Good location and that’s it. The room is dark,.fridge is not working. Towels are stink and old. Bathroom is dark. No coat hangers, hair drier is not working. Breakfast nothing special. Very noisy you can hear the motorbikes and cars noise at night.Unfortunately we book for 7 days. Never again.

After spending a week at this wonderful hotel, I am eager to share my experience. From the moment of my arrival, it was evident that an atmosphere of hospitality and high-level service reigned supreme. Despite a minor misunderstanding during check-in, the staff excelled, ensuring a most comfortable stay. The attention to guests was evident in every detail: from the exquisite design of the rooms to the superb quality of the food. I would like to particularly mention the staff at the pool and the pool bar; their attentive service and professionalism made every moment of the stay truly unforgettable. It felt like the hotel was operating exclusively for me, indicating a high level of service personalization. The management and all hotel staff deserve special thanks for creating an atmosphere of warmth and comfort. I also want to express my gratitude to the security service, which tirelessly took care of my comfort and safety. Although the Accor Member loyalty program could see some improvements, it in no way detracted from my stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who values high service standards, attention to detail, and sincere hospitality. Thank you to all the staff for an unforgettable stay. Without a doubt, I will return again.

I don’t know how this hotel is getting good reviews. Everything is dirty, breakfast is more than poor. coffee cups, plates are dirty, it is disgusting. I cancelled my stay after the first night. It is definitely not 4* if any star hotel.

Location is excellent, right in the middle of a bustling shopping district, while providing enough of a buffer to the outside world that you can relax by the pool as if you were anywhere else. Short enough walk down to the beach, while markets start from right outside the hotel. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the area within short walking distance. The room was a good size, nice and clean- small quibbles as a family room, it did not have an option to open a window or let in fresh air, or any suitable space to hang wet clothes. Pool area is very nice and relaxing and restaurant was decent quality with lovely staff. As an Australian, I was caught out a bit by the requirement for a deposit to charge things to the room, put down a deposit of a decent amount upfront (and they will only charge for what you use) but as I had to make 3 separate deposits they made 3 transactions to cover- so charging 3 separate FX fees from home for the one bill amount. Feedback is all minor, as overall we had a great experience and would recommend the hotel to family & friends.

Hotel is in a great location, breakfast is good but same foods each day. Rooms are dark and bed is comfortable. A few maintenance issues in room including fridge not working, but it was replaced promptly. Air conditioning could be improved. Wifi was excellent. All the staff have been lovely & helpful!

Location - Good location, close to major attractions. Staff - Lovely helpful staff. Friendly and attentive. Rooms - Clean room with quality furnishings. Amenities on offer were good. Features - roof top pool was lovely. The area and pool is in need of some small repairs (eg broken pool tiles and decking) but I believe that is planned to happen, only recently opened up from Covid. It is definitely a great spot to relax, and there are reasonable priced food / drink options available up there. The gym is small but functional, a nice addition. Highly recommend breakfast - excellent selection and quality, especially for the price. Opens early as well to get fed before going out for the day. Wifi works well and is fast. Overall great place to stay. Excellent value for money. Definitely think it’s a good place if you have kids. Thanks for the stay!

Rooms are filthy, broken kettle, broken fridge door, air con only had two temperatures freezing cold or switched off! Elevators were disgusting, something you'd expect to see at a city car park. Only 2 worked anyway, Hand sanitisers were always empty in them. Asked for bottled water to be delivered to room at 6am (needed for baby) they said the "restaurant isn't ready" Can't get a beer before 12 from the bar. Looks nothing like the photos, please don't waste your money here, can get a much nicer boutique hotel for the same price.

Great customer service, arrived 2pm to check in, had to wait a bit but hotel offered welcome drink at bar while waiting. Room is nice and clean "no mouldy smell" stayed at balcony room with pool view. Money exchange just across the road convenience store just next to it. Nice location. Looking forward to stay my 3 nights here.

Beautiful grounds but that is the only positive to the hotel. Service is lacking both at breakfast and when around the pool area. It took us quite some time to get the attention of someone to order drinks. It would be great to have staff around the pool area asking guest if they would like to order drinks instead of guests having to try and seek out a staff member to order a drink (which take some time to arrive too) atmosphere is lacking. Music in the pool area would help to build atmosphere and would have kept our group of girls in the pool for longer. It was hard to find staff who also understood English. I understand we are in a foreign country and English is the second language but I would have not been the first guest to ask about happy hour. We noticed the lift mirrors were not cleaned once over our 5 night stay. If these are not cleaned, what else is not cleaned? Under our beds were filthy with dust and objects from previous guests. The tea/coffee station on our room was also dusty. As I said beautiful hotel but would never stay here again due to lack of service and cleanliness.

