Decided to take my friend here as it is her last week in Leeds. It was very disappointing, service was very slow even though it wasn’t busy. We ordered 2 pancakes and 2 stews - our mains arrived first, when we asked about the pancakes, we were told that it would come right away. However, it took 10 mins for one pancake to arrived, and another 10 mins for the second one. Food wasn’t authentic either, the seafood pancake was the only dish that we liked. Not only that, one of the waitress was not helpful at all as she doesn’t seems to be bothered about working there. This isn’t my first time visiting so I was very disappointed. Won’t be back, and will not be recommending.

I want to give 0 stars… The worst Korean food in the world. No authentic and too greasy… The fried chicken was horrible… I even couldn’t finish the fried chicken although the portion was not too big… And the katsu chicken was sooooo thin🥲🥲🥲🥲 (as you can see in the photos) Never come here anymore.

Amazing food, very tasty, when you sit down, they provide you with free kimchi pickles and tap water. The Korean BBQ is deceptively small, it looks small but once cooked and eaten, incredibly filling, the service was a tad slow but it was two people helping 6 groups of people so it was an acceptable amount of slowness, can not wait to try this place again and try something else on the menu

Honestly not great. Service was slightly disappointing. Ordered the hotpot stew that took nearly 45 mins to arrive when it wasn't even that busy. Taste was not impressive. Also ordered the honey soy fried chicken wings, which were well-breaded and had a good sauce, but the meat itself just tasted unmarinated.

Amazing Korean barbecue. Affordable prices. Great overall taste and quality. Friendly staff. Good Korean beverages as well. Definitely recommend their hotpots and bulgogi. Their kimchi fried rice was amazing. 😍 Definitely recommend and will go again.

Can't see what the bad reviews are talking about. Food was delicious and came out very fast. Staff are very efficient. 10/10 would come again. BBQ Bulgogi on the hot plate was a great feature. I would say very authentic and absolutely excellent.

Shocking. Beyond disappointed. Very small and thin haemul pajon, couldn't really see any seafood in there. Budae Jigae was sweet?? Paid for extra kimchi to try to improve the jigae.. still awfull. This was not genuine korean food, over priced & very disappointing.

Jokbal is not tasty and dry. It is Chinese style rather than Korean. Chicken is in small portion which combine of wings. Staff was nice. If you wants a taste of Korean, dont suggest this. Price: ~£10 for 6pc of chicken+330ml beer ~£10 for Jokbal

I always loved their chicken but when I went for some cuisine/more authentic Korean food, it took a bit long to get the food (might depend on the menu I guess) and think wasn’t really worth the price

Came here for the barbecue but was more amazed by the Korean fried chicken. We ordered the mixed meat plate that has a bit of everything. BBQ Chicken and beef tastes alright but the pork had a really strong smell despite being marinated in a lot of sauces. Definitely try the fried chickens !

Amazing Korean food with a lovely ambience and great variety in the menu, with loads of Vegetarian and Vegan options. We had the Bibimbap, Tteokkbokki and Yujgaejang. Would 10/10 recommend!

Choessi Ajeossi Korean Restaurant is a hidden gem located in Leeds. Upon walking in, the ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and welcoming with Korean traditional music playing in the background. The menu offers a wide range of dishes from bibimbap to bulgogi, and everything in between. The food is absolutely amazing, with the perfect balance of flavors and textures. The bulgogi is incredibly tender and flavorful, and the bibimbap is packed with fresh vegetables and a perfect fried egg on top. The staff is also very friendly and attentive, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. The portion sizes are generous, making it an ideal spot for sharing dishes with friends and family. The prices are reasonable, given the quality of the food and the portion sizes. Overall, Choessi Ajeossi Korean Restaurant is a must-visit spot for anyone looking to experience authentic Korean cuisine in Leeds. The food is flavorful and delicious, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Don't miss out on trying their famous Korean fried chicken, which is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Highly recommended!

ordered tteokbokki, half half fried chicken... chicken was kinda fine but the tteokbokki was way too salty to eat (don't think they even blended the sauce well enough) and didnt have any flavours...The beers are quite good

We had a great evening here. The food was excellent. We drank some Cass, a Korean beer, we had some absolutely fantastic Korean fried chicken (a spicy plate and a ginger and soy variety), we ordered another portion after we had finished the first one and then we also added a kimchi pancake, vegetable dumplings, salt and pepper chips which was all absolutely brilliant.

My friends and I went here today. The food was amazing and the staff were so nice to us. We got the bbq platter and the waitress helped us with the stove, she checked on us to make sure we were okay and helped us take out the old sheets in the stove. The place is amazing and the food is so tasty. I would definetly recommend!
