I came here to discuss how to have a healthy pregnancy after going into preterm labor with my first pregnancy. The woman on the phone was nice but the doctor seemed annoyed and like she was in a rush because I wasn’t currently pregnant. She also made some weird comments that seemed very brash considering I had just lost my son in May.. also, I wanted to enter into a dialogue about what I could do to manage my weight and PCOS (I expressed this to the woman on the phone, the nurse, and the doctor) and she was just like, “Yeah you seem pretty sure of what you’re going to do.” And the appointment was over. I feel like I wasted a visit and copay. This is the second Capital Women’s Care office I’ve been to so I think it’s just time to find a different practice. I’ve called and complained to corporate and they’ve done nothing. I really do not recommend any Capital Women’s Care branch.

My experience with Dr Brown was enough to make me leave this practice. She is impersonable and inappropriate as a provider. During my visit with her, she somehow thought it was appropriate to discuss her own biases regarding my religion. This is my first pregnancy and was my first OB visit and she spent the whole appointment time talking about how she feels about things she knows nothing about in my religion and didn’t discuss anything about my pregnancy at all. I would have assumed that as a physician and an OBGYN in a very diverse area, she would have had enough exposure to different cultures and religions to not make ignorant comments and statements to people of a different faith than her own. I know other doctors at this practice are probably great but they make you see a different doctor every appointment, and I never want to risk seeing Dr Brown again.

Not a great experience here. Front office staff who made my appointment were extremely nice, but the actual OB staff not so much. I made an appointment to establish a relationship with an OB and get a sonogram after finding out I was pregnant via blood test from my normal doctor. This is my first pregnancy and I mentioned right away that I had some concerns about my own health issues and how that might affect the baby. The nurse made no effort to address those concerns or give me any indication of what to expect going forward. As a first timer, this was really disappointing. I was rushed in and out of the appointment with very little chance to ask questions. The doctor kept us in a dark office before and after the sonogram which was just odd and unwelcoming. If you're not a first time mom, this place might be fine for you, but I would have appreciated a little more care.

A month ago I visited this office because I wanted to know what was happening with my hormones, after some blood tests they discovered that apparently it was my thyroid. They sent me a prescription, but it turned out that I don’t tolerate the medication. So, they referred me to an endocrinologist, but the endocrinologist said it wasn't the thyroid. The endocrinologist sent a note to the doctor, and I called the nurse to notify her of the situation and ask what the next step would be. I haven't received any response yet, which brings me to the beginning. I will definitely change this doctor.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. After finding out we had a miscarriage, Dr. Brown gave us the room and absolutely vanished. We went looking for her to find out she was on a "break" from asking a nurse. Come to find out she never called that day or the next to schedule my wife's D&C. We had to call and leave a message to get any bit of information. Absolutely the worst experience here on top of one of the worst experiences already. Zero compassion here once we were told we had a miscarriage. The next day, we had to call the place because we'd never heard back from the doctor about scheduling a D&C for my wife, which they told us was to be done ASAP. Turns out, the doctor never called the hospital to schedule anything for us. If we hadn't poked the doctor to do something, she was going to put it off. When we finally got a callback about scheduling her D&C, we were told to go to "the hospital" with no other details. When we called back for more details, they closed! Minutes after we just talked to them and 10 minutes before they were supposed to close. Abysmal experience, no compassion, near zero communication. Infuriating on top of an already devastating experience. We felt like we were being treated like taboo because we had a miscarriage.

I can't express enough gratitude for the exceptional care I received at capital women care throughout my pregnancy and postpartum journey. From the moment I walked through their doors, I was met with warmth, compassion, and unwavering support. During my pregnancy, the entire team were incredible. They provided me with valuable guidance, answered all my questions, and made me feel comfortable and confident throughout every stage. Their expertise and dedication ensured a smooth and healthy pregnancy. However, it was during my postpartum period, when I faced some of the most challenging times of my life, that the true strength of this clinic shone. The support I received from the doctors, nurses, and staff was nothing short of extraordinary. They helped me navigate the physical and emotional challenges of postpartum with empathy and professionalism. I want to extend my deepest appreciation to everyone at capital women care . You are all truly amazing, and your dedication to women's health is evident in every interaction. I highly recommend this place to any expectant or new mothers seeking exceptional care and support during this transformative time in their lives." *****Second review ***** I had the privilege of Nurse Debbie's exceptional care during my recent visit , and I must say, she truly went above and beyond. Her dedication and kindness were outstanding. I'd like to emphasize how Nurse Debbie's exceptional care and commitment were the highlight of my visit. I can't recommend her enough, and I'm sincerely grateful for her support during this important moment. Dr. Jacob also played a significant role in making the procedure comfortable, and she took the time to explain everything thoroughly. Thank you, Nurse Debbie, for going the extra mile to make me feel well-cared for. Thank you Capital women care

I’m currently a patient at this office and scheduled and appointment for 1pm. I tried contacting the front desk to inform them that I was in traffic and would arrive at the office at 1:15. Well I enter the office and check in on the machine that lasted approximately 5 mins. A young lady at the front desks yells for my attention and I’m finishing up with my checkin and I walk up to her desk and she tells me I have to reschedule my appointment. I asked her if there was any possibility that I could see the doctor because I tried calling and no one answered the phones. To make a long story short I wasn’t able to see the GYN because I was 15 mins late. What happened to the times when doctors and nurses genuinely cared about patients?? Dr.Hawaa is a great doctor and my Nurse Practitioner Nancy detected a lump in my breast so I’m grateful for them however the management team is detached to real life situations. So instead should we risk our lives, drive faster to make an appointment and not be given a 15 minute grace period!! Management please include in the appointment reminder email and text that grace periods are not available at this doctor’s office. You should be ashamed!

Dr Hawa is the best doctor to address endometriosis. He cares about his patients and is one of the best at what he does. I will always recommend him.