Good staff however the hotel is not in a good condition. Rooms are very dark and need a very good clean and a paint job. We got room with a plunge pool however we didn’t feel Like using it. This type of room is the best they have got but still in very bad condition. Old furniture. Dirty walls. Broken wall skirtings. Staff are really trying to do their best to help out but they can’t change the condition hotel is in. Lots and lots of mosquitoes, we had to ask staff to spray but still lot in lobby. Doesn’t look like they do fogging or any spray. Infinity pool area small. Kids pool a joke. Location is good as it’s close to shops but on busy road.

Stayed here for the first time 2 weeks ago and will be our last. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful. The room was nice, nothing flash but had everything you need. The staff were lovely when you could find one. While they don’t have a swim up bar , having staff serving drinks would have been nice. You have a buzzer to be able to order drinks but took ages for staff to come. Than it took staff forever to make the drinks. In the end we were ordering 2 at a time which were going warm. Many of the staff really struggled to understand English which made it very difficult to communicate. Nothing is clean. The lifts were a disgrace and hadn’t been cleaned once in my 5 day stay. The dust and finger prints in my room were horrible and under my bed looked like it had never been cleaned. My brand new phone would over heat and loose charge when using their plugs. The security guard at the front gate wouldn’t have known what was going on as he was always on his phone. They had 2 workers putting a fan on the wall and one of the men spent over 15 minutes taking photos of the kids on the pool , and was quickly trying to delete them when caught. If you have kids don’t show them the ice cream bar as it’s $4.50 per very small which is crazy. And we had 2 freezing cold showers due to no hot water. Would never stay here again

Strategically located, close to Kuta beach and the famous Legian street where there are many interesting shop. Decent room and amenities, nothing special but good enough. Proper food, nice taste but most of the Indonesian cuisine is too oily. We came for work related meeting, and we had difficulties with the projectors in the meeting rooms.

We had a few issues with the room, we asked for a twin room and when we got there none where available. Then 2nd day we got back to hotel room to see the ceiling had leaked and flooded into the room. I had to ask to change rooms, they did and only took about an hour. Great service; staff are very friendly. Someone kids came to adult only pool and were not moved on which is annoying. Food ok. I would eat out in restaurants near by rather than hotel. But breakfast buffet was nice. I would stay again. Location is great!

2 weeks here. Tiles on the pool are missing so you stub your toe alot. Took 3 days for a safe to be fixed. The eggs are blue at breakfast and there was a long hair cooked into one of the pastries... not impressed.

The staff are really amazing, the manager is top class. Anything you ask the staff it is no bother at all. With a few minor updates the hotel would be one of the top hotels in legian. I would recommend booking the room with the plunge pool came in really handy with our 7 month old. She could not get enough. Also if you have kids the staff are amazing with them.

Rooms were not clean, dusty. Staff was really kind and sweet and always ready to help. Massage was excellent, very relaxing and enjoyable. Did not understand the water policy whereby instead of sending up 6 bottles of water at once like I requested (for my entire day's intake) the hotel could only send up 4 each time and requested me to call again after they delivered the 4 to me. It was really funny as it did not make sense to me at all.

We had an excellent stay at Mecure , excellent breakfast selection. Clean and well kept hotel all staff were friendly and helpful. Pools are very nice and upstairs deck area is lovely to chill out at. My only bother was our room was located close to the main road so we could hear traffic early on in the mornings. Also our air con was quite noisy but our stay overall was excellent.

The hotel is quite dated and has multiple flaws. Curtains that don’t close entirely and let too much light in, poor noise insulation from the street, locks that don’t work, and a shower head that doesn’t work correctly… not what I expected from Mercure. With the many hotels available in Bali, I can confidently say that I won’t be back. I have previously paid less per night and enjoyed better facilities. The staff is lovely, but the hotel needs to be updated.

Mercure Bali Legian is close to everywhere. There are a lot of spas in walking distance (highly recommended Carla's Spa) and you can reach the beach in no time. While Bali is well known for its hospitality the team of Mercure Bali Legian will surprise you even more.

