We visited around the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday and were very impressed by how clean and well-stocked everything was. Coming from DC, we are used to having to make substitutions on the fly (especially for produce) because of available inventory. Thankfully there was no need at this location. The only challenge we faced was finding label printers that actually had labels in the produce section. Half of the printers were not working, so the three remaining were heavily trafficked. Something that surprised us was that the parking lot was very full, but inside the store did not feel incredibly busy and the checkout lines moved rather quickly.

On a recent trip to Leesburg, we needed some groceries from Wegmans and had not visited the location in Leesburg before so decided to stop off. Given the other retail shops, definitely busier to park and not as easy as Sterling. Store is laid out opposite to Sterling so when you come inside think that over. Did not find cheese like we have at the Sterling location. Seemed much busier because it might be smaller. Check-out lines were fast., Not a bad visit but prefer our Sterling/Dulles location.

5/11/21: Excellent Wegmans! Tasty 🍕. Great subs! Fantastic friendly staff! Clean. This is a top notch Wegmans among Wegmans. The store is laid out well & organized. 8/3/23: The store is big, neatly laid out, & plentiful with tasty food choices.

STAY AWAY from their bakery. It’s soooooo good. The cookies, cakes, pastries, donuts, pies….everything. Their hot food bar is also good. Wegmans does not disappoint. They always have Fresh produce. The pizza is good. The only thing I don’t love is when I tried to special order a cake online, I simply couldn’t do it. I had to go in which isn’t a bad thing but it was a tad bit inconvenient at that time.

Good produce, turkey and ham at the deli never last too long. Some cashiers take a LONG time and have big conversations which aren't always the nicest. They need more checkouts open. They usually only have 3 or 4 open with 5 people in line waiting.

Great place, high quality, and thus the prices are a little steeper compared to other grocery stores. Great sourdough bread. Looks like the coffee shop is going to be self-serve soon. Nothing screams "disingenuous" ( a.k.a fake) louder than a self-serve coffee machine with a nice slogan about "family owned". But these are the days rife with irony 🙄

Love Wegmans as the best grocery store ever! You can find everything you are looking for there. I love their bakery and fresh food options! They literally have the best sushi, better than restaurants. Their fresh sandwiches are soo good and their bakery is always easy to go in quickly last minute grab a cake and ask them to write something on it!

We love Wegman’s. The store located in Leesburg is our preferred Loudoun County location. The seem to have anything and everything we need. The sushi is awesome and so are the subs! The sesame rolls are Ah-mazing! I do have issues with their produce though. It seems to go faster than other grocers produce. It such an issue that we only but it for a few days at a time. This is annoying because we have to go multiple times a week. For all I know, this could be a solid business plan. Their craft beer section is awesome! I always find something new every time I go. Their prices are much more reasonable than Giant and and Safeway. Also, the have a MUCH better selection of product. This store really does have everything! I highly recommend Wegman’s.

Wegmans is a pretty amazing buying experience. With this new facility to me, I have no need for Wholefoods! More variety, plenty of Organics and everything else possible. Even better, better value. I am so happy, and shocked.😮

I’m vegetarian and love knowing I can swing into Wegmans, shop and get lunch in one fell swoop. They’re always improving too which is amazing. Was excited to see a vegan salad with seasoned tofu today! Hoping for a plant-based protein on that cool veggie crunch sammich in the near future. 😎 Thanks Wegmans, keep it up!

Wegmans used to be an awesome shopping experience but their transition to paper only bags has completely ruined the shopping experience at this store. Their cashiers simply cannot keep up and work effectively trying to fill self brought bags or paper bags. The lines are so long constantly that you cannot even venture into the front aisle of the store because you may not even be able to turn around. Checking out usually takes twice as long as shopping does. I would avoid this store and shop elsewhere unless absolutely necessary. Great selection doesn’t outweigh all of the cons of shopping here now.

I do love Wegmans. The options here are all awesome, and the staff is very helpful. I can't give 5 stars, though, because the prices are just insane. Is it worth it? Yes, I do come here when I feel like getting something good but not eating out. It's a good compromise but, at least to me, too expensive for my regular grocery store.

Friendly and helpful staff, flower section is fantastic, as is the deli, prepared foods, and bakery! It's Wegmans, the staff is happy because they have amazing benefits for them and pay them a fair wage.

Seriously, we used to love this store. However, over the past several years my enthusiasm for shopping at this Wegmans has declined. While the selection and prices are great, the overall experience is key. I really don't enjoy having to navigate roving toddlers out of control or shopping cart competitions through the produce section. It's an amazing produce section -- but good luck navigating it with an overflow of people who are unaware that other people exist. Therein lies my issue with Wegmans -- customer service acknowledges that customers can be rude and unwilling to corral their "romper room" contingent; I prefer to shop in relative peace. Check out Whole Foods for produce and shop elsewhere for a civilized shopping adventure.

Great selection of food stuffs. DO NOT GET FOOD FROM HOT BAR, unless you are a filthy rish and enjoy wasting $$. The packaged meals are okay and their subs of course are great...again, expensive these days, but great. Customer service is bar-none; so I guess that's part of what you're paying for.

I don't know if it's a trend at grocery stores but the quality of proteins have really gone down hill here. I don't expect butcher style where they can cut whatever you say but between lack of tools (such as saws) would certainly go a long way and the product itself is meh. Fruits and veg look good. Herbs need work.

There was a good deal of varieties for dinner suggestions. Much less expensive than fast food and each person got to choose their favorite meal all in one location. Eating in was very nice and it was a clean quiet area with intriguing views of the store.

After witnessing one of the baristas come out the bathroom WITHOUT washing her hands, I will NEVER be buying coffee or eating any of the hot and ready food from wegmens EVER again. Uncleanliness and unsanitary behavior is VERY unacceptable ESPECIALLY when you are handling people’s food and beverages. As a frequent customer who spends their money quite often at this store I am not happy at all. One unclean employee reflects all employees. Hopefully management takes this review seriously and acts quickly. I will be telling other people people not to buy food or coffee from this store.

Wegmans is my favorite grocery store. I tell people it’s the “mother” of all grocery stores. It has pretty much everything, groceries from all over such as Europe and Asia. Unique things you won’t be able to find elsewhere. They have so much variety of bread, baked desserts, fish, meat, etc. They also have a large floral department and a fun train above the cheese/yogurt section my boys love. My kids have a host of allergies but wegmans always delivers with a huge gluten free section/allergen free section.

I ordered a meal to go about an hour before pick up. Which would give them plenty of time to get it ready. I get there and they said the soup is almost gone. So why didn’t they take the soup that I paid for and saved it and kept it warm? The reason it’s called “meals 2 go” is because it’s to go. Not get there and wait for your order you ordered an hour ago.

I have been shopping here for almost a year. I must say, I really do enjoy this grocery store. It's the perfect balance of 'standard' and 'boutique' grocery stores. The layout of the store definitely takes some getting use to but once you get it, it's easy to get in and out. The store is always clean, well stocked and staff have always been courteous and kind. Highly recommend!
