim lots of credit for putting in the work in the gym, sticking to the diet (pretty much!) and doing extra work outside the PT sessions. However, there is no way I would have achieved it without Kyle in my corner pushing, guiding, listening and teaching. He’s a life changer in my eyes and my life has changed throughout this process (he knows, he’s been part shrink as well as PT!!) I want to say thank you to the whole UP Leeds team. I had a number of sessions with other trainers while Kyle was on paternity early in my journey and every one of them was great and agin pushed me in each session. So a thanks also to Chris, Steph, Alex and Ash. But final word goes to Kyle. Thank you and huge respect. I owe you a lot and I owe it to you and this process to not allow myself to ever have to go through it again!

    UP has been game changer. Alex is a superb personal trainer who keeps you motivated and on track whilst also making the gym an enjoyable place to be. So far I have lost over 18kg in 11 weeks, which is testament to Alex’s dedication and also the training plans UP offer. I would highly recommend UP to anyone looking to lose weight and get in shape!

    Although I’m only 5 weeks into UP experience, I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for real results! I started seeing them even after 2 weeks and it’s very motivating and rewarding, but it takes hard work and dedication as well as the excellent support from your UP trainer. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Alex, who has been brilliant. Always encouraging, but pushing for more. He’s readily available when it comes to any questions about training or the nutrition plan (even checking in whilst he was on holiday to make sure everything was ok!) I’ve done some sessions with Justina too, who has also been great. All the trainers are really welcoming and make you feel supported in every session. It’s not cheap and it’s certainly not easy, but you really do get what you pay for and it’s probably one of the best investments you could make in yourself.

    UP Leeds is exactly what it says on the tin. Ashley and the UP Team have been exceptionally and extremely motivating throughout the programme. With Ashley’s guidance and discipline I have managed to lose 10kg’s in 10 weeks, gained muscle mass and have never been fitter. It’s not been easy as I never stepped into a gym before UP Leeds nor have I ever understood the benefits of eating meals regularly as it was difficult to find the time through travelling at work and family commitments. I found UP Leeds and Ashley worked around my schedule and have supported me throughout. Bring on the next 10 weeks for even greater results! Thanks Team UP!

    UP Leeds has been a great commitment to my health for the last 8 months. I have never done anything like this before and wow I am glad I did commit. Shredding 20kg in that time, feeling fitter and stronger in my 40s than I ever did in my 30s. Kyle Green and the team have been fab in pushing me to achieve my goal, as well as teaching me the benefits of strength training. UP is not a diet and endless hours in the gym, it is a lifestyle change for a healthier future.