We only stayed 1 night due to our change of flight plans..... Room 307 was very nice, clean, overlooking the pool which was lovely. The fridge didn't feel cold. Dinner and drinks by the pool was very nice ,settling in to Bali life. Breakfast was large selection and busy on arrival....but by half way through it quietened down-8.30-9,ish Thankyou for a nice stay

This was our first stay in Bali. It was very disappointing, we arrived late at night and there was no support for luggage from car to the room. Not a very warm welcome from staff. Not a good first impression. In to the room and it was ok. Fridge was not cold. Breakfast next morning was average at best. The breakfast area is hot with very little air movement. Food is substandard for this type of hotel. 1 toaster for 100 plus people that was old, slow and not set correctly. No bowls or spoons for cereal, had to ask staff continually. Coffee urn was empty and varied between broken coffee machine, urn or coffee pots. Tea was provided but not drinkable. Needed to queue up for fresh eggs at a serving window where the cook would cook them. Not cleaning pan or utensils in between dishes, therefore you would get crusted eggs from previous cooking in you dish. Food range, quality and variety over our 7 day stay was poor, the last days of our stay we ate outside the hotel. Rooftop pool wasn't too inviting for kids so we used in the pool on the ground floor area. This pool didn't seem safe with slippery paths and side areas. Not many pool lounges available. Pool light in the pool was only held in by the wire. Pool toys supplied were a great idea. Room. Very dark at night with all lights on. No light on balcony. Both bathroom and room foor was not mopped during our stay. We received complementary tooth brushes daily even though you could see we were not using them. At the end of the stay there was a pile of tooth brushes we left there. Good location with money changer across the road with a shop for drinks and laundry services next door. Short walk to the beach.

The staff was nice and helpful! It was a decent place for 1 night. We paid 82 dollars for 1 night with breakfast. The breakfast was not great but for the price it’s fine. It’s a good place with many restaurants near by. Will come back if need a cheap and decent place!

Location is great, clean and nice room, rather small room though, but the bathroom is big enough. Breakfast is ok, meet the standard, but porridge was not done well, and lots of mosquitoes and flies around the table. Other than that I don’t see anything particularly great nor bad. It’s a good standard hotel.

Stayed at the Mercure Legian in September 2022. This is our 2nd time staying there. The rooms and the hotel in general is a little more run down than the last time we stayed there. When we arrived our room wasn't ready, wasn't clean and there was old fruit left on the table that made the room stink. Staff were friendly and attended to anything we required fixing. Restaurant was clean and food was good. The roof top pool requires maintenance as there is a number of loose tiles on the bottom of the pool which I cut my foot on. The bed was really uncomfortable and the pillows were terrible. The hotel is in a good location and close to some good restaurants and a short walk to the beach. I'm sure the hotel will continue to improve as they start to build their business back up after COVID

The rooms are clean..location is great.. service falls short to give any higher than 3. Comprehension of basic English is not there despite harbouring international tourists for decades. Food is not great. Better food can be found walking along the streets. If you are looking for an affordable accommodation without any hospitality expectations, it is ok.

Room was so-so, we got the family suit but feels a little bit small for one family to stay in. One of the lights were out and we had to get it fixed, which they thankfully came quickly. The hair dryer can only be used for like 1 minute max and needs 10 minutes to “recharge” which was very weird… so we slept in half-dried hair almost every night. The room was very humid and smells like “old wood” most of the time… Breakfast taste was so-so too, the menu stays the same every single day. Our room was near to the road and it gets very noisy especially when motorbikes are almost having a party out there. Staff was friendly, though :) service is great but can’t say the same for facilities…

Great place to stay! We booked a room with private pool, pool was good temperature. We did find some cigarettes and an empty carton behind the chair.. The beds were amazing, we slept very well, also curtains don't let any light through, food/drinks were of good value, both pools were nice. Location was great, across the street is a money changer and 24hr mini shop, coffee houses, the best massage place on the corner (Rehat) and close to the beach. Overall it was a very nice hotel to stay in!

Very lovely staff! However our king room with plunge pool and the hotel itself should be luxurious however everything needs a little spruce up and cleaning. For example we didn’t really want to use our plunge pool because the water looked dirty and the bed next to it was very dirty. The photos make it seem a lot better then it is.
