Lovely place to enjoy fine Italian cuisine. The food is extremely good and the staff were very attentive and polite. The restaurant has some very Italian looking decor, and the whole experience was a delight. This independent restaurant is one which I would highly recommend and is far better than the national chains. The owner, Vito comes to your table to ensure your satisfaction which is a nice touch. Will definitely be back.

A lovely Italian, probably the best in Leeds at the moment. A seafood heavy menu with freshest fish but lots more. Could eat everything on the menu. All the staff care about the food and drink and made some fantastic recommendations. Really good value, delicious food, great service. Just go, you won’t regret it.

This place was absolutely fantastic, it might just be the best Italian restaurant I've ever visited. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was just so good, rich in flavour, cooked extremely well and presented beautifully. The subtleties of the Italian food really showed in the cuisine, huge compliments to the chef. In short, I would definitely visit again and I actually cannot wait. Dont change a thing, please!

I had a wonderful Christmas dining experience at Da Vito Ristorante. The owner's warm hospitality set the tone for the evening. The service provided by the waitresses was top-class, attentive and friendly. The food exceeded expectations—tasty and of high quality. The cozy and quiet atmosphere added to the overall charm of the restaurant. A delightful experience that I would highly recommend!"

I came here tonight and came here early. What I immediately noticed was the friendly environment the restaurant offers. For somebody who does not go out to eat fancy often, the employee/boss (particularly a man with all black outfit) approached me to strike a conversation whilst I was alone in store- immediately felt less intimidated. I then noticed how every single customer that entered after me was greeted with a big hug. There is a big "We are family" vibe that I have not gotten in any other restaurant before. He was super kind to provide us with top-notch service including a welcome entree. Leaving the store he personally escorted us out to wave us goodbye at the door. Food was amazing! I had risotto and some pasta as well as a starter. I would definitely recommend! Thank you Da Vito Restaurante, you have my heart :) Ps: try their amazing latte!

A wonderful little Italian on York Place. An extensive menu with something for everyone at a very reasonable price. Firstly you a served a complimentary appetiser of flat bread and cold meats so I was glad we didn’t opt for the garlic tomato bread as I think we’d have struggled to finish our meal. Both John and JJ ordered the Prawn Cocktail for starters which seems to be their go to dish, not a standard prawn cocktail as it had beetroot, apple and pomegranate added to it which made it even tastier and I opted for the buffalo mozzarella, tomato and avocado. For mains again the boys went for the same dish of tortellini ragu and I the tagliolini salmon. We were all very pleased with our choices and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Da Vito’s to anybody visiting Leeds.

We had a fantastic meal at this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday while attending a conference in Leeds. The food was beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxed and all the staff were very attentive and friendly. Such a great find.

On first arriving at Da Vito restaurant we were greeted with such warmth and felt so comfortable. One of our party was in a wheelchair and the staff couldn’t do enough to make sure our needs were attended too. All the staff are a credit to Da Vito. All polite and very attentive. The menu is extensive with loads of choice. The food was so fresh, tasty and of very good quality. Would not hesitate to go back the next time we visit Leeds. Would highly recommend Da Vito restaurant.

Went here on a whim not expecting much. From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly. The staff were lovely, it had a very authentic Italian feel. The wine was amazing and the food was outstanding. Can see myself coming back here regularly. Kudos to the team here :)

The food was incredible! So tasty and well presented. The service was so unbelievably brilliant, I was given a water bowl and spare plate for my seafood main and once I took the shells off, I received a new clean plate within seconds. The menu is diverse, something for everyone. The staff were so kind and helpful and we will definitely be coming back. I have definitely found my favourite restaurant of all time. Thank you for the most wonderful experience!! We even received a free starter (I didn’t manage to get a pic) Cost: £64 for a starter, two mains and two alcoholic beverages plus water.

Great little restaurant full of authentic charm. I Rreally can't fault this place; great selection of pizza, pasta, seafood, steaks and a specials board. It's a bit of a hidden gem in my opinion...

The food was very good here, I didn't get chance to take photos of the mains but got some of the desserts. The staff were very welcoming at the start but as the meal went on it was getting increasingly harder to get their attention, we tried to order a second round for drinks a number of times, then when the order was taken, the drinks never arrived which was a shame as some members of the party finished their drinks during the main. Because of this I am giving 4 stars rather than 5. However, I would recommend coming here as the food was good!

Three years and a half in Leeds I've lost my hope to find a good italian restaurant to enjoy pasta, but after I visited Da Vito Ristorante everything changed. Amazing pasta, amazing people, great place. I really can't express my happiness after visiting this place. A lovely meal in a friendly restaurant. It was my birthday celebration (don't ask) and I treated my grown up family. We had great food, the calamari was top notch! Although I promised myself to be good and have fish (my daughter had the sea bass and said it was great), I actually went for the spicy pizza (I just can't ignore proper pizza on the menu) and it was delicious, very flavourful and very filling. A good night was had at a reasonable price.

The service is lovely and starters, mains and desserts were succulently delicious. I'll definitely come again!

They serve really good carbonara! Top notch! Parma ham with melon is a wonderful combination, bringing out the best tastes of each other. The chef is kind enough to inform us up front that some items are not fresh enough to serve. The restaurant is cosy and warm, lovely atmosphere!

Recently we celebrated our meeting in a nice cozy restaurant and as always we did not get disappointed. Delicious food beautifully presented. A wonderful atmosphere and a nice cosy place.
